The roof rack is made by Rhino Rack and is an all aluminium lightweight option for the RRS. The new version now coms with removable sides so you have the option of running a flat rack or just side rails as opposed to the full basket I have on mine.
definitely on the agenda mate. After market version are ridiculously expensive though. Think I should be able to get a set made up myself with the help of a fabrication friend for about $600.
Great video,I,m a owner of a D3 very proud of my land rover. Next year I´ll have to live in Australia becouse of my wife´s job. I hope to enyoy of your country in a land rover.
@jonny1280 Thanks mate. I think that's what Landy's are all about but I'm not so sure that Land Rover are keen on positioning themselves as really hard core 4wd anymore given the direction of the new defender and some of the stupid design ideas like limited wheel options for Discovery and Sport.
Thank you very much for your reply! Really liked how it looks. I want to put this on my discovery 3. Tell me what the size of the basket you have installed?
Disco's have solid axle's front and rear and had an air bag suspension from the factory. Most people who offroad them and lift them swap out to standard shocks/coils.
I'm generally a team Toyota man, but I now have new found respect for the Land Rovers!! I always knew they were capable though. On a side note I'm really impressed and like your responsible wheel driving techniques and style. A lot of morons out there ruining it for us all can learn from this channel!! End of semi runt...
I noticed on the Landrover (SR-2210) with the ARB Bullbar it has headlight washers fitted in the bar. Was this an after market fitment or did ARB do at the time of fitting? Are they the original washers from the bumper?
@minibloodhound you're the only bloke I know with a picture of his car in his wallet in stead of his family ;-) (and yes - it is a bloddy nice bit of kit).
Very first obstacle showing why skinny tires suck. Why do ones would have had more track and not been so risky to slide in. When I say wider it doesn't mean 12.5" but more like 11-11.5. I found it to be true that a medium wider Tire can do anything a skinny can do but a skinny can't do anything the other one can do at least as well so why take a skinny when it has limitations but the why doesn't? That's why you never see extremely successful Jeep Wranglers on lockers with skinnies because I don't do as well. But I think people are obsessed with this traditional thought that skinny is better cuz it's old school and that a skinnier area gives more pressure to the ground but that's only to an extent it also just makes it want to dig into the ground more instead of pushing over the surface and digging just the right amount like 11 to 115 width. Take for example a dirt bike or an ATV and you look how wide their tires are compared to how much they weigh and you see that skinnies shouldn't even be on a 5,000 lb SUV. Yeah it'll make it but not as good
really proud to see there are others here in Aus using thier Land rovers the way thier meant to... out bush and off road. Good job guys
Traction control on that newer disco seems effective - good tire no doubt making a big difference

Only 18" rim on D3 , 'cause brake disk 17" is for D3

No it comes with the arb bumper you just reconnect the existing fluid lines to the the new bumper
