Thnks bro... this actually gave me interest in reading different versions of The Bible...soon will do tat...bt watever it is , the ultimate msg is loving God, loving our neighbors , fleeing frm sins and accepting Jesus tat he died for us n he has now given Holy spirit to work among us ...I have put my foundation on Jesus so nothing is gonna discourage me from loving God or following his footsteps even though we have Bibles of different translations/versions/missing books/missing verses...Once you taste the love of GOD I think these things shouldn't affect our walk of life

Much needed message. Thank you so much. Many Christians take KJV dogmatically and reject NIV and ESV without examining their merits. So you have done a great service to Tamil Christians. The NIV and ESV have used more reliable and older manuscripts than the Greek\Hebrew text used by KJV, as lucidly pointed out by you. Besides, the KJV translators were appointed by King James and they could be scholars and experts. But whether they were men of God is not known to us. Whereas the Bible scholars behind NIV and ESV are genuine servants of God such as D A Carson, J I Packer, Wayne Grudem and many others. Everyone in the Translation Committees were professing Protestant Evangelicals. Further, English language has changed over centuries and much of KJV language is difficult to understand for the 21st century reader. Hence, Christians should be encouraged to use these new versions and be blessed. Thanks once again; you have done a great service to the Church; the Body of Christ in Tamil Nadu.

Dear Brother - can you also please explain about the various tamil versions available. From which language were these translated and how we distinguish the catholic tamil version from the protestant versions. The source to know about the english versions are available everywhere but for Tamil versions there is not enough descriptions. There are some articles on how they were translated by German scholars and how the first printing press came into India during the process. But nothing clear about the various versions. I am waiting eagerly for your next video on this. I had been asking so many preachers including many popular preachers in TH-cam but no one responds or they stay away from replying.
