Hi! I am Carlee and I like to cook. I am a busy mom that loves to share family friendly recipes. Many of them are homemade and from scratch, but I also love a good shortcut where it makes sense.
My son loves to help in the kitchen, so we have started doing videos together of recipes that your kids (or grandkids) can help with as well. We love making tasty food with simple recipes. It is a great way to bond, eat good food and teach life skills all at the same time!

I used to make snow cream. But now NEVER! What is in our air? I don't think it's safe. It's sad, but better safe than sorry.
I suppose everyone has to do their own risk assessment. If we can't eat snow that has fallen through the air, what can we eat?
@@CookingWithCarlee We are living in strange times. All I know is that where I live, I see heavy chemtrails in our skies that look like a grid. I feel like the snow helps to clear that out which means there are chemicals in the snow. Last week the snow was very unusual looking. It formed little balls that looked like Styrofoam. But yes, we each do our best to stay safe based on what we learn and have opinions about. I used to absolutely love it when my mother broke out the big stainless steel bowl, went and grabbed some snow and added the sugar, vanilla and cream. I thought it tasted better than actual ice cream. Then I made it for my daughter. Anyway, your video brought back good memories.

I tried making these cookies and what i got wasnt dough at all it was a brownie batter consistency. Im gonna put it in the fridge overnight to help it harden up. Idk where i went wrong i messured everything right.
oh no! I hope it works out for you. I use the same chocolate cookie dough for several recipes. It is usually a little bit sticky, but definitely thick enough to hold its shape without being chilled.

You do grease your pan first right???
no, I don't grease my pan for cookies. Usually the butter in the dough is enough. I'd use a piece of parchment paper if you are worried about them sticking.

Off the school bus and up a long driveway in the dead of winter... Thru the back door and the whole house smells of cinnamon. Warm rice pudding waiting for me to gobble it up and warm my hands on the warm bowl. I miss my dear mother. This recipe is just like hers. Yummy!!!
