Little Dude and I combine two nostalgic treats into one fabulous creamy and jiggly concoction. The result is everything you'd hope for it to be. He gave it ONE MILLION THUMBS UP!

He is so cute and smart, too! I used to make a lime dessert with grated carrots and crushed pineapple along with chopped pecans. Instead of the cold water, I used either 7-Up or Sprite in the amounts in the Jello directions. For quick setting, I added ice to the beverage to make the cup of cold water, reducing the hot to 3/4 cup. I served this on lettuce leaves.

Orange jello is the tastiest I believe! This is such a neat idea! I'm not usually into fruity desserts but I'd go all for this! Looks great for a crowd or you could modify it in a ramekin for a single portion! Thanks for sharing this creative and very colourful dessert!
