This is one of those videos that will always bring back great memories. I found it a few months after it was posted and thought it was the greatest thing. I met Chris along with Hellogoodbye in November 08. It was one of the first times I ever truly felt alive. I was only 13 and it was my first concert that wasn't in a huge arena. I remember it like it was yesterday. My music taste has changed drastically and I have grown so much since but I am so glad I started my love and appreciation for music at such a young, vulnerable age. I'd like to one day possibly get the day of the concert tattooed on me because I will never forget the way I felt. Music is a great thing

Indie music is probably the closest you can get. There’s pop punk indie bands and some that take heavy influence from the emo style of singing. You can probably find some bands that emulate these styles super closely, but there are a lot that retain some of this while experimenting.
