Take the filters out and can be rinse out. The case and the Filters all can be cleaned with water dry with a paper towel. This Bot is great Amazon for $350.00 got a $25.00 coupon. Total cost $325.00. To get a half decent Bot is $200.00 and up. I purchased two Eventer Brand for less than $125.00. There OK but the 7040 does a great job.
Yes. The remote will be able to do almost everything. With the app you will get the ability to set the schedule for automated cleaning, manually tell it to clean when not at home and get notifications if the vac gets stuck on something.

Take a 6 penny finish nail and put 2 in each corner OF YOUR CARPET BINDING !! . IN THE CARPET ONLY>>>DON"T NAIL YOUR CARPET TO THE FLOOR.Just push them directly into the corner, one down each side of the BINDING/stitching, and it will hold those corners down with the tight stitching the manufacturer uses to keep the carpet yarn together.

I found if you take it off the Charging Station, it’ll Crawl back on to the Charger.

On thick rugs it will adjust the power and increase the suction.

Yes. It will go into all the rooms it can get into as long as the doors are open.

Yes. After the app is installed onto your phone then it will let you set up features such as schedules, alerts to if vac is having problems, etc.
