    I have been experimenting with the Pro Channel and like what it can do. I know Cakewalk processes the channel from the top down but, what I learned from this lesson was which order they should be in. I have probably been doing it wrong. I'm going back to some of my creations and experiment some more by moving them into the order you suggested. Thanks Zane, you made my day.

      Glad you enjoyed the video. You don't have to follow this order exactly. Do whatever works best for your projects. This was just to kind of mimic a classic workflow. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍

      It’s an excellent DAW. It’s hard to believe that it’s free and there are no upswells on it. Thank you for watching and for the comment about my song. I’m looking forward to completing it soon. Keep creating! 👊👍

    Does Cakewalk come with guitar effects and cab ir's? Can I have one pro channel per track? Thanks for the demo.

    • @AudioTechTV
      @AudioTechTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes and yes. Cakewalk comes with a very nice guitar amp sim with cabinets. It’s called TH3. Here is a video where I look at that a little more th-cam.com/video/5uuur51L9xI/w-d-xo.html
      The pro channel is automatically on every track but isn’t enabled until you turn it on or turn on one of the modules within it.

      @@AudioTechTV Thank you for your answers, I had forgotten that.
      I am a long time Reaper user, but I like the look and feel of cakewalk, so I often get lost with both their learning curves, almost makes me want to go back to a Porta studio.

      @@seanwalsh999 I often think about going back to a porta studio but then I remember some of the quirks and drop the thought until it pops back in my head again. Lol.

    Hi how are you do La-2a is a stock or have to buy later And olease can you explain what console is and how it works

    • @TheDaveDodsonProject
      @TheDaveDodsonProject 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a stock plug-in. Bandlab doesn't charge a cent for everything that comes with this DAW.

    Question, are you actually printing through the channel strip or is it still going in through the preamp and converters un affected?

    • @AudioTechTV
      @AudioTechTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Mark. If you were to record through this it would not be printing it to the track. It's basically the same as using VST FX on your track so it's non destructive.

      @@AudioTechTV been curious. Thanks. Been printing out reverbs, particularly convolution verbs like InspirataLite and delays a lot more lately to save CPU.

    Do you post your songs anywhere?

    • @AudioTechTV
      @AudioTechTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes. I release them with DistroKid so they get posted everywhere. I release music mainly under two different band names: Silver Rocket Surfers which is more of a punk/hard rock project; The other name is "The Electric Shark" which is a newer project for me and it's more of a classic rock, maybe even folk rock type of sound. The song in this video will be released under "The Electric Shark" name. I have a few songs that are going to be a similar sound to this. Hopefully I can release them soon! Thank you for watching and for asking about my music. Keep creating! 👊👍

    I always assumed that since the Console Emulator defaults to the end of the Pro Channel, it should go and the end of a track's chain, but what you say here totally makes sense. For the master bus, however, wouldn't you still put a limiter on the end after the tape? Thanks for the great clear content!
