    I love how Pat can sound like he is going off on a random story but eventually reaches a point where that story makes a great point that relates to the original conversation. The man is impressive.

      He's likely read a lot of Plato & other dialectic(conversational) philosophy, Socrates was always Plato's main character & he'd use a seemingly meandering story with logical or moral questions attached to reach a broad conclusion.

    Great discussion. I'm proud of my brothers of Assyria. George, keep striving with faith, humility, strength and optimism. Give your mother and father a hug and kiss for me. You make me proud by the way you talk about them. From one sinner to another, tone down the swearing on the podcast. Especially, that your platform has a lot of faith based, reflection. Pat, great conversation. Your story is the definition of the American Dream! Be grateful for the blessings you have and always keep the wisdom of Yeshua first. Do not let your wealth be your God and item of worship. Don't forget about your brothers and sisters of humanity. Not just your siblings of Assyria and this evil, idolatrous world. Your wealth and platform can bring a lot of joy to the persecuted and the meek. Use your blessings as a blanket for the ones that shiver. God bless in Jesus' name.

      The rant about wanting god in school is honestly hilarious, Jefferson didn’t put in all that work for these idiots to tear it down. If they’re ok with religions coming into schools thats great because it has to be equal and ALL religions taught, from Islam to satanism to paganism it’ll all be taught, and what we see when you actually teach how religions developed in a historical manner, people turn atheist and don’t feel the need to push their version of fictional ‘metaphorical’ at best interpretation books on our kids.

      What’s awesome is he will be one of the wisest men and one of the best warriors out there because he’s talking to some of the wisest men and some of the best warriors of today! And I’m all in for it. Another thing, he’s allowing US to have the same experience he is and learn the things he is, as well learning what he knows and he values to determine for ourselves, is this good. I love it.

And, I believe this particular episode with pat is one of the most influential episodes for me. I will work harder than ever before to reach my goals, and to become a better person. Such as you three.

    George man … proud of what you are putting out in our world. This is your moment dude. “ They took pray to prey.” Amazing to see a different cultured Christian share his prospective. We need more of this in the world. Pat mentioning his 20s battling faith. The turning point for me was, knowing I know nothing and I drove myself into depression trying to understand the unexplainable. Steve Furtick was someone that helped me find hope in my faith!!! Not enough conversation like this my guy. Inspiring to see your growth.

    Man I'm so proud of you George! I would occasionally see random clips of you and you always carried yourself with respect, modesty, kept true to your religious beliefs! I'm a Muslim man and you're my brother. Congratulations on breaking free from the Paul Brothers and going on your own. God favors his soldiers that live true. Now I don't know you personally but from what I've seen you've never broken from your stance with God, morals and values.

    • @Matt-jl8xf
      @Matt-jl8xf ปีที่แล้ว

      Faith is very important to have... religion is not necessary. I went to a religious school my entire childhood and everyone that was religious came across as very narrow minded. I got this sense that they are almost in a frantic state trying to talk themselves into believing it, because the alternative could not be accepted by them... The people I came across that just had faith alone were so much more grounded in life. More logical, could control emotions better, and far more accepting to factual answers we now have that went against the holy book.
      Looking out at the stars, into the cosmos, thinking about our little planet amongst a sea of trillions of others... yet we have this conscious life with the understanding of reality around us... there is something more out there, and the answers may be crazier than our wildest dreams.... and I believe that some answers may never get revealed.. but having faith that there is something of a greater power out there is important... whether it be quantum mechanics or an unknown power. ... But I cannot get behind a book that was written by people from thousands of years ago that were barely discovering our own planets characteristics, let alone what was beyond it. Following the morality of religion CAN be good for people, when they dissect the readings to rid them of the negative aspects... but way too many religious people give their entire lives to the bible, and they become loopy. All the religious heads from my school had crazy eyes.... huge dilated pupils, wide eyes, frantic voices... they were struggling with something, and religion helped keep them grounded, which is good if the alternative is having a total breakdown.
      Humans that have a strong inherent knowledge of good and bad, and how to treat others do not need guidance from ancient scriptures... some people do not have that ability and they do need to have the words in front of them to follow... and that is fine. If the only way you see to be a good person is by living by the bible, then that is what you need... if you are capable of living a good life with strong values conducive to being a good human being, you need nothing more than a little faith that this vast universe holds power far greater than yourself. I might also add that the religions we humans have created are by far the biggest cause of war, violence, and suffering that humanity has had to bear. All fighting over who is following the correct ancient book. Its really a disturbing fact. As you can see, my problem is with the books telling people how to live, and not faith itself. I have a greater understanding for those with strong faith alone, unconnected to any book.
      What it comes down to is being true to yourself, so long as being yourself is a net positive to humanity. If you believe you are a detriment, then finding any means to get you back on the path to being a positive human is a good thing. If that happens to be a bible, then great. If not, you can still be just as good of a person, potentially even stronger. If this comment helped anyone, then great!... if you are a hardline bible believer, that is fine. I do not need to hear that I just need to "find christ". I heard it for over 18 years growing up. I have done all the soul searching you could ever imagine, and am 100% confident that I am exactly where I need to be. Thanks and have a great day!

    George, I've been an admirer of your work for quite some time. Your choice to depart from that less-than-satisfactory podcast and embark on your own venture was undeniably one of the most commendable decisions you've ever made. Witnessing your journey has filled me with enthusiasm as you've displayed your talents to the world. Featuring guests like Patrick Bet David on your podcast, delving into your background, and resonating with many of our shared perspectives, all reinforce my conviction that you truly merit all your accomplishments. Here's to your continued well-being and prosperity on your path ahead. Good luck with everything.
