Absolutely agree about the ANC - commuting through one of the busiest stations in Tokyo every day I can confirm the noise cancellation is mediocre. Still overall pretty satisfied with them, but I also miss the wings, I know I sound like a broken record 😅)
What about the transparency mode? Can I talk to people with pixel buds on? Would it feel like talking in a bubble? Also can you talk with some music (with low volume) playing?
I had a terrible scare yesterday, when my Pixel Buds Pro case fell out of my pockets (I have no idea how) as I was crossing the street. Thankfully, no cars were coming, I was able to notice quickly that the buds fell out and grabbed them. It would've been a costly accident.
From your review I understand the Samsung Galaxy Buds have smaller size and better active noise cancellation. I did not understand by which criteria we should prefer the Google Pixel buds.
Im getting the pixel bud pro 2 can't wait I've been using a cheap pair of 20 pound blaupunkt they work ok but the right ear bud doesn't charge all the time, and needless to day i needed a great pair of buds considering i listing to music and TH-cam every day
The Pixel buds pro do not work as well with a Samsung device as they do with the pixel device. This is one of my major issues of concern. I use earbuds all of the time and the pixel buds do not work well on the s23 ultra. They cut in and out, they disconnect, and the functionality of the Google Assistant is inconsistent. So if you have a Samsung device you probably want to stick with the Galaxy buds pro 2. I have them both and I definitely prefer my Pixel buds over the Galaxy buds pro 2 and the main reason is call quality. Every time I try to speak with someone using the Galaxy buds pro they always complain that they can't hear me and the sound cuts in and out. Over 20 conversations that is the common response I'm receiving. I don't need any other sound test than that. And because I used the Google Assistant a lot I prefer to pixel buds pro. I might even be taking back my Samsung s23 ultra. Because it just doesn't work as well with the Google Assistant as the pixel phone does. Also it's voice to text functionality is not as good as on the pixel phone and those features I use a lot. I like the S23 ultra but I am not in the business of having more than one phone so I will be making a decision real soon.
This is old but you maybe on to something hear . I have several earbuds including first Gen airpod pros , Galaxy buds 2 pro and liberty 4s . The non Samsung buds always randomly disconnect and I have to seat the buds back and the case and take them back out to get them back functioning normally. The Samsung buds are the only ones that don't do this leading me to believe it's something up with the way Samsung handles 3rd party buds
What about the transparency mode? Can I talk to people with pixel buds on? Would it feel like talking in a bubble? Also can you talk with some music (with low volume) playing?

I get annoyed with my pixel buds pro, constantly having to press them to pop them back on when I can feel them slipping out, and accidentally pause the music or skip trap or something, even just walking has them trying to pop out several times within a 15 min walk. Been having connection issues too, they'll still be connected to my phone but they'll just go silent randomly, and not always fixed from disconnecting and reconnecting. Also calls will suddenly go back to the phone even while still connected, and I'll find myself talking and then be like "Hello? Hello?" And phone will still show the call going and I can hear them talking quietly on the phone itself. Buds don't make a noise when that happens as they're still "connected" apparently. Battery life is pretty poor too, advertised up to 31hrs between the buds and pod, I get about 12-15, and I listen to my music pretty quiet due to sound sensitivity from autism, perhaps the transparency mode / noise cancelling eats more power than I thought. They were a free gift with my pixel 7 pro (that was defective and had to be returned and started a whole mess with back and forth arguing and had to fight google for a resolution where I wasn't left worse off for their fault) so I can't complain too much I suppose. But I found my old cheap boltune buds better for fit, never fell out, equally as good sound, better battery and would get over 30hrs total, but basic touch features and no transparency / NC mode, and they were only £30 in 2020.
Would the foam tips on pixel buds pro made a difference a lot of people say they secured them perfectly in the ear when the ones they came with didn't feel as secure as they would of liked
I don't like the design of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro case. It is somehow bigger, but they're actually one of the best earbuds, in my opinion. The Pixel Buds Pro make me want to buy them, and the only reason is because of the design, not anything else.
My problem with the galaxy buds2 pro is the silicone coating on the buds and case thats starting to peel off, making them look really gross and ugly. Planning on getting the new sony wf-1000xm5's
@@nohcho84imagine buying the galaxy buds for 220 dollars more or less, then after some months the coating starts to became sticky accumulating dirt and dust. They certainly could be very good at ANC But if i had to have in my ears something so dirt I'd rather change buds with someone who doesn't make that shit. Trust me when i said even if you try to clean them the dirt will come in a second. Hardware maybe pro, but overall not worth ABSOLUTELY the game, the problem will eventually come for everyone
@@scaryifliteral sorry to blow up an old video with comments, but have you ever heard of the 1more comfobuds mini? Ever reviewed them? The case looks very similar to pixel buds and I'm tempted to get them just cuz they're so much cheaper 😅

Love the comparison to GM paint 😂
I picked the pixel buds pro a week ago for 150 so far so good. Not many complains
I just got mine delivered from Germany this morning
Impressed tbh

My samsung buds2 pro fit perfectly well in my ears, very secure, i exercise with them everyday. Perhaps the shape of your ear canal is unsual
I have a ton of buds also and I always go back to the pixel buds pro. I like the sound and they have the best touch controls of any I have

Both support 3 codecs, but Pixel Buds has a edge
Do you know if this has an auto sleep mode after detecting inactivity or being idle when out of the case - the pixel buds pro that is.
The Mic test was chalk and cheese
