Nick and P Nut are so humble here. These guys are legends that knew the original sublime and saw Brad at his best/worst. Longevity these guys have had is clearly based in part to this level of couth.
You can tell at 3:10 how much Nick feels the magic of reggae in his bones. PNut is half asleep for most of this but you can't blame him. 311 are one of the hardest working bands ever. I wish they woulda talked about stick figure a little more. His singing style never grabbed me but he is not only an amazing songwriter but produces all of his stuff as well. If Nick and PNut started their own reaction channel, that would be amazing!
Stick figures singing style is hit or miss for me but it sounds really good here, it's obviously him, credit is definitely due with his songwriting and production abilities AND he is a multi instrumentalist. I don't know how anyone in the reggae scene wouldn't know all about him at this point
THE Goat 🐐 🐐 🐐 Sublime Is The Goat Of this Style music!!! 311 isn't inn the same Greatness!!!💪💪💪🥊😎😎😎😎 Bradley is The Greatest. He has been Dead For almost 30 years and We Still Talking about Him 💪❤️✌️✌️❤️😎✌️
Just say you've only heard one or two songs from 311. If you actually heard enough from 311 to have a legitimate view of what they bring to the table, you wouldn't have written....whatever the hell this comment is lol
Dude 311 pioneered that hybrid, rap rock style that's been copied for the last 34 years. Don't know why they're always compared with Sublime, and the only reason why people still talk about Sublime is because Brad OD'D. U just got that "Misdirected Hostility".
⬆ Just wanted to comment the same thig. :) All the other comments mentioning the same fact here are correct. :) No idea who sang that verse in question, my bet is on Bradley though,
So Lauren is way off here...First two verses are Stick Figure, 3rd verse is Brad, 4th verse is half Brad then Jakob comes in at the "It's so nice just to get to be here..." part. Then the "All the words your saying" bridge part is Stick Figure again. And the other dog is Stick Figure's road dog Cocoa!
They got every part wrong though ha. Scott from Stick Figure does the verses, then Brad, then Jakob. Haha Stick Figure has toured with 311 also but I guess the fella’s never listened to them ha.
I saw some live footage from when iya terra was still a band where stick figure did his feature on their "give thanks" track and brought his dog out onstage. It was awesome. 311 is my favorite band and I don't like to speak bad about em but like another commenter here said, a little research would have gone a long way.
does this female work for this radio station????... why does she not realize Stuck Figure plays a major role in this🎶🎶🎶🎶????...I guess she's trying to seem knowledgeable to 311...how embarrassing for the radio station
@@FeedMeMedia Nah, they're just different strokes. Nick doesn't adlib at all. He's actually quite the perfectionist and wants everything as smooth as it can be. Brad was total opposite. Gave less of a fuck and just wanted to do what he wanted to do.

I can't believe Lauren O'Neil did not realize that Stick Figure sings on the song and got the Stick Figure parts confused with Jakob.
And no love for Cocoa. She doesn't know Stick Figure and just focused on Jakob and Sublime for sure.
She seems so fake

Wow she has no clue about Stick Figure and when it was Scott singing his part.
I just seen 311 with Sublime in Orlando it was freaking amazing.
was there too, such a great time, and something i never thought i'd get to see
Love that song 🎵 heard it few weeks ago ❤
Lauren did not research at all before listening to this. Fell on her face with this.
She was so off with who was singing each part. The dog is Stick Figures dog too.

311>>>>>>Sublime. Two totally different bands.

@11:38 Help you think of a title for the album??? name it OCEANPHONE after nick's two favorite subjects to sing about. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The other dog is Cocoa and that is Scott from Stick Figures dog.

Honestly, the only thing keeping this from being an extremely unmemorable run of the mill reggae song was stick figure's contributions.
@@Rob_Cary100% agree. I keep saying that over and over.

The brown dog is stick figures.
That’s what I was thinking. Isn’t his name Coco? And didn’t he pass away? Or am I wrong?
@@TheKetch Coco is alive.

The lack of knowledge of whose verse it is, the graphic of Scott’s dog cocoa calling it Jakobs, ect. A little research would have went a long way here
I mean you can literally tell it's stick figure on those versus. Hard to miss his style.
Almost seems intentional but who knows. 311 guys are ……. interesting..
LOUNGE LINK LOUNGE LINK
This woman Jacob's it's Scott's man..... Stick Figure cut it out
Hard to watch this when they don't know who made the song...
FFS that’s Scott on the first, second and last verse...

Relax.
Lol...after reading comments on here I'm not the only one who thinks this
@@Q101it was a weird interview and failed to mention the guy who created the entire song.
I wonder if Nick Hexum beat the shit out of Brad back in the day after being an asshole, and just kept it low key?
That’s Scott’s dog on the right.. that’s Cocoa... you should ease off the hair dye
Holy cringe batman :/
That song was definitely cringe
You can tell Nick is low-key jealous he can't adlib or rap as good as Brad
Highly doubt that, 311>>>>>>Sublime

Or produce as well as stick figure
There is absolutely nothing in here that would imply that lol. I doubt at this point that Nick is jealous of anybody.
