I dont know why Yamaha wouldn't bring you on board, you're approach in these videos is VERY professional. Oh well, its their loss. ;)

Sounds have come a long way since the portasounds of the 80’s,!
Surprisingly good sounds! My 5 year granddaughter might be getting one of these for her birthday. I've always felt that even if a child is young, you should get them a decent instrument with good sound. Toy keyboards have horrible tones and this also has easy-to-understand buttons. I let my grandkids play with my Casio keyboard. They did something to it and it made weird electronic sounds. I had to unplug it to get it back to factory default! :) They couldn't hurt this one..

Incredible review. Your daughter is very talented and look exactly like you. I'm getting E-30 for my son, 1 y.o.-he's very musical and deserves a decent instrument to start learning music. All these features such as animal sounds and quiz will be very fun and educational!

Glad to see your introduction about this piano. I’ve just seen this in our toy store. I had a doubt to buy this for my 8 years old daughter piano for her new piano lesson as beginner. Also I have a toddler boy who’s really delighted to listen different kind of music. After I watched your video, it has been changed my mind. I decided to buy this which can be really good investment for their music eduction. I guess parents of the current generation have forgotten what should they gift to their kids so they end up giving them cellphones and tablets. I hope this video helps them understand that there are more meaningful and helpful gifts are available.

Jeremy, that's amazing! It looks like something that Casio might have made, but the sounds are different/better than what Casio might have produced, and loved the demo tune. This is a slight contrast to your last Yamaha product (SX700)!

Just ordered one of these for my grandson for Christmas by which time he will be 20 months old (hope that's not too young). Since he is already into animal sounds and giving a bit of hammer to his dad's 1968 vintage CRB Diamond 800 organ I'm hoping it will be OK.

Quite unfortunate that Yamaha would rather send these keyboards to pretty influencers to post static photos on their Instagram accounts. They are perceived to have more influence than someone who actually demos and uses the keyboard. 😢
@@JeremySee Sadly we are in the era of form over function in too many respects - that being one of them. Can I ask - do you know of any current midi keyboards with polyphonic aftertouch? I have decided I'm too old to build a clavichord and still have time left to master playing it so am thinking of trying to do things digitally (pun not intended).
Wao not bad for this little kid's keyboard. USB powered sound great . can use powerbank in case out of battery for outdoor. Animals sound sure will attracts the kids 👦🏼👧🏼 Overall the sound quality not bad for this small gadget. Thanks for sharing Jeremy😀

Even in 2020, Yamaha still launches keyboards that are not touch sensitive. Children are expressive, we don't want them to lose it. They need touch sensitivity even more than we do...
And every single kid's toy keyboard has no touch sensitivity

Even though I'm very grateful for the review the background music ducking release time is so short it borders on comedy. I just can't unhear it. The random drum, and cymbal hits, and other sounds in between the words are hilarious, and make some parts of the video very hard to watch. Just listen to 2:04 or 2:13. My son is just turned 4 and loves daft punk, deadmau5, and black eyed peas. No nursery rhymes. 🤦🏾♂️ He's always humming and creating new edm with his mouth. What would be a good buy for his age? Would a AKAI Professional MPK Mini Play or Mk3 be overkill, or is it something he can grow with?

Looks like a great choice for small kids, but unlike the bad sounding competitors I miss some simple rythm essentials like bass, snare, HiHat, Cymbal or at least some recorded rythms?

Guys can an adult learn to play in this? I take voice lesson and the theory is kind difficylt and boring. The told me to get an armonio. But i check and from60-70 euros (for toys) it went to 110 or 180 (for CT S300 ect)What do i do?
