Wow....The PHOTOS .....Would love to have the photos used in the instructions. I have a 1938 Janes Fleets of the world and photos of battleships of Japan are few.

very nice clean PE work , my compliments !! What glue do you use to adhere the wood deck to the plastic deck ?

I use jelly-like instant adhesive.
