I assume the chest trick does not work anymore.
A very very quick supplies and steel exploit......at the "Traveller's Rest Inn" at the very beginning of the game. it's right next to where you did Yuna's first mission to get the assassination skill. there is a chest inside the building next to the lady holding a baby. To get started.....1st, open the chest. 2nd, hop onto the ladder to the right of the chest. 3rd, when you're on the ladder, simply push "options" and "restart from last checkpoint." you should respond next to the chest. NOW, to continue this, just simply open the chest. once the "steel" prompts, hit "options" and then "restart from last checkpoint." and rinse and repeat. climbing the ladder is only necessary the first time so you respond next to the chest.

@@BigMeals5215 they could patch it. but it's a single player game. if you want to exploit the game, then that's up to individuals. Now, an iron exploit is what will get youtubers lots of views.

If you are on Normal mode, upgrading weapons halfway is enough to beat most of the game with no issue, if you max out everything, you become a literal god, this includes health, charms, and resolve upgrades.
There are minor charms that can be used to bolster your defenses to crazy levels too.
Anyone forgetting they have other games while playing this 😂

Confirming most of these don't work anymore. The inari charm is your best friend for farming from side missions
The VERY FIRST time you come across supplies, in the prologue when you climb into a building with Yuna, you can reload that checkpoint and the supplies which will be right in front of you as you enter through the window will respawn. Just grab both of them, reload the checkpoint, and you'll be grabbing betwen 10-18 supplies in under a ten second loop. Boring, but it works if you want a very early head start.

itd be better with new game + since u could use charm of inari for double supplies
The chests no longer resets once you update to 1.06 :(

I don't get why people are all over farming chests in this game.
You get more than enough using the inari charm. Currently in act one my katana is just 1 level shy from MAX.
My tanto is MAX. And all my armors are 1 level away of MAX. I never visited the same place twice!
The game is so beautiful, amazes me every time I play it.

In my first playthrough I did upgrade everything that I had without exploits or sweating (I have a plat achievement so I have literally every gear) the amount of silk that you get from quests is exactly how much you need to upgrade all your armor to max lvl, same with gold and a special tree. Just enjoy the game, it’s a beautiful one, devs didn’t try to sell you the “timesavers” (hello ubisoft) so you get more than enough loot. I mean, you will need to complete every storyline for this and if you think it’s lame then isn’t going circles from chest to chest lame?
I knew I screwed up when I destroyed the bases. I went over all the game and brought destruction to every single enemy camp. I'm glad things aren't lost cause I really need more supplies
I did the same. No point in maxing some armors. Like the ronin and Travelers. Better to save the supplies for future armor and the sword upgrades.

You really don't need to do this. You will be an absolute God at the end of the game anyway and this is definitely gonna cheapen it.

Guys, if any of u where wondering were you can find a place where u can farm enemies after 100% liberating the game then just teleport to the “Duel of the Spider Lilies” location and turn around till you find a bridge, there should be some enemies there (it varies from straw hats to mongols), and you can defeat them. Once u do teleport to the duel of the spider lilies again and they should respawn. If they don’t, just TP to the duel of the spider lilies again and they should respawn. (I’m honestly desperate for a way to un-liberate forts or a new game+ because the game is SO fun)

I must just suck apparently. I've bear the game and have done 2 ng+ playthroughs in the same character, and still don't have everything upgraded. I pick up everything I see too. Honestly I feel like upgrading gear is too much. Should be like half as much.

It's not necessary to max armor like the Ronin or travelers so save those supplies for the armor that's actually worth.
Traveller is worth maxing ronin is optional
Ronin has cool hats tho that’s why I maxed it out

From the white dye merchant in the first area. Idk what level his armor is but the pattern changes a bit each upgrade

How do you keep the camp red it’s confusing because you killed the enemies but the objectives are still up there and you keep teleporting back

It does not work for me. When a small camp is totaly under my control I canot farm them multiple Times Just once First Time round. Any clue why is that

There is an exploit at the travelers' inn. Open the chest and then reload checkpoint. It's pretty efficient but its not fun and is a bit of a cheese.

tl;dr
kill enemies but don’t destroy camp, loot, fast travel nearby, return and loot again.
Also sell arrows (can be sold and replenished infinite amount of times) & sell the iron (abundant, drops from everywhere, sells for a lot). Also if you DID destroy camps and killed enemies, there's still the option to do smaller camps (they don't get destroyed, they can even spawn 2 chests and are much faster) :)
Can we sneak into act 2 and complete hotsprings and bamboo strikes there while still not having completed act 1 like getting Iron and steel glitch?

Just confirmed with 3 different locations the chests aren't respawning anymore so chances are this was patched as of 1.19 current

Yeah but the flowers are only to change the color of armor and weapon,it's not that important you can find a lot just exploring the map.
if you need to find flowers you can just open the map up and press right on the d-pad and use the guiding wind to track them
Not a big deal... You get a shit ton of flowers in act 2. Have over 100+.

When you get to Act II you’ll see more iron that you won’t need it. You can fully upgrade your swords by the beginning of Act II.
Get the charm of Inami, the charm where you get double stuff for resources .. Then you won't have to worry about iron.

All I do is sell my predatory skins. Not that hard to come by anyway. Iron on the other hand is.

You can buy iron from trappers or just send your clothes to the dry cleaners.
