An absolute thrill to watch. Respect to all your mud waders and soaked camera folks. Would be scared shitless to attempt anything like this without a winch. And yes this Suzzuki is a proof that most 4x4s are good for a spring-rain-sprinkled paved city road and then there a few designed for anything you through at them. Keep up the great work guys!
Watched this vid a few times now. Amazing, all your vids show the true capability's of Land Rover, but this one has got to be the best. Great driving, power just at the right time, and respect for both your vehicles and the terrain. Top notch guys. Thanks Adam fellow land rover/off road enthusiast from the uk
@thewebful Hey George, There are a few holes that the D4 struggles through that I had to pull myself and the Zook through - was certainly a testament to the capabilities of the RRS. Having a bit of a break over xmas but back to the mud and the blood in the new year with lots of treks planned including Cape York! Have a great Chrissy
That RANGE ROVER SPORT is one strong SUV mate, not only pulled him self out of the mud with the help of a good off road driver but pulled with îmi that little Suzuky Vitara, amaizing!!
@landrovertractorboat Hey adam. The D4 is running the new Cooper ST Maxx, which are a very agressive A/T. In fact they could be described as a mild MT. I'm now running a set of 265/75/17 Mickey Thompson MTZ's. Wicked traction in the mud but dig too deep in the sand. Have a great Xmas!
Mate....you are simple the best!! I´m in England now with the family, I want to know....this great video is my chistmas present!!! Thak´s Black Betty!!! And Merry Christmas from UK!!!
@bajaman64 In the RRS I generally run 20 to 24psi for those kind of conditions. While you're only seeing the highlights in this vid, you have to remember that a lot of the sections in between are forestry roads and you want to be able to get along those at a reasonable pace. Am looking at a set of internal beadlocks at the moment that will let me run much lower pressures.
Good to see the discos & rangie in there element. I have had numerous discos & often make the trip up the tops. Would love to know where this trail is? I have found similar that look like this after alot of rain. So if you can recall the location or trail name i would love to follow your tracks. Cheers
@breakfree4x4 It was really going to be just a christmas party day with a short trundle in the morning. I think that knowing the tracks were so close got the better of us ;-) The Zook actually did surprisingly well given it is stock with only road rubber on it. Certainly put the RRS to the test!
really enjoyed this vid love watching you guys shame the vitara didn't have mud tyres on it would of had some fun too. great job guys keep the videos coming.
Wow that is a lot of mud. And deep ruts on top of that. Awesome to see the D2 tackle everything, and even get in some pulling - does that one have the CDL? LR4 was a good comparison going right after it - it looks pretty impressive.
@Aussiejeepnut After a couple of mudholes, we had a pretty good idea of what was posible and what wasn't. Particularly given we had two vehicles go through ahead. If they struggled (or bottomed out) we knew the Zook would get stuck.
It is good to see a range rover doing exactly what it was built to do excellent video extreme mud bath it will emphasise to people here in Englandthat Land Rover is the right Choice of vehicle to have and to hold on to from Glenn Laskey Cornwall England
Awesome video.the mud looks like parts of africa.i have a D1 v8 and it seems that these cars are very capable. i am looking at a RRS tdv8, i presume that yours is the same with 3.6l engine?
+colin ashby Ours is only the base TDV6 mate - they only sold the TDV*'s here for a few years and discontinued the format unfortunately. They are a beast.
well if the tdv6 was good then the tdv8 i want to get should be awesome. i will also put on the same rims you have. but i think the smallest i will be able to go is 19"
I read somewhere on another video of yours that you raised the suspension to max. I have just bought a RR TD6 L322 with the BMW 3.0l engine. My question is, can you tell me how much punishment the air suspension has taken and what problems at what mileage you have. I am just trying to gauge how reliable they are in the mud and dust it is.
I bought one of those new in '03 and ran it as a luxury 4WD tour vehicle for nearly 300,000km in the Blue Mountains, Hunter and Barringtons bush with premium international travellers. Never missed a beat!
I am absolutely loving mine. I think the air suspension and electronics give less hassles in hot countries. anyway , great car, if i was able to spend more time in oz with my family , then i would get an L322 and keep it there for my holiday car.
It felt a bit like that pete. Black Betty copped a pizzling that day. It was hard enough getting through some of the bog holes running solo let alone dragging the zuke through behind me.
How is the size of the tires of the LR4? This car have some different set up of the original suspension ?? Great video this one and the others , cheers matte
I'm in love with that range rover sport 😻 What a machine!! I was wondering what engine it is?? I'm planning to get one 2008, and there is two options, Diesel 3.6 V8 automatic and Gasoline HSE 4.4 automatic too.... and don't know which one is better.
@Colin Ashby We are seeing the N-parks locking us out of areas all the time.. The tracks are already closed in Barrington during the winter to prevent damage. This sort of thing will just see them closed more often. Although these guys are not driving through the bush you would agree wherever you see a mud hole you will also see tracks through the bush around it. Im not anti 4x4 in fact my one and only car is a TD5 Defender.
Admit it: you only brought the Vitara to show how badass the Rovers are, capable of going through all this with a little bit of extra weight dragging behind it ;)
+haddadbj lots of love and tender care always keeps them in tip top shape but it's definitely a lot of work after trips of this nature. We generally give the car a good coating of Lannox on the underbody which helps make it easier to remove all the crud.
@JamieOGilmore The xmas trundle could have turned out to be a very early morning. Especially if the final track we took at 7.30pm back to civilization was as overgrown and boggy as the others. Maybe KevDrover should check track conditions before offering shortcut suggestion. LOL
What is the point of taking a Suzuki on a run like that. They are OK on grass field at a summer event. This really goes to show how awesome the Range Rover is and lugging the baby around too :-)
Why Would Anyone Take A Suzuki Vitara Thru Mud Tracks Like That , ? And Espect Everyone To Tow Them Thru The Mud & Water, I Tell U What I Wouldnt Be Using My Range Rover , To Drag Them Everywhere. Mite As Well Off Took A Car.
@minibloodhound Well I was going to say that the new D4 owner was still taking it too easy on his cherished rig and that event the worlds most sophisticated traction system couldn't make up for a lack of right foot go hard but thought better of it ;-)
TIP 1) Get some training EIther join an experienced 4WD Club that run formal training days or go and actually see the professional driver trainers. It's amazing how much bad information is out there. technique and proper procedures will keep you and your vehicle safe. There are too many cowboys out there taking too many risks and we have seen this result in too many lives lost.
Proper Offroading with Proper Vehicles!! Great to see and even better to watch because there was no thumping inappropriate music.
An absolute thrill to watch. Respect to all your mud waders and soaked camera folks. Would be scared shitless to attempt anything like this without a winch. Rangie did an awesome job dragging that zuk around. Tc was working overtime. Thanks for the vid.
Awesome vehicles, awesome drivers, awesome camera man. thank you for the spirit and courage.
+thomas pangestu glad you enjoyed it mate. This one was certainly an epic Misadventure.
Tyres are 265/75/17 Mickey Thompsons.
Due to air suspension, the only lift available is via the dial up offroad setting which provides a 50mm lift.
17 won’t fit on mine have 18 s on p38 and won’t fit on the rrs sport ?
@thewebful Hey George,
There are a few holes that the D4 struggles through that I had to pull myself and the Zook through - was certainly a testament to the capabilities of the RRS.
Having a bit of a break over xmas but back to the mud and the blood in the new year with lots of treks planned including Cape York!
Have a great Chrissy
That Suzuki looks like a pet behind the master lmao!!
I always underestimated the RR Sport thought it was a show off car, but to do this track on its own is hard enough that RR done it pulling another car
That RANGE ROVER SPORT is one strong SUV mate, not only pulled him self out of the mud with the help of a good off road driver but pulled with îmi that little Suzuky Vitara, amaizing!!
Thx Eddie
Haha love your video , rang rover sport with his son (suzuki) lol
@landrovertractorboat Hey adam.
The D4 is running the new Cooper ST Maxx, which are a very agressive A/T. In fact they could be described as a mild MT.

Nice to see someone actually using a new Range Rover, well done!
Mate....you are simple the best!! I´m in England now with the family, I want to know....this great video is my chistmas present!!!
Thak´s Black Betty!!!
And Merry Christmas from UK!!!
@pilebaina You notice it in the way the TC responds in serious mud. it does make a difference.
@MARR27779 Thx buddy. Glad you enjoyed it. Have a great Chrisy. I heard that it is unseasonably warm in England right now - have a great trip!
Hi guys! Absolutely love Land Rovers! Could you please share the model of front and rear bumpers model installed on LR4? Looks very nice and solid 👌
@bajaman64 In the RRS I generally run 20 to 24psi for those kind of conditions. looks like fun!!!!!!! these videos make me love my Range Rover HSE even MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍
Gezzzzz Jamie,
What were thinking when you took that vitara in there. Or was it a test exercise? Lol. Great vid mate
Great Video!
Nice Tracks - good Driver - Great Camera!
Greethings from Germany...
+Charly Weber Thx Charly. Glad you're getting a kick out of the vids!
265/75/17's on the LR4. All original suspension with a LLams height controller installed to control the lift.
Good to see the discos & rangie in there element. I have had numerous discos & often make the trip up the tops. Would love to know where this trail is? Thanks, LR's sound soo good going through stuff. Great video.
Another nice vid. I am guessing the Range Rover sport and the disco both have front and rear lockers?
Thx. Glad you enjoyed the footage. Neither the Disco or the RRS have lockers and are stock standard.
This is the video to show Land Rover skeptics.
It's one of the reasons we started the channel Adam ;)
Somehow skeptics never find these videos on youtube LOL
@@Misadventure4WD Love your channel bro, I bought a non running 198k 08 LR3 V8 like 9 month ago, and can't be happier :)
fantastic vid mate!!! poor little suzuki was well out of its depth there eh?
@GGMartin, they are Performance Alloy 17 inch rims sourced from Adelaide, Australia. Load rated at 1400kg wgich is a lot more than tahe standard rims!
It is good to see a range rover doing exactly what it was built to do excellent video extreme mud bath it will emphasise to people here in Englandthat Land Rover is the right Choice of vehicle to have and to hold on to from Glenn Laskey Cornwall England
awesome stuff. rrs did brilliantly, even when towing the suzuki.
Rain, water, mud and Land Rover
I would like to know more about that front bumper add on for the RRS
It's a custom bit of kit only available from Land Rover. Cheaper to import it from UK rather than purchase through LRAustralia.
In my element here, great video!!!
You guys are awesome..... The Best 4x4 off road videos I have seen, with the newest off road vehicles . This is pure entertainment !!!!
Glad you're enjoying it Danushka. We love making them ;-)
this is aweasom video.! could any other brand of cars do the same...!??
thanks anyway for all in this video....

always good videos from u guys, cheers
You should rename this video to " spent the day skull dragging a suzuki"
It felt a bit like that pete. Black Betty copped a pizzling that day. It was hard enough getting through some of the bog holes running solo let alone dragging the zuke through behind me.
I hope he was the one chopping the wood
How is the size of the tires of the LR4? This car have some different set up of the original suspension ?? Great video this one and the others , cheers matte
What are the wheel tyre and suspension specs for the TDV8 Sport? Love the vids :) Cheers mate
I'm in love with that range rover sport 😻 What a machine!! I was wondering what engine it is?? I'm planning to get one 2008, and there is two options, Diesel 3.6 V8 automatic and Gasoline HSE 4.4 automatic too.... and don't know which one is better.
This is the 2.7L Diesel Elias.
It definitely wasn't set up for that kind of adventure. Thought it was going to pull the arse end out of my RRS.
Good the see the Team Rover recovery Suzuki.
That was not a fun day for us. The RRS had to work it's arse off.
great skills! but are the rangies reliable? - what is your experience?
i enjoyed your video..!! thank u
What happened to the Discovery 4 in the last bit of the video?
The bastard sodded off and went home early leaving us to have all the fun ;)
Great video! Where did you purchase your rear bumper for the LR4?
Josiah Waggoner It's a Kaymar rear bar from Kaymar Auto in Australia. kaymar dot com dot au
No wonder we are getting locked out of tracks. While it may be fun , the amount of trail damage is huge.
@Colin Ashby We are seeing the N-parks locking us out of areas all the time.. The tracks are already closed in Barrington during the winter to prevent damage. 😂
Where is this „road“? I would like to test my own Range Rover Sport L320 there...
I'm assuming somewhere on the eastern Australian coast
Barrington Tops National Park - NSW
great video thanks for posting it
Great vidieo as always mate. What tyres are on the D4 and have you still got coopers on your sport. Thanks Adam
The guy in the slightly old range was driving a hotel room through the mud in the jungle...
Who tf thought it was a good idea to bring the Suzuki?...
I have a question.
do you have any tips for people that want to start offroading?
Range rovers did an awesome job
Maaaate, who bloody invited the Vitara? 🤣🤣
🤣🤣
Is the range rover lifted or are the bags just maxed out?
Ian Mcdowell maxed out mate. Llams height adjustment kit takes it to full stretch.
Awesome, thanks man. I would be afraid a spring conversion would negatively affect the ride quality. This one seems perfectly capable as is. Love it.
What size wheels are the two D4 equipped with?
Nice video. What wheels have D4?Many thanks.
love it! sucks for the guy towing the suzuki...must be the poor friend in the group
it sucked big ones Rob ;)
What roof rack does the newer disco have?
I'm sorry, but the D4 struggled?
what kinda servicing did these cars need after this trip?
+haddadbj lots of love and tender care always keeps them in tip top shape but it's definitely a lot of work after trips of this nature. We generally give the car a good coating of Lannox on the underbody which helps make it easier to remove all the crud.
Yay for no music!
@JamieOGilmore The xmas trundle could have turned out to be a very early morning. Especially if the final track we took at 7.30pm back to civilization was as overgrown and boggy as the others. Maybe KevDrover should check track conditions before offering shortcut suggestion. LOL

I can't read what you sed,but am sure you had a point
with videos like these, I do miss the Camel Trophy.
@minibloodhound Ok, You know if I can to but it in internet (web shop)? Thanks
An extremely annoying choice of transitions, otherwise good stuff.
@KevDrover Where's the fun in that?
Poor Suzuki trying to keep up with the big boys lmao
I suspect one started to pooh ones pants when the rains came. Not a good situation to be in. Good job though.
Range Rover it's a Beast very Nice Cherokees o_0 jajajaja tnks
Vitara had no business being there.
100% correct Brad
What is the point of taking a Suzuki on a run like that. They are OK on grass field at a summer event. This really goes to show how awesome the Range Rover is and lugging the baby around too :-)
it wasn't raining when we started the day trek. Turned nasty around lunch and got progressively worse all day.
Poor zuke. It embarrassed itself.
alright.. who convinced the vitara to tag along? hahahaha..
And we shall never speak of it again ;)
Why Would Anyone Take A Suzuki Vitara Thru Mud Tracks Like That , ? And Espect Everyone To Tow Them Thru The Mud & Water, I Tell U What I Wouldnt Be Using My Range Rover , To Drag Them Everywhere. Mite As Well Off Took A Car.
You cant beat a Rover V8 on an Auto. Nor the sound of transmission wind up.
@minibloodhound Well I was going to say that the new D4 owner was still taking it too easy on his cherished rig and that event the worlds most sophisticated traction system couldn't make up for a lack of right foot go hard but thought better of it ;-)
Very im having discovery 3 is my favourite car
This suzuki is very weak!! Kkkkkkkkkkkk! Very good!
TIP 1) Get some training

what is suzuki doing there? Such a liability!
