At the very young age of 22, Buddy was already so mature. He was definitely a pioneer of Rock & Roll music and possibly the most influential and important musician of that genre. It’s so incredibly sad that in just over two months after this interview, Buddy, Ritchie Valens and JP “The Big Bopper” Richardson (together with the young pilot) were tragically killed in a plane crash, that should NEVER have happened.
