  • So finally a trip has been orginised between friends of mine to Wales Porthmadog black rock sands camping site.
    The bikes on the trip: BMW xr1000, Suzuki Bandit600, Ktm 790, triumph 1200, triumph 850 and another triumph but the 675 street triple limited edition.

    Really enjoying your videos. I'm looking at a Bandit 600 for my first 'big' bike, but worried about carb maintenance and the need to use choke, etc. How have you found it? Does it cost a lot to maintain? Cheers

      Literally these bandits are bullet proof but you have to use them because if you don’t the carbs can corrode from left in fuel that’s been sitting. So if you ever leave it for a long period of time empty the fuel bowls on bottom of the carbs.
      Apart from that’s the newer models are fuel injected so you could go with one of them. Don’t have knowledge on them though.
      Overall just do your normal services, use it often and you really don’t have to worry about anything else hope this helps
