Ben seems like a party person, the excitement in his voice is just beyond measure!
These developers last game's enemy was completely inspired by the Babadook, and now this game's enemy is completely inspired by Art The Clown from the Terrifier series.

The enemies might be "completely inspired" but the whole game isn't. The games aren't just the enemies either, this one had quite neat service mechanics that where executed pretty well imo

All inspired by pong. All music is inspired by the first cave man that banged rocks together. Its how we advance, inspired by what came before.
Fun demo with lots going on. The male voice acting was hilarious--poor ol' Phil got short of breath just _talking._ And the "hobo" was amazingly light on his feet. Although the antagonist felt derivative, you can't go wrong with a creepy clown/jester as an enemy, imo. Looking forward to watching the full game. 👍

I think in true 80's slasher style, the sole survivor will be the young lady , its possible Ben will srvive late into the game, to help our Heroine, but will eventually cop it, before the end. She's gonna be sole survivor, thats the name of the game, I think. Its a lovely looking game, the colours, atmosphere, and service elements of the game are great. Voice acting is a bit naff, it needs a bit of a change up there, imo, but the game is really promising. Looking forward to its full release. Your commentary is as on point as ever Chris. The first horror I witnessed was the ladie's room only having TWO stalls.
The moment I saw the games demo screen I was instantly reminded of the Ghastly Grinner from Are You Afraid Of The Dark series.

This is just how many horror references can we fit here the game starting with Nosferatu and ending with art the clown. From oldest to newest.

Is it just me. But I love old black and white movies. House on haunted hill with Vincent Price is one of my favorite Horror movies 🥰🥰🥰 love your channel and videos. This looks like a great game. Can’t wait for the whole thing to come out. I love the voice acting in this game love Ben’s voice

Saw the timestamp, got disappointed.... Wished the game was longer. Then at the end, realized this was just the demo. That means we might get to play as literally everyone else we saw in the demo. Not just Nika and Ben. Oh, how awsome would it be if we get to play as the cat! 😮 🐈 ❤

The clown/Jester reminds me of the one from Terrifier a little bit, especially the muteness and face makeup.
Definitely strong Art the Clown vibes, and that's great in my book. Plus, Tainted Pact games are usually pretty good. Can't wait for the full version of this one!

I actually watched Nosferatu in the cinema when Shadow of the Vampire came out! They did a single showing, but forgot to add the atmospheric piano music, so it was an interesting experience.

it does still looks like it'll be just another walking simulator where we don't get to choose our actions which sucks
because that's like 98% of indie horror games these days sigh
a seemingly omniscient villain and really stupid interior/exterior design like the stupid hallways that make no sense and whatever the fuck was going on in the labyrinth out back

This game is incredibly good. I love how it sets up the story and all the characters and you're not immediately dropped into some scary setting.

Also, why does the men’s toilet have 3 stalls and 3 urinals but the women’s only has 2 stalls? 😆🤭

$7 back in 1988 for a movie ticket is NUTS. It was was about $2 - $2.50 where I live and you could keep sitting in there all day to watch the movie over and over again

Idk what the specific genre would be called but I love horror games that are just boring mundane life simulator until the dramatic horrors show up. Also really like that the killer here is just Art the Clown with a different hat on

It’s pretty novel to play a horror game from multiple POVs as the characters get taken down one by one. Don’t think it’s the first to execute this concept, but the first one (that I can recall, at least) where the game is played from the first-person PoV.
Man, this game has serious Terrifier vibes going on. Art the Clown has to be an inspiration.
The intro hit it hard, though. I also spend the Christmas week working more shifts as the boss on vacation

I'm impressed with the amount of options the theatre offered for snacks lol. I'm excited to see the actual game of this. It was really good! I like that you play as different characters and from different POVs. At least now we, uh, know where that bloody thing the killer left in the box office came from. Yuck.

Oh man, if it's from the dev who did the Mr. Tops game, I'm positive this will be a fun game to go through! Especially with the character switching. It leaves you wondering who will survive and who won't, and if you can do anything for that. I personally suspect it will be a bit on the rails for character deaths, but it'd be incredible if it were more nuanced than that. Either way, it'll be a great experience.
Although I am laughing. You can definitely tell what sort of spooky antagonists the dev likes the most with Mr. Tops and this jester. XD
Right at the end, the Mad Jester reminded me of Captain Spaulding.
