Vans actually have shoes with monet water lillys. They are a collaboration with museum of modern art. I have them 😄
I did not know they did that kind of stuff!! Was it a limited-edition kind of thing?

Monet and the water lilies are some of my all time fave paintings and artists! I saw the exhibition in Paris and it was overwhelmingly beautiful. I love your rendition! Also your hair looks so nice in this video - I have curl envy!
Wonderful video and a very nice ad there by YOU! I love Monet, as he was the instigator for the development of pastels! He contracted with the first company to create oil sticks. He used two sticks in one hand and swiped his canvas to mix the color right on the canvas! He even pushed Sennelier to create pure pigment sticks that become the sticks we use to this day! You have created a wonderful pair of shoes! I am sure that they will not last long should you decide to sell them. I do not believe anyone would believe that Monet painted shoes even Vans! SO no copy-write infringement! Please take care, be safe and enjoy the rest of your day!

I have never had a formal art class but I’m self taught and I started out studying the masters. Some of my first paintings were “The Last Supper “ and Leta and the Swan by Da Vinci and later many by Monet. I love how placing the colors juxtaposed it gives it that live action look. You are AMAZING, Mira! Thank you. You satisfy my art cravings when I’m energetically wiped! ❤
The final result is so colorful and fluid. The deep greens and lilac really tie the piece together.

SO pretty!! I don't know if I could wear shoes that pretty, I wouldn't want to ruin them or have them get dirty. Is there something you can put on them to protect them from dirt and water without changing the colors?
I think its' funny you are looking forward to Christmas already when just recently you were so excited for spring to get here. If you lived in California you can change what season you're in by going higher up in the mountains (if they're not on fire). Snow in August if you go to the right place
Thank you!! 💜 Yes, you have to seal them in afterward. I never film that part because usually my husband does it for me when he seals in his 3D printed projects! But sealing them is very important to extend the life of the design! And yeah... I am always looking forward to the next season, haha! I love that you remembered the spring enthusiasm! I love in a city that has a museum with famous dhali paintings. Right now they are doing an interactive exhibit woth van gogh and i want to go so bad. I love looking at all the paintings and famous paintings are so inspiring. My favorite class in art school was art history cuz of this.
Yes, please do another shoe customization video! I think it would be so cool to wear my own artwork. Maybe, the more comfortable we get with doing this project, we won’t be so afraid to wear them (and “ruin” them), because we know we can alway paint another! Thank you for sharing this.

You totally can sell those shoes as your own original art. That is not a copy, it's "inspired by", no one owns nature. A "study" is when you copy the original art as closely as possible to try to mimic each stroke the painter took, to get that movement into your sensory memory banks, and it's a great way to learn. Thanks for another cool video, your attitude is very refreshing and encouraging.
I am a big time beginner and she is so inspiring! I am new here and I have binge watched all of her videos because they make me feel like I can do anything if I just put my mind to it and actually try. There have been so many times I pulled out my little sketch and started drawing something 😅 I will definitely keep trying to get better and better. Thank you for the inspiration! 💗

When I painted on a pair of Vans, I use painters tape to tape the sticker down until that whole section is done ☺️ it doesn’t bend, or get any residue on them.
