In most parts of asia, you can basically get a combo of popcorn and soda for about 5usd. Hearing that its 15usd in america is just insane. In singapore that accounts to about 20sgd, which is enough to buy two tickets and two combos

8:05 fun fact the reason they are so expensive is because they don’t get as much money on opening day in america. When a movie gets shown the first week nearly all the profits go to the movie makers, on the later weeks it goes more towards the theater. Where barely anyone watches it.
