Good video comparison. But the truth of the matter is if you go back to your video of the Callaway Epic Max, Max LS and Speed drivers I’ve just three years ago those drivers matched and even beat these drivers for distance and dispersion at the same 111 mph clubhead speed. And that’s three years ago. The Epic Max LS actually carried 286 yards and rolled out to 310 yards. And the Epic Speed carried 285 yards and carried out to 307. And you rated them as extremely forgiving and the dispersion chart showed it. So maybe before 2024 these drivers are OK but you can get a driver that goes a few yards further that is three years older by Callaway for a fraction of the price of these new drivers. Proving drivers have gone nowhere. We’re getting ripped off by the big prices by Titleist. No thanks.

We’ve known drivers have been done for quite some time now. It’s ALL marketing at this point. Not the TSR or the GT were even one yard better than my TSi, which was sent to the tour in 2020. Don’t buy the new stuff folks and they’ll stop charging so much for them!

Drivers may become more forgiving over time but face efficiency is limited to a COR of 0.830 max. It isn't talked about enough as manufacturers want to sell new product. If you have a driver from the last 12 years that is fitted correctly for you (shaft, ball spin, launch angle) You will literally gain zero yards on great strikes. Why people see increases is because they are currently using a club that isn't fit correctly for them. Keeping your ball spin around 2100 is a game changer. So if you are spending $800 on a driver make sure to get it fitted and adjusted including the shaft.

It seems that companies are reaching a ceiling and the achievable gains are minimal between all the companies, it's probably wiser for golfers to look at what they can personally achieve and work on their swing, swing speed and swing consistency, that would more than likely give greater gains rather than thinking a new driver each year is going to be the answer.

Great Video, drivers are so different in their marketing approach yet their results are so similar. i dont unfortunately see any reason to change drivers based on performance especially with the high price points however there is never a better feeling than spoiling ourselves with a new driver and standing on the first tee like a proud dad.

Wonder Titleist even let u test their stuff the way u treated the T. Rep? P.S. u may hit the Cobra further, but I remember a lot of the Cobra drives u hit were unfindable!

Remember when you were solid off the tee with a driver every time Rick? And your chipping was awful… we’re in upside down world!

new manufacturers Drivers released 6 months or yearly pay the tour pro's wages...
MOI.... for them that know what that means---- all drivers can only go so far, the person swinging it might hit it further than another person... lets be honest these are overpriced and no different to last years model, but the manufacturers will tell you they are the best because its a business..
get fit for a driver then practice makes you hit it far not a new driver.

I want to swing slower and be on fairways. Is there a slow swing driver for a few thousand bullshit marketing dollars?

There are 10 better drivers than a cobra, if you are looking to get a driver get a PING

Pleaee if you are not a great golfer dont buy cobra. If you have total command of your driver cobra will be great. 1 in 40 shots with the cobra will be good

I still outdrive most of my golfing friends that all have the latest drivers with my old 8.5 Ping G20.. In fact, I had a go with a friends Ping 10.5 G430 max and it went about 2 yards further than my 12 yr Ping G20… New drivers are not worth the money they make you pay, buy secondhand at a fraction of the cost…
