Just FYI at the release of this video, this card was already on sale/price drop for $440USD with a free game, free game pass, and a free $200USD wireless router through Newegg.
Unpopular opinion maybe, but I love the look of this card. If nothing else, they at least tried something. There are so many generic looking cards, looking almost identical per generation. This looks great I think, and brings a fresh design idea.
Hello it's almost a year since you posted this but I was wondering would the asrock be a good replacement for a gtx 1080 if the price was about $400.00 . There's no way to get a rtx 3080 right now with all the dirty scalpers out there or should I wait for what is called big navi video cards. The scalpers will grab them to i'm sure.
@@KitGuruTech Then you have the cost of the radiator, fans, reservoir and pump and you might as well buy a 2080 Super as you'll be up in that sort of territory.
after i send back my 5700XT ASUS TUF, I bought a 2070 super Gigabyte OC 3x (white) after your review for €560,-. Did this as 5700XT's Taichi, nitro+ and the Red Devil are €510,- i figured thought the difference is worth it. To be very fair, i like the white but with my i5 6600k (@4.3Ghz) the framerate difference is negligible between the Stock 5700XT i had and the Stock 2070S. For anyone on a budget: go for the 5700XT, the 50 to 100 euro's more is simply not worth 1 or 2 FPS. (overclocking the 2070S goes pretty well though, differences in FPS are bigger than with 5700XT)
@@phoenixharker1833 ... No. Some cards use fans of different sizes to make best use of the available surface area. This card has used a smaller central fan SOLELY so they can fit an RGB ring around it.
@@phoenixharker1833 Buddy, look at the card. The central fan could be 10mm larger if they removed the RGB ring around it, are you blind? Not sure why you're arguing against the obvious.

2021 I have NOooOOoo Regrets! I bought a "ASRock RX 5700 XT Taichi X OC+ 8GB" LOOOVE IT, does latest Doom 300FPS without drops, it's mad!
without OCing, never used the bios button, to date, it's just mad gaming on this card, to date!
I was so mad about the price if this card. I was waiting for it to come out to buy a 5700xt. Then I saw the price and noped over to a red devil.
Got it on blackfriday week, it was costed only 420 with a free asrock G10 router. So glad i got the best 5700XT for that price.

I can buy this 350 from a good friend , brand new , i really wanted to go with red devil but i think at 350 i cannot pass that price

There is now a higher priced 5700 XT. The Power Color Liquid Devil 5700 XT, at $599USD (Suggested).
well, OK - this is the most expensive air-cooled card based on current prices, adding a block is always going to add another 100+ to the price

Nope Far too expensive for what it offers. 2070 Super whilst a few quid more is far better value.

The looks of a GPU isn't important to me, as I'll be tossing out the cover and cooler into a box and mounting the PCB to a waterblock.

@@BenXCIV Looking at reviews for triple fan cards all of them have a smaller fan in the middle this one just shows out more.
