The greatest survival horror game series ever made imo! Just classic!!! Anytime i hear a siren going off or see fog i always think silent hill!
Not that strong as a survival horror game, Its The psychological aspect that sets it apart. Specifically in 2

Unlike other videogames OST's, all SH sountracks represent different emotions only using sounds, are just awesome themes, everyone with diferent symbolism, when you hear them you just feel the song into your mind, they are all an excellent themes for giving an ambient to the games, I don't even imagine a SH game without those awesome themes, they even are one of the important parts of the game

If people think Akira Yamaoka’s a weird choice for composer of the upcoming Cyberpunk anime, then they haven’t seen this wonderful playlist of his tracks to actually give you a taste of what his tracks will actually be able to bring to the table with the upcoming Cyberpunk anime in depicting emotion with the soundtrack.
Just listen to those guitar riffs while piecing how it syncs so well with the tone of rock Akira Yamaoka jams out, and I can perfectly see how it can portray emotion in the upcoming Cyberpunk anime. Don’t just assume a great composer and sound director from a horror series would not exactly fit in if you’ve not actually seen his portfolio of tunes.
What an incredible composer, this is a masterpiece, I think Room of Angels is my favorite soundtrack
