Many content creators completely missed the boat when it comes to audio. It’s so important for engaging. There’s an old saying you can fool the eye, but you can’t fool the ear. thanks for putting out great tips and great content
Great as usual Tamara. I am still waiting and hoping for the DJi mic 2 drop though. So I can connect via bt. But this would be interesting for sure and one selling point to me is the usb-c pass through charging capability. My real question now is the iPhone footage you used. I just got my 15 pro max and haven’t had the time to play around with the camera yet. Just interested to know what you did to the footage. It looked good. ProRes? App? Color grading? Thanks Alex
Thanks, Alex. In terms of the iPhone 15 Pro Max footage, I honestly kept it simple, No ProRes Apple Log. I had used the Insta360 Flow with the Insta360 app and recorded my footage via the app, all auto settings, then I deepened the blacks a little in post and pulled the brightness down a tiny bit to give better contrast. I was also using the front-facing camera, but if you use the back the footage will be much better.
@@TamaraGabrielUK Alright, thank you! Brings hope for me as I am trying to make my future world bicycle tour as minimalistic as possible and still have good video quality. Much appreciated 😊
Does the Receiver save the gain adjustment or does it have to be dialed in with each use? How's the sound on the Transmitter with the orange mic part flipped backward and facing the chest?
There are so many good budget friendly wireless mic systems. I use Tosicam Mailada Wireless mic system. It’s priced at $120 US on Amazon. Good review Ms. Tamara. 💜💜 (What’s the news about the forming of a creator community you mentioned last year?)
Thanks! Yeah, it's hard to find a really crap budget mic to be honest. In terms of the creator community I'm aiming to get the pilot going in Feb. Just getting some things out of the way first as January is a busy one, but I'll be sending an email around in the coming weeks 😊
I have this mic and you can use the usb-c slot on the receiver to pass through power to the phone and charge it while using the mic. It works very well.
Check out the Hohem mics here, and use the link to get a discount on the official Hohem store geni.us/OriBr

When I was also using the mic I also felt like it could be more but ok in general…
Tamara - i got it wrong!! I want to plug the mini power bank and the Hohem mic 01 into my Dji pocket 2!!!!
Perfect, thank you! I was already leaning towards the Hohem gimbal. I'll be sure to use your code for both!
I appreciate it 😊
Good review Tamara

Nice, Thank you for the review. That's a nice mic that doesn't sound bad at all. For the price it's a good buy
No problem 😊
Yeah for the price it's a really decent mic.
two transmitters, two interlocutors recording in stereo?
Great information
I can’t live without my wireless mics anymore and might check this one out ❤
Yeah, it's a good quick plug-and-play option, especially for quick Stories or Shorts just shot on your phone.

I’m waiting for dji mic 2..
Tamara - is there an adaptor so that i can plug in a mini power bank AND the Hohem mic 01 receiver into my iPhone? Thank you.

Happy New Years Lov 😎
Happy new year!
Would you recommend this one over the RODE Wireless ME for a new TH-camr looking to film without a lot of complicated set up?
I think the Rode Wireless ME sounds better and it also automatically adjusts audio levels for you, so you really don’t need to do anything.
This Mick is concting DJI osmo pocket 3 this mike is work
Do you think that this microphone is good for the Osmo action 4?
I’d use the DJI Mic 2 Transmitter.
@@TamaraGabrielUK thank you:)
i use the mic with OA4😊
