The commentary is great. Cool to hear the back story or experiences along with these amazing fish.
Thanks Mia. Yea quite alot more story to tell. Ups and downs along the way. Hope to continue sharing
There is something about those Freddies I love, yours are incredible. Love that male especially, he got some attitude. looking forward to see the fry grow. They are next on my bucket list of fish to have!!!
They're actually growing really fast. Prob ready to go out on a month or so
Beautiful species
Thank you, yes they're great fish to keep
Wow! Amazing fish, the two of my most favorite cichlids the Freddy and the tiger mota. 😁
Thank you man. Yes Parachromis are great to keep
@@thecichliddojo4245 love all the parachromis cichlids. 😊
Very cool!!! I like Feddies too! Red Tigers and Loisellie are my top Parachromis tho!
Yea I would like to keep all of the Parachromis species if the tank space frees up someday.
Matt your killin it buddy! So nice to to put a voice with your channel. Two awesome pairs buddy! Would love to have a pair of Multifasiatus ( bubble bee variant like yours ) someday. Just love the way they look.
I really appreciate the support John 🙏
A great video 👍👍🐟
Thanks bud
A great video
Thanks Rob
Really enjoyed this one matt, the parachromis multifaciatus and mesoheros festae are my most favorite cichlids. And you have both in your fish room, very envious. I had a pair of multifaciatus back along and the male was very agressive like your one.
Thanks Tommy. Yea definitely must-haves.
Great stuff Matt!!
Thanks brother
very cool, I am going to try the Jaguars too!
Awesome man. I love the Parachromis genus
Think you got it , generally depends on how aggressive the Male is , some of them just seem to want to kill everything
Yea I gotta outline my voice over. Plenty of other stuff I would have liked to add. Maybe future video
@@thecichliddojo4245 I’m starting to not pick the alpha male when I’m after a pair maybe the sub dominant next in charge they seem to be better with females ( with aggressive cichlids
That's an interesting strategy. With motas I've had smaller females destroy much larger males so I tend to want biggest male i can get. Its prob all random, more individual personality based in the end
@@thecichliddojo4245 yeah I was talking more istlanum/ Grammoode / beani , the female tuba I have give the males absolutely hell
@@liamwalters5029 I'd love to try tuba someday
Awesome fish man. Can you keep motaguensis in a cichlid community? I have a large ex losellei who is about 13-14 inch and he gets along pretty well with his tankmates.
Thanks for the kind words. Yea as far as the ex-loiselli I do think they're less aggressive, possibly more likely to work in a community. With motas I have my doubts, especially if paired up. Of course with a big enough tank probably could make it work with most species.
Yeah, I was thinking of a single male. Just looking at this video shows how crazy they can be when they pair up lol. Which do you think are more aggressive male or female?
@@subhankarkc8209 I've had multiple females destroy and kill much bigger mota males. Im always fearing for the males. But it's happened in reverse as well
Which one’s the yellow one
Multifasciatus
