    Prior to building any septic system, we must first determine the right system for the lot conditions. In this video, we look at the soil testing in a high water area.

    Thanks for the videos. If the soil is too clay and sandy, therefore there's no chance of a septic tank being installed?

      We install septic systems in clay regularly. We utilize an above grade system (sand mound), this method has been used successfully for many years in tight soils, seasonal saturated soil conditions, water tables, shallow soil depths etc.

      @@groundstonewastewaterservi5066 I know this is three years later, but do you have more videos, information, website on these high water table installs? That test pit looks EXACTLY like mine except I have a bit more stone down the bottom as I'm about 400m from a river. I've never been so stressed before in my life trying to find someone who can come to me with a solution that makse sense. I am in New Zealand.
