Wow...this is so helpful. Thumbs up. just be careful with the spacing between your words eg. Ndi anifuna should be like Ndi a ni funa. But jealous down u khou thusa vhanzhi nwana wa hayani. Kha ise phanda nga u rali
Ridics unfortunately I haven't come across books. I've noticed some websites are starting to include Tshivenda as one of the languages they translate....you can try Google. visit your local library and hopefully the language section will have something you can use
Remember Venda people inhabit the Limpopo region which boarders our very own country Zimbabwe to the north hence the linguistic similarities. I am certain before the boarders were put up we were all one people.
Shona and Venda are closely related like most Bantu languages from their family. The people who occupied the Great Zimbabwe likely came from south of the Limpopo. Kalanga and Nambya are probably the best hybrid between Shona and Venda.

Small correction , Tondani means “bless” , not “trust”
Yeah
This language seems to be cool.

Some of the words sound like Shona words.
Remember Venda people inhabit the Limpopo region which boarders our very own country Zimbabwe to the north hence the linguistic similarities. I am certain before the boarders were put up we were all one people.
I've actually been quite interested in learning Shona. I here alot of similarities too when people speak. Its incredible!
Shona and Venda are closely related like most Bantu languages from their family. The people who occupied the Great Zimbabwe likely came from south of the Limpopo. Kalanga and Nambya are probably the best hybrid between Shona and Venda.
