I had indicated to Mark that he might need stronger magnets in part to solve this “overswing” issue so I have one coming with stronger magnets. This definitely is not the only slider with the overswing issue…my SGS Rapt in SS has the same issue….
@@ArnieHorta yeah it’s not wholly unique to his sliders. Other makers have the same issue but that doesn’t make it right. It should still function properly in use. I’ll be curious to hear what you think of the stronger magnet set up. Keep me updated!
@@Kerrcats I’m sure if you were a knife person and the inlay material matched the knife you’d be all in. I could see that being a big selling point of it
@@ArnieHorta yeah he does and they’re also beautiful pieces. I think I’d like to try one of those. He just said that they aren’t really his style. He prefers to make the ones with inlays that are more premium which i can get. He has another that is a more conventionally rectangular slider. I wonder if that might also help the overswing
@@FidgetFocusedI have one of his more rectangular sliders. It doesn’t overswing but also it doesn’t square. He made them longer to correct the spacing and make it square. Trade one issue for another….
Always watching......
I just got mine yesterday and while i do enjoy it, he did kind of a mess with the glueing. Im trying so hard to not let it trigger my ocd but man lol.
@@rebekahmergerson8507 it’s not a bad piece over all but it could use just a few more tweaks I think

They make sliders without the inlay in that range.

@ I think I might take that over the overswing
