Oh, I just noticed, the way you connect the rooms will remove part of their features. On the captains quarters, if you have the ladder elsewhere (or no ladder), the back of the room has a really nice table, chairs, and command console setup. I have it on the back of my ship with a window and it looks great. Just an FYI. Some of what we see here is incomplete because of how the rooms connect. Super helpful video nonetheless!
Yeah in the description I mention it. Ladders seem to be less intrusive than side doors, hence why I tried stacking as much as possible. I didn't rule out that ladders would remove some props, but considering some of the HABs I've seen had a ladder drop right infront of a chair or something equivalent, I was under the impression they had the least amount of interference with object placement.
So, from what I’ve gathered taiyo is just a reskinned hopetech, and stroud is reskinned deimos?? and nova is the only one that is completely unique? wish they all looked apart from each other. But that’s where mods come in😎
I'd argue Nova is distinct because lore wise they were the original ship builders from centuries ago. My other thought is it's probably like fighter jet design - at a certain point humans dial down on the peak optimal design and everybody just makes derivatives. Like for stealth fighters you have the US F-22, Korean KF-21, Turkish TF-X, Russian Su-75, Japanese X-2, and Chinese FC-31 all looking strikingly similar to each other.
@@CrazyRonn_Gaming sounds like an excuse for reskins lmao.. even if it makes sense. There’s no reason Bethesda couldn’t have made 2 more unique interior designs given their creative genius. but it’s all good, mods will take care of this im sure and we’ll have plenty new interior designs
Wasn't necessarily defending Bethesda, I too was let down by the lack of real variety. But hopefully when the GECK or whatever is released we can get not only actually interesting HABs, but actual structures and build forms that actually go horizontal (port to starboard) and not just mostly fore to aft parts. So much effort to fake something as simple as wings, it's ridiculous.
@CrazyRonnGaming yea I'm trying to track down weird odds n ends like.... Landing gear you got typical booster legs like starter ship, diemos had a similar but simpler version, I've seen box pods with 4 strut gears, and red mile had a single gear with rockets on bottom but my main ship a captured crimson fleet raven had a front gear that had a curved "cowling" and was a single gear.....
@CrazyRonnGaming yea hopefully someone can make a comprehensive list...... I've even had some discovered settlements offer parts I hadn't seen yet, though that's rare usually they've got crap....but it makes you wonder
Got around to the bigger HABs

thank god ive been looking for this ive wasted so much money trying to find what interiors work best together. you saved me so much time and money.
My favorite manufacturer
Perfect man I was looking for stuff like this thanks
Taiyo has the best cockpits by far
So, hopetech and Taiyo are reskins. Hopetech is black, taiyo is white
Taiyo is much much better looking outside.
They could at least give the captain's quarters different plushies🙄

@@CrazyRonn_Gamingyes! I really want to build a castle ship, but half of it's probably just gunna be 1:1s with structural elements for facades.
Thank you so much for this! How do you get the captains quaters? I can never seem to find one on the vendor.
No idea? It's usually part of the set of 8 or so variants per HAB. Seems odd to have just one version absent.
Yeah, it is supposed to be the same hab, not another separate one.
@@Matshiro Whoops I didn't see that there were multiple types by ussing the arrows:)
Does Dogstar have a primary location for parts? Theres alot of niche companies ive seen
It might? I only focused on the primary Manufacturers (i.e. HABs)

There's a lot of weird niche bits n bobs hidden around
I feel like you can't get some parts unless you buy the ship and work around the desired parts :/

It's honestly a shame Taiyo's armory has no manequins.
Bad to make room for the mini-brig.
Does Taiyo have the small hallway module?
Yeah I think they're called "1x1 Fuselage" but I'm pretty sure they're just a normal 1x1 on the inside but with a different shaped exterior
That cockpit is exceptional, but the rest is meh... Taiyo seems like an overhyped brand, too bad.
HopeTech but whiter lol
Taiyo looks so bland on the inside
