I know this is a build video and not a guide but I have 2 tips that I’ve found useful playing wagasa that weren’t mentioned. 1) if you whiff a parry, you can press the light attack button to reset your animation letting you instantly parry again. 2) I found some tech with sliding where if you let go of the right bumper while sliding you will regain enough stamina back to just spam slides. This lets you chase down limping monsters and get spring attacks off on them as they are changing zones. I’ve gotten a few clutch tail cuts that way. Great vid! Thanks!
I think wasga for sure wants alot of dedication from you. Having to learn the timings on every monsters attacks takes ALOT of trial and error, especially when u start parrying leaps and slams and stuff with a delay like the deathstalker paw press that makes an ice aoe, stuff like that isn't easy to learn other then just constantly getting hit by it until you memorize the timing
Threw on both dodge masters and finished with the Rashomon Wagasa for 100% parry master, makes it nearly impossible to miss a parry and allows you to feel like a literal god battling the Kemono.
At level 2 and level 3, your dodge attacks become great for repositioning and hitting heads of monsters that are just out of reach of the star. Your x is an uppercut and your y is a normal spinning forward move. You can do stuff like y from the air, dodge, x, then start your trey star at a weak spot. If the monsters locked down, and you've broken a part, dodge then y to a different part
Love the build. I keep meaning to play other weapons but I've been hooked on the Wagasa since launch. Ever try New Leaf on armor? It kinda feels like permanent Dash Juice. Let's you infinite loop Wagasa tosses.
I find that I can get better parrys by changing the parry button to one of the square, triangle, circle, x buttons in the controller settings. It seems to activate the parry faster and easier to reach instead of R2.
I use the mix of mighty tusk (jupiter) and chicken and others For head i use the chicken to gives recovery boost For body and boots the tusk For pants haidate plum For gloves you can choose either the chicken or the tusk
@@TheStudio_70 no probs man glad to help, also if you dont want to rock the chicken head for recovery boost, you can switch it up with the tusk so you get lots of bonus whenever you do hunters arm
So frustrated I have put ma y hours I ot this game and can't seem to obtain level of success or even character/ weapon levels that cb does. I know I'm doing something wrong just don't know what.
The only downside that I’ve noticed for that skill is that you still take damage and sometimes it seems to go off instead of my parries. There are many times I think I times a parry correctly but I’ll take damage as if the instinct party is taking priority over my input. I could be wrong or it could be a product of the game slowing down, but that’s what I’m noticing.
@@Jwalko4 for anyone reading this comment later, this was fixed in the patch so that it actually negates the damage as it should. Instinct Parry is pretty neat IMO and can save your hide when you least expect it

Ye but the rashomon is no raw weapon

There’s an instinct parry talisman in the first map. Works amazingly with this build.
Good to know. Thanks
If you can parry ,it is an easy weapon , IF YOU CAN PARRY 😅
What are the monster we need to kill to get the materials for the last five weapons? Agter the Amaterasu weapon?

You can get Instinct Parry on a guaranteed collection charm.

ELDEN RING DLC BABY WOOOOOOO
You forgot to eat before hunt.
Why is provocation good? That was never explained.
Because if the monster focuses you then you have more parry opportunities and therefore more damage boosts.
@@FightinCowboy I figured that out about 2 mintes after I asked that, but thank you for replying.
Thanks for playing this game so I dontchave to 💪💯. To buggy and too hard for me. I'll watch you play it though lol. Back to MHR I go
Damn it took 15 minutes to take down a regular volatile ripclaw? The build lacks desperation(dps) 🥲🥲🥲
