- Note: I inserted the center seal in backwards in the video; the spring side of the seal should be facing the engine (thanks Bandiet for pointing that out!).
A quick unboxing and installation of the CHP Motorsports stator rebuild kit for the CT70. This kit fits Z50 K1 and CT70 KO-1981 and ATC 1973-1985.

The oil-seal in the middle is the wrong way up, iT does not seal off correctly this way
You are correct, thank you for pointing this out.
Excellent video ....... thank you
how u get stator plate off of motor?
After assembly, what electrical tests, I.e. continuity, ohms, etc.. can be done to ensure all connections are good? I rebuilt mine, just like you have done, but I seem to have some grounding/continuity issues. Thanks
where can I get from the paper/diagram that is shown in the video ? thanks
How do you test the lighting coil to make sure it’s functioning correctly?
Do you still have your corvette?
when does the new video come out
Well this work on a 1971 ct70?
Pls explain how to join ignition coil to condenser,,point and to spark plug
I'm not sure what your question in? the coil, points and line that goes to the external coil all get soldered onto the condenser like I showed in the video. Let me know what you're looking to figure out and I'm happy to help.
What do you do for the neutral switch now?
There is no neutral indicator light on the K0 models.
I had to reuse my old wire, remove it from the old plug and pop it into the new plug and slide it through the loom.
Do you have any ct projects you would like to sell?
Do they not call for any Loctite on any of this hardware?
I don't believe so. The washers are the split-ring type that help prevent loosening; I'm not sure if there's anything that requires Loctite on the CT70?
@@eastcoastish inside the engine there are a few bolts that require a locking agent I think
what is the parts number
