Scream is one of the most rewatchable movies for me

The scream series is better then watching Spider-Man and venom movies.I can't stand how anyone can watched those romantic action comedy movies y'all know? In Scream, the characters were watching Halloween movie. In Halloween H20, one character (Laurie Strode's son) was watching Scream 2.
That's cuz Kevin Williamson was an uncredited script doctor for Halloween h20.

it was a scene with Michelle Williams and Jodi Lyn O'keefe they were preparing to party on Halloween and Scream 2 was on the TV they had in their dorm.

A bonus thing I thought you would have included: Scream's monster success gave Wes Craven his first and only chance to direct a non-horror film in his career. One of the Weinsteins called him into the script office after it was clearly going to be a huge moneymaker, and said "Pick anything we own, and you can make it." Which is how "Music of the Heart" got onto Craven's resume, and how he got to claim "I directed Meryl Streep to an Oscar nomination."
How could you not include that that whole scenario was in Scream 3?? One of Roman’s first scenes is the one where he talks about how he just wanted to make a love story-but they said he had to make a scary movie first. “And now [he is] *FUCKED!”* LOL
Probably because the only thing I remember from Scream 3 is Carrie Fischer's glorious scene talking about how she was up for Princess Leia, but who got the part? The bitch who screwed George Lucas, of course.
Yeah 3 was like the ultimate meta-in joke-parody-movie within a movie. (As Gale would say: “How meta can you get?”) They made a Scream film about them making a film about Stab which is about the Woodsboro murders, and *a lot* of the story line was based on real life. Then they went off the deep end with Scream 4.

I’m so glad they decided to name the film _Scream_ and not “Scary Movie”. It’s much more fitting for the film, especially since the iconic Ghostface mask looks like its “screaming” 😱

Here's a bonus BONUS thing you (probably) didn't know: the MPAA slapped the film with an NC-17 rating. So in order to change their minds and get the film an R, the producers told the MPAA to view the film as a comedy instead of a horror film, and it worked.
It is a comedy. A very very dark one but a comedy non the less. I think I laugh watching these much more then get scared.

Adriano Vazquez I think that's the biggest problem though, that it's meh. When you have the original scream being so fucking fantastic, than have scream 2 being a very worthy follow up, scream 3 taking such a down Ward dip in quality is gonna make people hate it.
I felt that Scream went down from the original one. The films went off a cliff after the original, but I still enjoyed two and three. Two was much better then three. Number four wasn't that good at all.

The ghostface mask was BASED off a mask that was found at a halloween store. They didn't have the rights to use the original mask, so they designed their own based on it. They altered the eyes and the mouth.
The original mask they found was actually used in the opening scene with Drew Barrymore.
You can easily tell it is different too.

Here's another piece of trivia for you guys: Scream helped make caller ID as commonplace as the Internet today. The fear of being called and stalked by a masked murderer without any indications to his/her true identity made a LOT of people paranoid for their lives.
In Scream, when she,Tatum, & Dewey are running errands, Sidney says that the streets remind her of the movie, “The town that dreaded sundown.” about a masked serial killer that was never caught.Finally watched it, pretty good. Then I search for other movies like this and find, “Are you in the house alone?” is about a HS girl being terrorized by a stalker with phone calls and letters. Even though the wording is different, Sidney calls Stu and Billy and asked, “Are you alone in the house?” I love little hints like this in movies, it’s like a scavenger hunt

I noticed a little Easter egg the last time I watched Scream. If you listen during the scene where everyone is watching Halloween, at the part in Halloween that Michael kills Bob, you can hear one of the kids watching the movie say that it’s obviously fake because Bob’s blood is too bright. Doesn’t seem too important until a few minutes later when Ghostface “kills” billy. If you notice, when billy turns to look at Sidney, the “blood” on his shirt is a much brighter shade of red than the other blood shown in this movie. You may say that it’s because blood gets lighter when it gets out of the body, but keep in mind he was supposedly just stabbed, so there is no way the blood would be that bright. You can even see after Sidney stabs him that the blood on his shirt from that wound is much darker than the fake blood he used earlier. This might be me just reading too deeply into this, but if it isn’t, then it makes me appreciate Wes Craven as a director even more.

I beg to differ, I think Vampire in Brooklyn will be one of the most memorable vampire movies in the history of movies! Eddie Murphy is spot-on with every character he played in the movie and Mr. Payne play the partner to the T, but you can't forget Angela Bassett looking so fine playing up to the camera every minute she's in front of the camera the comic relief from J. Spoon was so funny you want to watch it again.

Another bonus thing, Horror Punk band The Misfits had learned that director Wes Craven was interested in using Misfits songs for his film Wishmaster, but instead they decided to submit a song for the upcoming Scream 2. They wrote the song "Scream" in a parking lot while on tour, recorded a demo version and submitted it to the studio which was eventually turned down.

Fun fact the Casey Becker scene from scream one used actual phone calls to talk to drew. The local police station noticed the repeated calls and actually sent the cops to the location to see what was going on.

Another thing is in Scream 2 they wanted Sarah Michelle Gellar specifically to play Cece Cooper. She at first refused because she was in the middle of moving, but later accepted the offer after they offered to pay for her moving trip. (Or so I’ve read). But in the deleted scenes of Scream 2, they do have a different girl playing Cece.

Drew Barrymore is delightful in the recent "Santa Clarita Diet" as a real estate agent/accidental zombie. She's married to Justified/Deadwood's Timothy Olyphant. It's a gem of a show. She has been a wonderful actor since she was a kid.

You could’ve shown the early concept drawings and the picture of the mask found in a bedroom I have all of that. They then tried to make masks that looked similar to avoid copyright. It was a small time mom and pop Halloween store that owned the rights to the mask. They tried to make their own and they all looked shitty. So they finally gave in and paid for the rights.

there were also other cuts made to the R rated version of the movie (ex. we don't see Steve's guts falling out in the R rated version and the climax with Billy and Stu uses more harmless alternate footage in the R rated version), but unfortunately the original NC-17 rated version is only currently available on laserdisc and some VHS copies
