Loved this review...I have the both the 2 and the 2 pro. I use the pros right now, of course, with the 2's as a back up in case I lose them or whatever...anyway I have the FE's ordered and on the way. Got em cause I KNEW the wing tip design would fit better for me like the past model with that design. My only question is do the FE's have the "read text out loud" feature in them cause I really like that with my Pro's. 🤔

What a great review. I bought the Buds2 earlier this year and used them mostly for the gym, but without the wing tip, they just fell out of my ears over and over again while working out. I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend as much as what the Buds2 Pro cost, and certainly dont need all the extras as far as software, so having come across the Buds FE, it's nice to see they will serve for the purpose I need them for. @@suguha5908 I can answer why I'm leaning toward the FE. The FE is less than half the price, offers a remarkable upgrade over the galaxy bud+ (the headphones I'm coming from which fit very well for me) in the form of better sound, ANC, a more reliable mic, and better holding power. I don't believe the pro 2s are genuinely worth more than double the price when I'll probably feel like I'm in a new era of sound just getting the FEs. Now in gonna try and listen to both and see if the difference in audio quality closes the gap but I'd rather dump $100 dollars for earbuds and get 200% of my current experience than spend $230 for 220% of my current audio enjoyment.

How is the Bluetooth signal range on them (all three models) in case you get physically far away from the phone with the Buds in your ears?
I mean the main reason I wanna get the fe is the wing tip cuz I loved the buds + cuz of its battery life also comfort but I'm looking for a stronger bass 🔊 so what do u recommend??

Just received the FE and couldn't agree more. This review is spit on , I agree 100%. Just want to add that ANC + passive noise control on the FE is even better than on the 2pro for me since I could never get a good fit with the 2pro

I got the 2 over the pros because I seen a lot of reviews of people saying they couldn't get a good fit with the pros, so I when with the smaller 2s and couldn't of been more happy, even tho I did have to sacrifice some really cool features but there still really close to each other too. Fit is more important if you can't get a good seal to use all the features. Just give you a idea for what I hear. If I have to active nosie on and I am flying I don't hear the enegings of a plane while I am listening to content. If I am not listening to anything and I just have them in, it's just barely noticeable. If I had the pros I doubt it would be just as good cause of the seal.

I’m impressed on how this guy is able to help me making a choice, many videos just feel like, oh this one’s good, but not better, there is a cheaper and bla bla bla, i don’t really feel like i’m close to making a choice. Otherwise, by watching these i understood really well the pros and cons of each device, and got a real answer at the end. Simple, the fe are overall best, but if you got more to spend and want some fancy features you may get the pro ones.
Would be great if you recorded the buds' microphone in a noisy environment to have that comparison. Personally, I don't usually use earbuds at home.
Regardless, I'll go with FE to have that fit, my ears are large, and my current fin-based buds are perfect for me. Thanks for the vid

With the smallest plugs they fit perfectly 👌 amazing quality, 1st pair of buds. Will leave another comment after taking them to the gym 🙏

Could you help with info on which of the FE or Pro works better for zoom/microsoft teams video calls? I always have an issue with my audio clarity for recipients on the other side. Or my own voice at my end is muffled when the ANC is on

Yeah, the Buds & Buds+ might not have the higher battery life & sound quality, but gadamn do they fit comfortably and stay in. FE & FE+ are a nice callback. I definitely dig the flat touch area.

Thanks for you videos! I got a set of the Buds Fe based on your intial impressions video. I already have the pros and pros2.
These fe's are the perfect headphones for the gym and activities. So comfy and they stay put. Tuning is bass heavy which is perfect for the gym. Just enough noise cancelling. The slightly duller mids and highs are noticable but then again there's no ear fatigue.
Thanks so much 🙏 the only downside to Buds FE is no wireless charging. But it's minor in the grand scheme of things, you can still charge them at least!
Better than pro 2?
What about the water resistance of the FE's? Is it enough when you sweat like a pig during workout and live in a city where it's often raining?
12:20 just a note, to get that to work consistently, you have to double tap from behind your ear. I'm currently using the buds+ so not sure if it's the same for the newer models.
Your review is spot on. I own Buds Live, Buds 2, Bose, and Buds Fe... I always grab my Buds Fe... They fit better, are more comfortable, and the sound is just as good as all the others if you ask me, but I am not an audio person. I mainly listen to videos and podcasts, more so than music. It's just not that big of a difference for me when it comes to sound for the things I use my earbuds for... I prefer practically over features. This is the first pair of earbuds I have ever owned that doesn't get uncomfortable after wearing several hours. I can actually fall asleep with these in my ears and wake up them with my ears instead of trying to find them in my bed... I think the noise cancelation is better than any of my other earbuds. Get them for free with the Samsung Ultra 24 order instead of the Samsung Pro version. Great review as always!.. Oh yeah, about the software features, I have never once used any of those features with any of my higher-end earbuds. Who has time to worry about all that? As long as our devices work correctly, sound good, and have a good user experience, that is what matters. Unless of course, someone is one of the rare people who have way too much time on their hands. 🤷♀️

Time is a luxury I hope 1 day I will be able to enjoy. Yet "labs", in my life, is an investment of my time I choose to spend on because, unlike you, music in my ears within any time I'm allowed, brings tranquility, peace, emotions and so much more into my life. And without it, I would not be able to keep the pep in my step from Friday to Friday and still be grounded to my existence.
😅you definitely hit a nerve for me to give this time to write this with your assumption when I gotta get going. But I will copy and save this for myself to read later and see if I wasted energy by overreacting. 😅

Would the FE be a big sound improvement over the old Buds plus?
I have the Galaxy buds pro but they just don't fit. And they hurt my ears trying to smash them in. They do sound good though.
The sound bar is the noticeable difference between the earbuds. Thanks that says it perfectly to make a decision about what is going in my ears! 🕺

Can you compare S22 (snapdragon) vs S23 FE?
I already have the Galaxy Buds2 Pro and love them. Was considering changing it the Galaxy Buds FE but after seeing this video and hearing your findings then I am sticking with my Buds3 Pro’s purely because of the software features.

Thank you for this video. I bought the Buds Pro 2 but returned them after a few hours. I just could not get a good fit despite trying all the different tips. The better SQ was wasted due to the poor fit.
I've now bought the Fe based on your video. I'm coming from the Buds+ which fit me perfectly so I'm hoping these will do so too.

I'd love to but unfortunately I don't own a pair of Buds Live's. One thing I'll say is the lives don't really create a seal nor have good ANC (open ANC isn't real ANC lol)
I'm using the galaxy buds+ since 3-4 years now and they still work perfectly. Looking for a change though. Now my most used feature by far is actually the volume control by double tapping the left (down) or right (up) ear. This so handy for quickly changing volume even if you wear a hoody for example.
Not sure if I missed it, but do the Buds FE have that feature too? How can you control volume with those?

I just got the FE and for the price over $100 cheaper they are hands down my new favorite. And they actually stay in my ear, the Buds Pro2 always fall out. And I bought the comply foam tips for my buds FE and they almost sound as good as the Pro2.
I am looking into a new set of buds after I lost my Airpods of 4 years. One thing I love about the Airpods, they don't talk to you when you first put them in. I have to ask, do the FEs greet you with some voice or is it a simple chime to say they connected?
I had the pro/2Pro and now will definitely go for the FE since my ears are very big and the buds 2 pro only fit well with the large sednaear XL but the pressure in ear is non comfortable. Still im not fine with the price since I get brand new buds 2 pro for 100 bucks and the FE costs the same with less feature. Still have lying around brand new white sealed buds2 pro. Will sell them soon
I do wish you would have discussed battery time. I still hv my original Buds Pro that I love but one is starting to act up a bit...they're old so, I expect failure to occur. Meantime, I've always been a little disappointed that playing music yields about 3 hours. I hope these newer models do a bit better - I've decided to snag the Buds2 Pro bc music quality and ambient control are top needs for me...and I do love the voice detect on my current Pro's - real handy. But - the rich sound with deep bass? That's the kicker for me.

The Buds FE fit in my ear SOOOO much better & more comfortably.
Battery life on my Buds2 Pro were pretty awful, even from the start. I had them replaced & still the same thing.
Sound is nearly identical to me.

Thank you for this video. I lost my buds+ and was going to upgrade. From your video i decided to just replace my buds+ with a new pair of buds+. I use them all the time outside and on my bike so i want the wingtips and i charge everything wirelessly.

The S23 FE can get between 6-8 hours of SOT and can easily last the day!
Am I just crazy or does the FE handle wind noise better with the ANC? The ANC itself is stronger on the Pro but if I am not just smoking crack then the ANC on the FE is more useful as soon as you step outside.
I'm an old guy with defective hearing. My Buds 2 have adjustable ambient hearing enhancement for both volume & clarity. 1.Perfect for TV listening, without high volume, freaking out other family viewers.
2. Great for picking out a conversation, in a crowded room.
Like the FE for the wingtips, but are the ambient noise controls, exactly the same as the Galaxy 2 buds?

The Galaxy Buds has had impressive sound quality since the original buds back in 2019
Even before the buds when samsung was doing the Gear IconX's, the sound was still better than the competition at the time.

I removed the rubberized coating on the buds2 pro. Took a bit of time but they look nice
As a buds plus user i love the wingtip design of the FEs but that double tap edge for volume control is a must for me.
Also in my country the 2 pros cost similar if not less The FEs somehow with bank discounts. Will be mainly using this for Gym. Hopefully it fits well in my ear.

I didn't understand what you said about video recording from the buds2 pro. You said these are the only ones where you could use these buds' mics to record and the others would use the phone's microphone? I've done that with other headphones on a Samsung phone. I'm very confused. Having trouble choosing between the buds 2 and the buds 2 pro.
What I said was the Buds2 Pro were the only ones that could do 360 mic recording. You record using the other buds using pro video mode. But the Buds2 Pro are the only ones that can record in normal video mode utilising the 360 recording feature

One of the things I don't like about my Raycons is that when I'm talking on the phone, my voice sounds muffled because I have the headphones in. What I'd like to do is have my voice amplified and sent back to me in the earbuds. Does the Galaxy Buds FE have a feature that would allow me to hear my own voice without it being muffled? Would that also pick up the surrounding noise and cause issues for a call as well?
Thanks for making this video! I'm still using a Galaxy Buds+ and was thinking about upgrading just for the sake of upgrading. These buds have been in use for the past couple of years and work amazingly still.
But now that I've seen this I think I'll keep using them until they stop working. I like the wingtip design but just as importantly I like being able to wirelessly charge my buds overnight.
I have the buds fe and they're just like my Buds plus. Active noise cancelling- NOT. Fit for the FE , I had to put on the larger ear pieces. Looks Fe and Buds+ - I don't see any other than FE can take the wing off. Worth 99.99, not a chance. I'm listening to this on my Buds+, can barely tell any difference with the FE. I was miffed after trying the FE because the noise cancellation just is bad, none existant, but I chose not to return them.
Buds fe has 1 speaker.... and buds + has 2 way speaker, so its worse sound quality, just bass? Thats all i hear, so its not worth it. Buds + is still alive after 3 years...
What I own like atleast 10 pairs, idk how you can only own 1 tf.?!

This is very useful when you capture video and rewatch later and hear 360 audio means you relive the movement
so just a couple days ago my galaxy buds pro started giving me a problem ..after 2 yrs of use .low volume in the left bud...apparently other ppl online say the same ...I was wanting to go pro again ...bt the fe def seem the better buy on substance ...

I'm a tad confused about the 360 audio section of your video. I own the Buds 2, and they do in fact offer 360 audio. Did I misunderstand what you were trying to say?
Probably a bit late response but the difference is Pro version uses head tracking when the buds 2 only have 360 audio without the head tracking tech.
Do these cause the same infections as the galaxy buds pro?
I love the 2 pro, I got it as a gift, I wished so hard for them because of the features, and I got really surprised by the sound quality, it's amazing, and the voice detection is a most for me, I use it almost all day because of it and to not get bored when doing tasks😂
Do you work out / run? If so, please let me know if they stay secure in your ears! I want the pros, but if FE stays better in your ears, i will go with them.
@nataliekoop3098 yes, I use them to train, they don't even move, maybe if you sweat a lot and if the sweat goes down your ears might me a problem but another big issue, non (imo), hope could make you made a great choice 😁

I have and love my buds pro 2. My wife and daughter have the buds live, and they love them. They love how good they fit in they ear and love the sound of them.
I bought myself a high end set of over the ear headphones from Bowers and Wilkins. Since that purchase, I've found many audio products lacking, including the original Galaxy Buds Pro. I believe that this is due to many audio products lacking support for high resolution sound. The Buds 2 Pro have no such deficiency. Their sound is simply excellent. If you own a Samsung phone and you value high quality audio, then look no further than the Buds 2 Pro!
I found this to be true for me to I also own a few pairs on wired high end headphones from hifi man sennheiser etc. As well as b and o ex which are simply the best but the buds 2 pro are great for the price especially since you can get them for less now.

honestly - I think that anybody trying to enjoy high res sound with earbuds are kidding themselves.
There is one thing I wish you had touched on with these reviews and that is how comfortable they are to wear if you are lying in bed. I want to be able to lay with my ear pressed into the pillow and not have the earbud be pushed deep into my ear canal, which can only be achieved if there is not too much of a "bulge" coming out of the ear for the pillow to press against. I assume the Galaxy Buds FE would be best suited for this since it has the flat portion which look to be a lower profile outside of the ear. A pillow test would be appreciated in future reviews. Thank you!

My wife used the Buds2 and Buds2 Pro for sleeping and the Buds2 were more comfortable of the 2. The Buds FE though, as you suspected, are by far the best option. Not only are they less likely to fall out during the night because of the wing tips, but they also will be better when lying on your side due to the flat edge.

so i just got a pair of buds 2 pro with a new phone and going from normal buds 2 it sounds very different in a nice way. ird say wait till the buds 2 pro are on wale and swing for them

Ok I have tried way to many ear pieces & last pair of buds was the JBL live pro 2 & they just weren't loud enough & didn't fit well & the call quality was bad. No Matter what i did background noises was to much for caller on the other end. Doing simple task. Folding a bag, for example was way to noisy, putting grocerys away was also to noisy. TV in the background not even loud at all, was to noisy. I sent them back & don't know what else to buy. I've thought hard about the liberty 4NC & like the look & design but don't wanna be let down again in phone calls. If I was gonna try the Galaxy buds 2 pro they would be paired with my S23 Ultra & I assume of corse it's a great match. Problem is I don't like the price at all they are to costly & I also hate the design & look of them. Gee what would you suggest. I want powerful & loud music but call quality In noisy environments is a must. Please tell me what you suggest. If my best option is the Galaxy buds 2 pro, which out of the 3 is only one I'd consider then I'll have to find a way to pay for them. Please give me your advise in this situation & thank you very much.
I love my buds2 my only issue is when working out and sweating they slip. Ive tried different tips hoping that would help. But nothing really helps. Im wondering if the pros, being matte, would hang on better?
It's probably more the size of the Buds2 that cause them to fall out. The buds 2 pro are larger and should have a more secure fit in that sense
