The biggest challenge making your own Iron Man power suit - that you can actually wear! - is how much detail. Every expects it to look accurate in terms of colour and shaping, and if you’re going to get inside it latches, strapping and so on is a must but… what else? Do you motorise the faceplate? How much lighting and depth do you give the unibeam? What kind of flexibility and motion do the knees, knuckles and neck need? Well, hopefully you’ll agree I went all out on this Iron Man build. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

② XROBOTS
Former toy designer, current TH-cam maker and general robotics, electrical and mechanical engineer, I’m a fan of doing it yourself and innovation by trial and error. My channel is where I share some of my useful and not-so-useful inventions, designs and maker advice. Iron Man is my go-to cosplay, and 3D printing can solve most issues - broken bolts, missing parts, world hunger, you name it.
XRobots is the community around my content where you can get in touch, share tips and advice, and more build FAQs, schematics and designs are also available.

Brilliant!
Oh man, that is great. Great amount of detail.
Btw, how much did that printer cost, and how much money or supplies was used to print this entire assembly?
That is beautifully done. It should give an excellent lol to the armor.

Very nice! Beats the heck out of making all those individual bits by hand. :)

Awesome job dude! That 3d printer would be a great investment!
Awesome!
It's awesome
very clever. I like it! :)
You should make a metal suit of the iron monger that would be epic with the whirring parts and the whole metal exosuit
impressive work but you should consider using a slightly blueish led under the defuser instead of a yellow one.
why doesnt this have 2 million views
Nice!
HI James nice job :)
if i had a 3d printer i would print things all the time:D
잘만드시네요
It's very good
Nice work mate =]
I have actually done this!! I covered the pepakura files to work with my printer and printed out the fingers of the iron man suit. I am currently working on making my printer bigger so I can print the pieces as a whole. I do not have any videos of the process I used yet but am planning on making some soon.
Very Good
i envy you, great job!!
Amazing! Have you ever thought of making the triangular arc reactor?
awesome
excelent
Wow good
これは、素晴らしい!!
Awesome
すごすぎる!!
stan winston studios ought to employ you :D
NICE
easy, you can do it in iron or aluminium. To see how, buy David Gultons stuff, he creates armor in steel and brass and have also created an Iron Man inspired gauntlet, so all what i think is impressive about this guy, is his great Electronics Work, many do not know how to do :)
OK, James. That was really awesome! I'm so drooling over this and have been toying with the idea of getting a 3D printer myself. If you were going to get a new 3D printer, what brand/model would you get...?
