That song Tears of... makes mine rise to my eyes before rolling down my cheeks.
Reminds me of that time, so happy time, when I was playing SH with my best friend who we had so similar tastes in video games, movies, themes, and genres. Life made us split apart for no particular reason. I miss that time. I'm 42 now. Time flies, my Dad passed away and rests in his grave for one entire year now, alongside his wife, my stepmother, who left him something like two years before.
And only a few months ago, that was my stepfather's turn. Only my mother is still there now. I always thought that getting old is, among other things, losing the ones you love, those near whom you grew up.
Saw like that, I took a big old strike these last three years. Listening to Silent Hill OSTs makes me feel again that time when they were all here. Peace on you all, reading this, and the others too. Be happy to feel that you're still alive.
I understand how music can bring back powerful memories and emotions. Cherish those happy moments you had with your best friend and hold onto them. It's never easy to lose loved ones, but they will always be with you in your heart and memories. Take comfort in the fact that you had the opportunity to know and love them. One of my all time favorites is "Letter - From the Lost Days". I just love to hear this song while driving in the rain at night. Gets you on a different level.

Oh wow... what sort of masterpiece that i stumble Upon, it's only 20 seconds and immediately got chills.
I love "I want love" so much and that image of Heather slumped over in the wheelchair and being carted off by a nurse monster is a powerful one.
I can't tell u how bummed I was when the original video was gone. I'm very happy u came back and put up another version, been watching the original for years and years. Glad u came back with a new one, and in a timely manner! Akira forever!!!
This video was the first time I heard the “Room of Angel” song because at the time I hadn’t played Silent Hill 4 yet. At first I didn’t really get it, but now I do. I don’t want to spoil anything, so I won’t say why, but after playing through that game I understand the meaning behind the song… That shit is DARK.

Never played any Silent Hill game. Started listening to the soundtrack from the first four games recently and I can say my two fav songs are definitely "The day of night" and "Never forgive me, never forget me".
Amazing playlist of the most wonderful and disturbing game that exists/will exist.
But "Letter - From The Lost Days" has a very special place in my heart. ♥

Big fan of the soundtracks and this is a solid list. I think adding Theme of Laura as the opening is a great introduction to SH in general (although the original intro will always be amazing)

In my restless dreams, I see a possibility for a remade SH trilogy that honors the franchise for what it is. The score is incredible, the stories were moving and haunting and the gameplay was terrifying but filled with substance and clues that elevated the town's horror and added to the main plots. The voice acting was not always great and we have come along way since the ps1 and 2. They promised to take us back there, but they gave us the shitty hd collection. How sad.
Why not a remade QUADrilogy?! Silent Hill 4 was great! Maybe not as good as the first three, but it’s still really good in its own way! I felt like I could really relate to Henry when I played through that game since I (along with everyone else) was locked in my house for several months, unable to leave due to quarantine. So when I played through the game and saw Henry’s loneliness and depression being isolated from the world, I could really relate to that.
TBH if any one game in the series deserves a true remake more than the others, it would be 4, just cuz all the others still hold up today. That being said, yea all four being given the right treatment would be amazing.
