My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights and very much enjoyed it. Quaint, clean, great prices, close walk to Disneyland, quiet, good parking and friendly staff. Pool is salt water not requiring much chlorine if any but have your children keep their eyes closed to eliminate the initial burning of eyes such as the ocean does. I’d stay here again!!!
We're always happy with rooms that are clean, comfy, quiet, has the stuff we need... doesn't need to be super modern (although that's nice), because as my husband says "we're only here to sleep". Which is true, we're always out all day.
I just came back from a trip to Disneyland and stayed at this hotel. First off, the room was clean and looked like it had been updated within the past couple of years, although the shutters do let in quite a bit of light at night but it isn't glaring, and yes you do hear the fireworks but it doesn't last very long. The parking lot is small and there is a height clearance of 7'2" to get into the parking lot itself, but it's free. The breakfast isn't anything to crow about but was plenty to hold me over for a few hrs (there is a 7-11 at Harbor and Katella as well as a Walgreens and CVS, and even an IHOP in that same area as well). The walk to the park takes about 15 minutes, and you only have to do the Disney Way crosswalk (cut through the 7-11 parking lot to save a couple of minutes too). Would I stay at this hotel again... you bet I would. 9/10!!!
+Dyandra Bunting the prices vary so much and change so often it would be hard to say unless you go to their website and put in the dates that you want to stay. I know when we stayed the room was $99 for the night. Because this hotel is right across the street from the Anaheim Convention Center the prices can fluctuate depending on what conventions are going on not just high and low Seasons at Disneyland Park.
This motel dates back to 1959 so it’s definitely a mid century hotel and pretty much the only one left in Anaheim.. before the 1990’s Anaheim had a character to it and each motel had a cool theme, but they decided to tear em all down unfortunately :( that is the reason for the popcorn ceiling and old architecture which I love.. so for being so old, this place was and is very well kept and looks beautiful.. I would definitely stay in it if I was from a different state and visiting Disneyland but I live like 15 min away..
Trust me the Alamo down and across the street is definitely old school 1960's . The front building makes it look newer , it isn't . Outside of the flat screen , the rooms stuck in 1965 in every way . Relatively Cheap and clean though and no theme as you mentioned.
I can't stand hotel beds. I am paranoid about bed bugs and other insects, germs, etc. and I am not normally like that. Just extra sensitive when traveling as I am way outside my comfort zone. This would be super cute if they redid it with a frozen theme. Then they would probably skyrocket the price though...
We got in at this place back in 2016 after our airbnb turned out to be a filthy bug infested trap. We thought for sure this place was going to be a dive from the looks outside but we were pleasantly surprised. The beds were super comfy, it was quiet, felt secure as the parking lot is very open and lit up. If you're going to DL is literally on the same block. And at the time they had a small included breakfast with yogurt, fruit , muffins and drinks you can go. Which is more realistic when you're trying to rush off to DL at 6:30am. xD Ain't nobody got time for sit down breakfast at DL.
The Family Fudge oh I didn't know you guys had annual passes! You must be pretty close then? Lucky! We're in Oregon - but it's still a pretty big trip to get down there 😔 I got lucky wth twice in one year haha but I would go all the time if I could!
+Jessica Melton My husband surprised me with them during what i thought was a one time trip last september! You can see the video here th-cam.com/video/raYgl_iqqdc/w-d-xo.html

I've always wondered about this hotel. Thanks for the great review

Could you try and include pricing too? It would be helpful to see price differences between the different places 😀

Not bad & very close to the parks. I like your choice of background music, good for getting you in the holiday mood.
I can't believe how close the hotel is to the Radiator Springs ride.
The best rooms there are on the second floor on the side that literally looks into the back of Radiator Springs, great view from the bathroom window.
Thank you for all of your hotel reviews!
+nick newman you are very welcome. Thanks for watching :-)
