Been seeing a lot of mixed criticism about this song and I cannot understand why. The post-rock ambient vibes pouring from this are incredible and I'm absolutely in love with this type of sound.
Have you checked out Jesse’s side project Ghost Atlas’s new album? It’s a lot like this, I love it.
People hate change, imo Erra has “been there, done that” with technical stuff so I think they should be free to do whatever they want at this point. Their first full length came out 14 years ago. 😂

This is my favorite song so far off of the new album! This is my type of music.
ERRA are the perfect band for me. Just keeps getting better with every release and their early stuff is monumental both for me and the scene really. Also, they are fucking amazing live too!

I bought their vinyl thr second it was released. I didn’t even question it very excited to hear the full album.
This song is at the same level as "vanish canvas". Man.. been a fan since impulse and augment albums but their sound its just impeccable 👌🏻

Love in the melodic chorus there were heavies as the backing vocals. It was pronounced but very subtle. That was a nice touch. Great song.
That's something about the first third of this song that gives me Thrice vibes. Anyone else?

I know Erra because of you and they're my favourite band of all time now. Every song they've released so far are perfect and I'm really excited for the entire album - but Blue Reverie kinda reminds me of a mix between Erra and Ghost Atlas, whilst still being an Erra song - I don't know if that makes any sense but I don't knwo how else to describe it.
It's gonna be really tough to pick AOTY between this and the new Ghost Atlas album - there maybe two on top this year.
Check impulse and augment albums if you haven't done it yet. Both are masterpieces. These guys have been insanely good since they started.
