Beat the game without dying once in the play through. That'd be impressive. Taking no damage is a bonus, but at some points in the game taking damage is inevitable like the Khan throwing Jin off the bridge. So really no death run.
This game is amazing. I was a little bit sad, when I finally liberated the whole island and nothing happened. I had hoped for a cool final video sequence.
Ahhhh shit is just so hard to number them like 1,2,3 but my favorites are, ghost of tsushima, the last of us, Ac2, sekiro and bloodborne i love them by equal jajaja they are just so good
This is really helpful. Specifically working on my perfect parry I hadn’t thought about the charge up versus the actual strike so I think that will help me a lot along with everything else in this video.
@@dennywangsaputra5598 perfect dodge to me is easier than perfect parry just watch your opponents moves each one has unique combos that are easy to read i like to dodge on the heavy attacks right before they hit you as the heavy attacks takes a little wind up time😉
Haha do what I did and never upgrade your health on lethal. You did in one hit from nearly every single enemy. You use trash armor like the one that does not use perks also.
I just got it for Christmas and have been playing hard mode it’s really satisfying to pull of certain boss fights and how relentless and fast the enemies are so it feels good as hell to pull the fights off. It also keeps you on your toes cause even bandit type enemies with no armor can kill you who quickly if you let them get in that sword combo and on top of that the bosses charge you out the gate
08:12 This is a good tip for people who struggle with the combat at the beginning of the game. Unlock stances, resolve, and hot springs asap This video has good tips👍🏼
this video does not have good tips lmao, they're so basic for an 'advanced' combat tips and tricks video. some of them are are "the surging strikes move is very effective against enemies with shields" and the same for brutes and the moon stance. other 'tips' are telling you to focus on upgrading the tanto even though it's more of a QoL upgrade, therefore wasting resources. also the 08:12 tip only worked once out of the 6 times it was used in the video, the other 5 times were clearly forced which just means the tip isn't valid and is hardly useful in game. also just get good bruh
@@unplugged9553 08:12 THIS IS A GOOD TIP FOR PEOPLE WHO STRUGGLE WITH COMBAT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME. PUT ON YOUR READING GLASSES GRANDMA Never said I had to use it. Btw, Platinum on hard and 100% completion when the game came out. Have a nice day, grandma.
@@zensoredparagonbytes3985 the 08:12 tip isn't good as it was only useful once out of the 6 times which just means it's not that important or GOOD. the sentence in the video never had any implications of the tip not having to be used later on in the game, not that it would be useful later on anyways. 'Never said I had to use it.' and 'Never said I did struggle.' okay? no one was questioning weather you used it or not. 'Btw, Platinum on hard and 100% completion when the game came out.' weird flex but okay Anyways, you missed the point of the comment. the point was to mainly say that the tips in the video are not good whatsoever, not even for beginners. mentioning the tip at 08:12 was just one of the examples of the many useless tips in the video. and not once did i question your skill at GoT nor do i care but for some reason you do. to end this off, you're insecure and need to get a grip by throwing out your ego of platinum'ing GoT which nobody cares about, especially if you go around flexing it like that. nerd.
Ong I literally just got my ps5 & I been on this game since I got it been 4 days I’m already op w fully armor upgraded everything including weapons long bow & now I’m the ready to rescue my uncle lord shumira
Another neat little trick for Ghost play, is using the Charm of Toxic Demise. (Acquired by reaching rank Phantom Samurai). Turning your wind chimes into poison grenades is the funniest shit in this game. So you don't need to rely on your blowgun as much and wind chimes are always available in camps, if you get you placement right, you can easily get double and triple kills with this little bastards. Plus, if they terrify an enemy or two, makes your Mongol extinction efforts a lot easier.
little late but i always thought charm of toxic demise was a little annoying to use. when i use wind chimes (which is rare because i dont really use any other weapons that arent the swords), i use it to set up a chain assassination and so using that charm is really just a hinderance for my playstyle. i dont doubt that the kills can be funny or can set you up with triple kills but having this charm just wastes a slot.
You don't always cover games that I'm interested in, but when you do it's very helpful! I appreciate the flow into more advanced techniques. I never felt lost even though there's a lot of nuanced info.
@@thebatman6201 lets say you are playing and you see one of the characters shown dueling vs Jin acting like your friend. I would remember the person's name at least and they would probably introduce themselves, I would now know I'm going to kill them.
there is this one move that I always do against bosses: 1)Run in a circle surrounding ur enemy 2)wait ofr the best moment when the boss already used his un~dodgable attack 3)run straight at them and send them into air, then pummel them with quick strikes (in order to use that u need to research that move in the tech tree first,it is really good for breaking the stances of powerful enemies).
Not if you are playing on Lethal. You use the wrong stance against an enemy and you will definitely not survive the encounter and the slow-motion when switching stances is gone.
This game is amazing! I only wish they added a new game+ mode or a harder difficulty when you try to switch stances during a fight the game doesn't slow down
Yeah, I wish they had a harder difficulty on the main game as well. The combat is super forgiving. I found it hard to master the combat, because I kept making mistakes and killing everything anyway. I never HAD to learn like in ds, sekiro, nioh, or bloodborne.
@@YeOldeMachine The abilities/ gear are very powerful once you start to get the timing and muscle memory down. The Straw Hats have added a bit of extra challenge with more unpredictability, but you can still drop a smoke bomb and assassinate multiple enemies without much threat to you. Other than a few of the duels (two in the fighting rings, and I got completely owned in the first one I think is supposed to be impossible to win) I haven't felt as challenged as I'd like.
Very nice tricks. I must add something that few people have noticed: when you kick an enemy to a body of water he instantly vanishes. Like, if you are fighting near a river just kick him and he's obliterated. I've actually managed one time to kick an enemy to a Hot Spring, he disappeared on the water lol.
One more thing when trying to silently kill enemies either with arrows or old school stabs in the neck Always have an escape plan Look around your surroundings and find places which cover enemy line of sight Certain gaps in walls or fences you can squeeze through works well too And possible places to hide such as rooftops, crawlspaces, deep enough water to both hide and swim away Nothing spells disaster worse than just going leeroy jenkins with your stealth attacks without any sure path of escape Which either forces you into a fight or it endangers the hostage
Use light attacks or the hold light attack technique to finish enemies if you are worried about resolve when facing multiple opponents...light attack finishers are more likely to leave them struggling on the ground so you can stab them while they are trying to crawl away for resolve later on in the battle. Kunai, bow shots (non head shots) if they are the thing that "kills" them are more likely to leave them alive on the ground too.
The water stance is the most Broken sword style for me. I've been using it for all of my duels. If you are really good at reading the enemy's moves, you can easily parry and dodge perfectly and just use the chain heavy combos to kill them really fast. I really feel like I'm immortal playing with this stance, they can never damage me.
The kunai throw for chain assassination is also a must for enemies far apart, you can also trigger the chain assassination with a smoke bomb at any time
Ten minutes of info I already know… I guess I should see it as a complement. Here’s a little known fact: rapidly tap L2 with a bow equipped to “wave” to people. One REAL tip that I use a lot is tossing a smoke bomb right before an aerial assassination. If you’re a newer player: yes, it’s worth the kunai to hunt boar. Predator hides get you ammo capacity upgrades, and investing in those is a snowballing system, since you can hunt more boat after every upgrade. And if your horse ever glitches out and starts riding around and you can’t get off, I escaped by throwing a smoke. Here’s another good one: when dueling, never assume that one more hit will do it. You try to finish with a Dance of Wrath, but they have a tiny bit of health afterward, land some unblockables on you, but now you can’t heal.
I went back to playing sekiro and it's so hard after finishing ghost. I loved the combat in ghost and I faught with water stance most and used my kunai and once u get kenzi armor its boost all ghost attacks by half and all enemies hits are weakened by half. Plus upgrading kunai damage with charms to where you can 1 hit most to kill with
I came ot love the jump assassination recently. It can be tricky, but if an enemy is under a roof overhang so that you can't standing assassinate them, you can jump out, turn around in midair, and then hit square to take them out. If you're lucky. You can also, like in AC, jump off of massive heights and so long as there is an enemy below you, hit square when you get close and take zero fall damage.
Funniest thing that's ever happened to me in this game. I was riding towards an objective and saw two mongol's attacking a bear. Rode my horse up to preform the critical drop kick dismount, but the bear hit a guy up into the air so I lunged up after him and drop kicked him out of the sky. It was bloody epic but looked hilarious. Bad day for mongol.
Every time I try to use a stance that doesn't match the enemy I'm fighting, the game corrects me and makes me switch and it's so annoying. Like bruh let me have fun, sometimes I just wanna use that sweet water stance combo on a sword guy
@@Alcomedy I already have every stance unlocked and the game still corrects me if I use the same stance for more than like 5 seconds against the wrong enemy type
I use piercing strike all the time. It's a great way to start or end a combo especially against a brute or a swordsman that still has their guard up. Plus its primal af
Quite late to the party but thanks for this video. I've played this game through at least twice before, and I'm partway through a third go on a higher difficulty level. I thought I knew almost all there is to know about the combat in this game, but hadn't made the connection between Tanto upgrades and the speed of assassination moves. Nor had I realised that switching stances is still useful for sword bosses, I previously assumed that stone stance was always the "optimised" moveset against them. I shall check it out later!
The blunderbuss takes several seconds to load and charge up, so you can easily interrupt it with flurry strikes. If you back off there's a good chance you'll still be in range when he fires
Super late but another basic tip just for anyone who is interested. If stealth isnt your thing, on hostage missions I prefer to keep the rule of stay as close to the hostage as i can. This means not starting my attack until im within range to defend the hostage before popping off. So far havent had a mission fail due to hostage dying this way, which is one thing I have heard some people say is kinda annoying
Yes that's how I believe it was intended. That's why I like hostage missions. It's an additional challenge to stay focused on combat but also protecting the hostage. And yes the only times I've failed is when I was too focused on the enemy and strayed too far from the hostage. It makes sense and I love feeling like I'm a samurai and those missions add to that feeling. I think some people like the combat so much they get annoyed at everything that isn't.
Another little thing you can do is you can jump and hit triangle in the air and Jin will do a little kick. I’m not talking about the one he does off his horse either, this one you can do any time. Also there is a really cool charm that you can get, I forget where, that turns your wind chimes into poison weapons that poison enemies when they get too close to them.
What i recommend is breaking the enemie's guard with a perfect parry or the recommend stance and THEN switch to another stance like water stance to use the heavy attack Except with kin stance wind is good against most enemies (except brutes and bears)
I’ve waited for this game since forever. There was a game years ago where you had duel other sams change you’re stance and train in the dojo. I wanted this to be similar! It is but if any future dlc could incorporate open pvp duels would be immense. Love the game probably the only game I will play twice in 10 years.
In combat, try abusing your Way of the Flame with the steadfast charm. It greatly helps you take down tough enemies from grunts to brutes to warlords to bosses. Want even faster clear? Firecracker + black powder while wearing Kensei armor. Or if you finished Ikki island and wanted to be a little cheat, Sugaru charm + Tadayori's armor and that major charm that refunds arrows by 40% for landing a headshot then slap 2 fortune charms and you'll rarely run out of arrows while using Longbow.
My fave is kicking someone and having an ally with a bow shoot/kill them mid air 🤣 And moon stance two kicks, quick wind stance change charge kick so fun to do
yea that Stab in stone stance was my bread and butter for like a chunk of act 1..anticipating them coming or just as they start moving forward its strong
Another pro tip.. Its really good to have atleast 2-3 outfit loadouts that you custumize for different situations. Ghost armor... for infiltration and sneaky mission and you trait it with alot of sneaky stuff to avoid detection Sakai clan armor for large skirmishes and fights.. mostly when doing main quests and trait it with alot of extra dmg and survivability Also the charm that transforms ur windchimes to posion bombs is pretty much the most op charm in the game. U only have 3 poison darts so this should really help to ofset that
I started a new play through and so far ive made it through act 1 without dying. However, this time around ive noticed the Mongols are way smarter and i cant do my usual tricks. But i figured out a new one, which they cant do anything about. If you have a crowd coming after you, stun them wuth kuni and then finish them with sticky bombs. This is especially useful when you have a group charging from the front, but you are already fighting one or 2 other people. Just roll away, get em all before they even get close to you.
Another tip is to never waste focus. By that I mean if you have a full focus bar, use it! Because if you don’t it’ll be sitting there and as you kill more enemies you already could’ve been gaining more, so make sure you never have full resources. Don’t be afraid to go ham to increase effectiveness and efficiency
Also I believe theres a charm I jsut got where its like "Staggering an enemy will cause attacks to be uninterrupted for 6 seconds" seems strong as hell for duels / 1v1s
I missed the combo part, where is it? Most players against bosses do normal attacks usually 4 of them when the boss's guard meter is broken, this actually deals less damage than a good stance switch combo. I use 2 normal attacks followed by moon stance heavy(1 kick) followed by instant wind stance heavy(the overhead jumbing attack) and one normal attack. This deals I think the optimal damage on guard breaks and looks very cool as well. If u have resolves to spare, might as well switch the wind stance attack at the end with a heavenly strike. Does a ton of damage. Also against bosses, its better to go with sword stance heavy rather than 2 garanteed normal hits after most normal parry. Normal attack damage is pretty low and does no guard damage, you'll be better off working towards breakjng the guard to get more damage than do 2 normal pokes every opening.
Got it all done, just haven’t got all the mongol items, flags or records but everything else has been finished. Great game, enjoyable combat. Thank you Sucker Punch. Great way to end an era 🤙🏼
play with cursed charms only. no ghost stance or legendary moves. I promise u will approach this game in a more methodical strategic way as one hit taken can kill u. the realism and tension go too a 10. improves every aspect of the game even attention to environment
Great video. I wasn't using those moves nearly enough. I was just mainly waiting to parry but mixing these in makes a huge difference. A good time to sneak one of these moves in is right after you get a break. Your videos have really improved overall in general since I first started watching. Keep up the good work.
Finished the game currently doing all side quests etc but I do wish there was a new game plus... might just have to do second playthrough with no sword upgrades and full bow trap upgrades
I like to combine Kunais with the Heavenly Strike. Kunai for stagger, heavenly for extra damage against staggered enemies. Sure it takes one resolve and one Kunai from your inventory, but it's pretty cool:)
They said something similar to this but, the first skill in stone stance that you spend skill points on can counter the annoying unblockable attack in duels when they sheathe then unsheathe there sword really fast if you release it right as the red dot pops up
Water stance charge heavy combo doesn't work in hard mode with the bosses. In hard mode, once you charge an attack, each boss has a technique to counter it, and they will attack before you. Once you max out stone stance, that works better in duels as it boosts the attack speed of its heavy attacks.
Sometimes it works though. I don't exactly know when the big opening happens but I've managed to get the full Water Stance combo to connect quite a few times on boss fights. You just can't throw it on neutral, it has to be after a light parry.
@@Ocean5ix True. I have as well, but it's very inconsistent. I should've said it doesn't work consistently. A lot of things, such as mythic attacks, you need to pull mid combo or else they will be block, parried, or dodged. I personally like that, though, since it requires skill instead of spamming strong attacks.

Ahhhh shit is just so hard to number them like 1,2,3 but my favorites are, ghost of tsushima, the last of us, Ac2, sekiro and bloodborne i love them by equal jajaja they are just so good
Bro you consistently know how to break down combat mechanics in games and come up with really cool results. Thanks for the video :D
This is really helpful. Specifically working on my perfect parry I hadn’t thought about the charge up versus the actual strike so I think that will help me a lot along with everything else in this video.
Tips on doing. Perfect dodge? I dead so many times
@@dennywangsaputra5598 perfect dodge to me is easier than perfect parry just watch your opponents moves each one has unique combos that are easy to read i like to dodge on the heavy attacks right before they hit you as the heavy attacks takes a little wind up time😉

beat it on hard mode, so satisfying af!! new game plus feature is what i want with hardcore difficulty now!! WOW!!
Lethal is pretty much hardcore difuculty lol every enemy one shots you, I just wanna try it on new game plus
Haha do what I did and never upgrade your health on lethal. You did in one hit from nearly every single enemy. You use trash armor like the one that does not use perks also.
I think hard is the best. I'm playing on hard on my 2nd playthrough and I'm satisfied with the challenge the bosses give me.
Unlock stances, resolve, and hot springs asap
This video has good tips👍🏼
this video does not have good tips lmao, they're so basic for an 'advanced' combat tips and tricks video. some of them are are "the surging strikes move is very effective against enemies with shields" and the same for brutes and the moon stance.
other 'tips' are telling you to focus on upgrading the tanto even though it's more of a QoL upgrade, therefore wasting resources.
also the 08:12 tip only worked once out of the 6 times it was used in the video, the other 5 times were clearly forced which just means the tip isn't valid and is hardly useful in game.
also just get good bruh
@@unplugged9553 08:12 THIS IS A GOOD TIP FOR PEOPLE WHO STRUGGLE WITH COMBAT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME.
PUT ON YOUR READING GLASSES GRANDMA
Never said I had to use it. Maybe for people who STRUGGLE with the combat AT THE BEGINNING of the game. Never said I did struggle. And the sentence implies you might not needed it when you're further into the game, because you'll probably have become good at the combat.
'Btw, Platinum on hard and 100% completion when the game came out.' weird flex but okay
Anyways, you missed the point of the comment. the point was to mainly say that the tips in the video are not good whatsoever, not even for beginners. mentioning the tip at 08:12 was just one of the examples of the many useless tips in the video. and not once did i question your skill at GoT nor do i care but for some reason you do.
to end this off, you're insecure and need to get a grip by throwing out your ego of platinum'ing GoT which nobody cares about, especially if you go around flexing it like that.

There's a charm that releases poison cloud after throwing a wind chime. It's makes for some hilarious deaths and is very useful overall lol.
This Charm Of Toxic Demise is obtained by reaching the Phantom Samurai legend ranking.
I've played this game a ton since release, and every time I watch combat from the game, I cannot wait to go play again. Awesome game
True ! It's so addictive
It is pretty hilarious to hear them grunt and then go pick it up and fall over dead
little late but i always thought charm of toxic demise was a little annoying to use. when i use wind chimes (which is rare because i dont really use any other weapons that arent the swords), i use it to set up a chain assassination and so using that charm is really just a hinderance for my playstyle. i dont doubt that the kills can be funny or can set you up with triple kills but having this charm just wastes a slot.
The fact he throws the blood off the sword after killing a mongol is enough to make me buy this game. That's dope af
You don't always cover games that I'm interested in, but when you do it's very helpful! I appreciate the flow into more advanced techniques. I never felt lost even though there's a lot of nuanced info.
The perfect dodge makes me feel like true samurai

there is this one move that I always do against bosses:
1)Run in a circle surrounding ur enemy
2)wait ofr the best moment when the boss already used his un~dodgable attack
3)run straight at them and send them into air, then pummel them with quick strikes (in order to use that u need to research that move in the tech tree first,it is really good for breaking the stances of powerful enemies).
I bet no one has done any jump attack 😄
Try it, you'll fall in love even more with this game specially on water stance or with duels
Am all about the X followed by ∆
I done a full camp last night with jump attack, rolls and smoke bombs haha
Lmao i found out about it last night. It does switch things up a bit keep you from doing the same thing
yes! I love kicking em. I don't like it when they parry my kicks though lol
Air juggling the enemies is super fun.
I use piercing strike all the time. It’s a great way to finish enemies quickly
Not if you are playing on Lethal. You use the wrong stance against an enemy and you will definitely not survive the encounter and the slow-motion when switching stances is gone.

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the few games where I actually use ALL my abilities, because it’s just so fun.
There's also an expert mode hud in the options that you can toggle which will minimize a bunch of hud elements for more immersive gameplay
This game is amazing! I only wish they added a new game+ mode or a harder difficulty when you try to switch stances during a fight the game doesn't slow down
Do a roll when switching stances
A "Very Hard" mode is definitely needed similar to Horizon: ZD, which became much more enjoyable to me with the extra challenge.
B&W Kurosawa mode makes parryable and unblockable attack undistinguishable. That's a bit harder I'd say
We NEED a DLC or just more content.
Shinobi and dismemberment dlc
One more thing when trying to silently kill enemies either with arrows or old school stabs in the neck
Always have an escape plan
Look around your surroundings and find places which cover enemy line of sight
Certain gaps in walls or fences you can squeeze through works well too
And possible places to hide such as rooftops, crawlspaces, deep enough water to both hide and swim away
Nothing spells disaster worse than just going leeroy jenkins with your stealth attacks without any sure path of escape
Which either forces you into a fight or it endangers the hostage
Its sad that the assasinations become less satisfying as you level the tanto
true I wish I never upgraded the tanto or at least kept it on lvl 2 fml
Use light attacks or the hold light attack technique to finish enemies if you are worried about resolve when facing multiple opponents...light attack finishers are more likely to leave them struggling on the ground so you can stab them while they are trying to crawl away for resolve later on in the battle. Kunai, bow shots (non head shots) if they are the thing that "kills" them are more likely to leave them alive on the ground too.
4:08 Somewhere, Shawn Michaels is smiling. Sweet Chin Music baby
jin found this move wayy before shawn wasnt even born
The water stance is the most Broken sword style for me. I've been using it for all of my duels. If you are really good at reading the enemy's moves, you can easily parry and dodge perfectly and just use the chain heavy combos to kill them really fast. I really feel like I'm immortal playing with this stance, they can never damage me.
Watching this after I've already platinumed it
What a gem of tips. Bookmarked.
I never really considered mixing up stances in duels etc but I will now.
This game is amazing and the graphics remind me of horizon zero dawn
I love how they have the tanto in the beginning story-wise because seeing Jin struggle to quickly and quietly kill someone to doing it nice and clean
It’s easy to show off moves on easy mode. Lethal difficulty is almost impossible to make those move unless u make perfect counter.
One shouldn't attempt lethal difficulty without mastering all of the moves.
I am on my 3rd run with this game because I absolutely love it!!! One of the best games Ever!
I see Jin is a Zelda fan, he borrowed Link’s spin attack.
Jin for sma- oh wait
And he changes weather with a flute, wish it was an ocarina lol
The kunai throw for chain assassination is also a must for enemies far apart, you can also trigger the chain assassination with a smoke bomb at any time
Wait so... I can't be the not person who just goes on and reacts when i see an attack coming right? I don't even remember attack patterns
Always have ready the button L1 or the 🔴 circle
I wet my pants when I discovered ghost stance
I went back to playing sekiro and it's so hard after finishing ghost. I loved the combat in ghost and I faught with water stance most and used my kunai and once u get kenzi armor its boost all ghost attacks by half and all enemies hits are weakened by half. Plus upgrading kunai damage with charms to where you can 1 hit most to kill with
Sekiro is similar combat but much more brutal, Fuckin love that game
Lol. Stating the video with "so...", it reminded me of JorRaptor.
Air juggling that's the best combat move.
Like bruh let me have fun, sometimes I just wanna use that sweet water stance combo on a sword guy
i dont think it does that everytime but im not sure
They do it in the beginning stages of when you unlock any stance.
@@Alcomedy I already have every stance unlocked and the game still corrects me if I use the same stance for more than like 5 seconds against the wrong enemy type
introvertedweeb Doesn’t for me. It happened only once on each stance.
I have the same problem and I was looking for an option to turn it off😭
You can do faints too by tapping the block mid swing. Gets them to go for a parry or dodge leaves them wide open
Most useless heavy attack: piecing strike.
It does way more harm than good. By the time I use it I die especially in the later game -_-
I use piercing strike all the time. It's a great way to start or end a combo especially against a brute or a swordsman that still has their guard up. Plus its primal af
Once I found out that you don’t have to charge it all the way, I’ve been using it sooo much
It’s good if you use it correctly
Team Electric well yeah but the fact that it’s high risk low reward make it so bad.
Edwin C. Who the hell you talking to there’s like 4 different people
If you’re precise with the stance switch, stick with water stance combo, and once you break defense, use any stance or even regular square attacks
Great video man! Useful tips.. went anyone would give you a thumbs down is beyond me
Super late but another basic tip just for anyone who is interested.
I find the Kunai to be a great help.
I swear that the spear sweep with the mongols up north happens almost immediately making it super hard to parry or dodge
I’m at 0:17 rn and I just wanna say the fully upgraded flowing water slashes are my favorite in terms of looks and damage
What i recommend is breaking the enemie's guard with a perfect parry or the recommend stance and THEN switch to another stance like water stance to use the heavy attack
Except with kin stance wind is good against most enemies (except brutes and bears)
I think that game was called Kengo, it was an awesome game
In combat, try abusing your Way of the Flame with the steadfast charm. It greatly helps you take down tough enemies from grunts to brutes to warlords to bosses.
Want even faster clear? Firecracker + black powder while wearing Kensei armor.
Or if you finished Ikki island and wanted to be a little cheat, Sugaru charm + Tadayori's armor and that major charm that refunds arrows by 40% for landing a headshot then slap 2 fortune charms and you'll rarely run out of arrows while using Longbow.
My fave is kicking someone and having an ally with a bow shoot/kill them mid air 🤣
And moon stance two kicks, quick wind stance change charge kick so fun to do
Finally! Someone that plays the game properly. The water and wind stance are so badass
yea that Stab in stone stance was my bread and butter for like a chunk of act 1..anticipating them coming or just as they start moving forward its strong
The best tip for me was switching the controls to the alternative (R1 & R2 attacks).
This game makes me wanna watch Shogun and Shogun makes me wanna play this game lol👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Another pro tip.. Its really good to have atleast 2-3 outfit loadouts that you custumize for different situations.
Ghost armor... for infiltration and sneaky mission and you trait it with alot of sneaky stuff to avoid detection
Sakai clan armor for large skirmishes and fights.. mostly when doing main quests and trait it with alot of extra dmg and survivability
Also the charm that transforms ur windchimes to posion bombs is pretty much the most op charm in the game. U only have 3 poison darts so this should really help to ofset that
i never realized the animation changes as you upgrade the tanto youre literally getting better nice touch
Will download this game onto my PS5 this week.
Been wanting to play this game for ages , but had an XBOX One
Flurry strike, spinning strike got it 👌🏻
Also I believe theres a charm I jsut got where its like "Staggering an enemy will cause attacks to be uninterrupted for 6 seconds" seems strong as hell for duels / 1v1s
It's not as good as it sounds
@@whoastairs9636 yea turns out im not using it since posting that..maybe for duels it might be alright but not worht it over some others
I learned recently that you can switch your stances during the initial animations to make to more fluid and constant
play with cursed charms only. no ghost stance or legendary moves.
The second clip of the video was so beautiful i repeated like 6 times now
I like to combine Kunais with the Heavenly Strike. Kunai for stagger, heavenly for extra damage against staggered enemies. Sure it takes one resolve and one Kunai from your inventory, but it's pretty cool:)
Pro Tip for lethal duels: Stab Stab, jump kick, jump slash to cancel enemy attack animation. Attack when jump kick/slash lands.
These moves will be very helpful. When I do that kick on them to knock them off ledges I am you g to shout, "This is Sparta."
I made my wife almost pee herself when I did that lol
They said something similar to this but, the first skill in stone stance that you spend skill points on can counter the annoying unblockable attack in duels when they sheathe then unsheathe there sword really fast if you release it right as the red dot pops up
Sweet Jin Music!
Shawn wasnt even born yet lol
