Title: "Breaking the Nice Guy Syndrome: 3 Common Mistakes & How to Change"
    Summary:
In this insightful TH-cam video, the presenter addresses the common pitfalls that nice guys often encounter in their interactions with women and offers strategies to transform their approach. The three key mistakes discussed are prioritizing others' needs over their own, suppressing their masculinity, and concealing their perceived flaws.
    Key Points and Takeaways:
    1. **Putting Others First:** Nice guys tend to prioritize the needs of others to an extreme extent, believing it will make them more likable. However, this behavior can backfire, as it may come across as needy or lacking self-worth. Instead, it's crucial to recognize that your needs are just as important as those of the women you're interested in.
    2. **Embracing Masculinity:** Many nice guys suppress their masculinity due to societal pressures and misconceptions about toxic masculinity. Embracing and expressing one's masculinity is essential for attracting women, as it demonstrates confidence, decisiveness, and an ability to set boundaries.
    3. **Owning Perceived Flaws:** Instead of hiding perceived flaws, such as nervousness or quirks, nice guys should own them. Vulnerability and authenticity can be highly attractive. It's essential to move from a place of wanting to a place of courage, where you can handle your vulnerabilities and insecurities.
    4. **Finding Courage:** Overcoming the nice guy syndrome requires developing courage and staying grounded in interactions. Practice letting go of the need for validation, be aware of when you slip into wanting or seeking approval, and return to a state of courage. This approach fosters a genuine connection with women.
    5. **Progress Over Perfection:** Understand that growth and change take time. You may initially struggle with these issues, but with practice and self-awareness, you can make significant improvements in your interactions with women.
The video encourages viewers to break free from the nice guy pattern by prioritizing their own needs, embracing their masculinity, and owning their vulnerabilities, ultimately leading to more fulfilling relationships and connections.

Hi Brian. Recently I've begun peeling away the layers of the onion that is me and I'm finding some serious Nice Guy conditioning. Robert Glover's book is almost read through (twice) and his work (and your channels' as well!) resonates with me like litte else has in my life! Thanks for helping me change my life!! However, there is one issue I have trouble with. I have what's known as high-functioning autism. Fortunately my autism is so mild, that practically nobody notices it until I mention it. But I myself DO notice it, most notably when it comes to subtext in the communication. Women are waaaay more subtle than men are in their communication. I frequently do not pick up on signs that, according to the women, are more or less analogous to slapping me in the face. I have missed dozens upon dozens of opportunities with women in my life, because I missed or misinterpreted IOI's or verbal clues, both subtle and not so subtle.
Of course I should state the obvious: my autism has led to me doubting myself constantly, probably exacerbating the already present Nice Guy Syndrome even further ("That woman is showing interest in me? Yeah, right... I must be not seeing it correctly" - things like that).
How can someone like me (with light autism) sharpen the required senses and social intuition, that are simply not as well put-together as they are with "normal" people?

Great question, Ernst. I will defer this question to Brian. I am thinking he can better answer this than me because of his experience level of working with men with a variety of needs.

Can you do a video on shame and guilt. I find the lowest emotion that’s discussed on here is apathy and shame only really comes up when talking about sexual shame but what about general shame and guilt? I feel it’s holding guys back even more than apathy, grief and fear. Thanks

Hi Reiss, all events have been cancelled this year. You can still purchase various online courses/content but for now all regular classes and events have been cancelled. I am not sure if something similar to the Experience Workshop will be offered through TrueCourage; however, I am thinking not.

    Does mindfulness destroy spontaneous behavior?
I feel that to be mindful I should practice being aware of myself, but this lead me to pay attention to my thinking, my walking, my conversations etc. and I feel like I'm second guessing myself constantly.
    What is wrong with this?

    • @TheFearlessMan
      @TheFearlessMan  ปีที่แล้ว

Consider reading "The Power of Now" by Eckart Tolle. It covers these questions (and more) thoroughly.
Being mindful doesn't destroy spontaneous behavior. Being controlled by your mind versus being the watcher of your mind, might create spontaneous behavior but I would put it on the more erratic side.
Being the watcher of your mind takes practice, as this is not normal for most people. I also have a tendency at times to be more attached with my thinking when I am simply trying to become aware of my thinking. Try focusing on your breath, and then your body more. This should help.

Can you do a video on masturbation and porn? I use to constantly escape feeling by masturbating to feel better. If possible, could you also cover NoFap as well? Is there a correlation between not masturbating and natural turn on?
