I like that bottom plate on the lintel- turns it into a giant wall tie right at the opening- where it's needed most.

Did you put a cavity tray over the first lintel you filmed or would that not need one because of the roof overhang

Hi Steve. If you used thermalite blocks on the inside leaf. Would you use engineering bricks under the lintel bearing?

The top surface of the lineal is angled. Should it be sloping towards the outside wall or to the inside wall. ?
You’ve installed the lineal with the slope to the outside wall. But you didn’t say or emphasis which way the slope should be set!!
Im systematically working through your video with great interest. Good work. What a team you both make. I just could not have worked like this with my father.
