My Leatherman Charge story. I was on my way back to Phoenix and I had to go pee and held it as long as I could. In a panic about to piss my pants I pulled over on the highway about 15 minutes outside of Dateland at a random spot...got out and opened my two doors on my truck for privacy. Whipped my pecker out and look straight down and there was a brand new Leatherman Charge right at my feet. Not even dusty or dirty from the desert elements. Someone obviously pulled over at that same location not long before...used it once and dropped it. It's been in my truck ever since and it's been my good luck tool for years!!!
Gotta love the arc, did not experience any issues on the hard wire cutters. Every tool it comes handy for me (even the impact surface tool) i have a buddy of mine that makes a custom heavy duty leather holster for it that can be worn even without a belt.
Finally ordered mine today, can’t wait for it to come in. Been using my Dad’s pst since he passed away, but almost lost it and decided to order the arc and leave the pst in my house. I’ll be pissed if I lose the arc, but if I lost my dad’s pst, I’d be heartbroken.
I wish it had the serrated blade/gut hook combo instead of the mini eyeglass bit driver that could have been incorporated into the Normal bit driver and this would be perfect
That’s awesome, been carrying my Berber suspension nxt for the last couple years hasn’t let me down yet. Maybe someday I’ll buy this Gucci multitool but I’ll be too scared to use it 😂
I would buy it, but it doesn't have a serrated blade. A small watch screwdriver takes up a lot of space. It's a useful item, it could be made without the bit holder as a separate accessory hidden somewhere in the case.
Is it worth it? For me it would be. I have a wave and I use it at least 4-5 times a day. I have a farm and a landscaping business. Leatherman is the best tool I’ve ever invested in. I will be getting one of these as soon as I can.
Please leatherman, make a serrated knife option instead of the saw! These should be an option on your website and would take next to no modification. Charge me $10 extra to be able to choose! You offer other custom options. Make this one included in the list
@@STElevation a serrated blade is very useful for all kinds of cutting tasks. Saw is very specific. I don’t want to dull my main blade when cutting boxes or rope. Serrated to cut heavy duty strapping. Not sure what people use the saw for. I’ve never once needed one. What do u use your saw for?

I need to see one , before I can Judge , ATM , I schlep a Wave + , a Charge + , or my Surge . ( Also a Vic. Spirit MX Clip , when I want something more compact!
It would be a very solid tool if it had a serrated blade instead of the awl like the wave +. It has all the wave tools in a better position but it's missing the serrated blade.
I emailed and asked. The tool has been fixed to not have a gap at the bottom and they will replace any arc sent in with the cutter fault. according to Leatherman.
In all fairness, this is more of a novelty item. The pliers are weak to say the least and trying to use the Arc as a screwdriver, might as well just use spaghetti. Money much rather well spent on a surge or even a wave. The blade is nothing to lose sleep over. Keep any other Leatherman blade sharp and it does the same job.
I’ve gone through 3 charge + and I can’t see a reason to switch to this. One handed opening is nice but I hated the feel of the pliers on the freep2 so I’m guessing this would be similar.
@@STElevation I’ve lost one down a hole, second one I have attached to my gear and I carry one daily for work. Honestly, the best thing I’ve ever carried.

How many are 100% one hand operable? Don’t get me wrong for the price a wave will do all the same things just as well but you’ll need two hands to do it that’s what people are paying for.

Been using mine for 3 months. haven't had a problem with the wire cutters and no problem with the tool itself👍🏻
It would be if I could affor it😢
I’m sticking with my supertool 300
Same here.
No way. Arc is 299€ in EU. I bought Leatherman Wave for 89€ (holster included, but it was 10 years ago)
dont compare the wave to the arc, this is made with different metals and alot more comfortable to use
Finally a proper video for Arc daily using
I want so bad...
Is this where people that can't afford an Arc gather and talk sh*t about it? Lmao
It’s where people gather to say that the skeletool is still the best EDC multitool

Why? There’s more functionality in flat and saw than flat and serrated? Just genuinely interested why that would be your preference.

Maybe if it had S30v steel and would cost around 180 euros.. I'd be happy with a little sacrifice on the blade..
The blade is definitely sufficient enough, better than most of their other blades.
the only chance that would be nice would be the old clippers back. these have a gap at the bottom and wont cut all the way through

The eyeglass screwdriver is so wack... You do realize you could just incoperate that to the back end of the bit driver extension
