    Hi Pan, hope you are well!!! I took my unit to the US distributor for Kranzle today to figure out the issue with the foam cannons tripping the circuit breaker. Note to anyone thinking of purchasing this unit...it NEEDS a dedicated breaker, 15 amp but 20 is even better. Also, even with the upgraded system from Obsessed Garage, the orrifice in the foam cannons is too small, thus causing amperage to jump and trip the breaker. Over time this will burn up the capacitors. Atlantic Pressure Washing simply replaced a tiny orrifice on the foam cannons and they were actually more powerful but drew much fewer amperage. I’m not an electrician but something about back pressure. I am still getting a dedicated 20 or 40 amp outlet run for just the power washer, but I am glad to learn it is not a fault with the unit or something that couldn’t be fixed. Even if you don’t have a problem, switching the orrifice out brings a welcomed pressure increase to the foam cannons. Also, unless you have a 20 amp dedicated breaker, you may still be slowly damaging your capacitors, even if no symptoms. They were so specific they even said instead of the 4.0 tip, it should be like 4.2, but 4.0 won’t cause damage it’s such a small difference and in this case will give you a more focused stream. I learned a lot about pressure washers today, even that they could be set to have low PSI but tremendous GPM for commercial car washes to rinse cars faster. They actually build a house brand unit with Kranzle pumps, as they are the best and what you pay for. I was going to get a wall mounted Kranzle unit next but they informed me they are being discontinued in exchange for a unit that can be wall or cart mounted. I’ll probably have them make me a super powerful electric unit that draws from my swimming pool for summer cleaning of my stone house and walkways with low well water pressure. The big Kranzle pumps are still on and off but take longer to toggle.

      @PanTheOrganizer  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the info. But I don’t have any issues at all. I am running it on a dedicated 20 amp breaker.

    Guys, if you're looking for a budget friendly electric pressure washer, I suggest looking up the Simoniz Platinum 1800 PSI Compact Electric Pressure Washer from CDN Tire. It's rated at 1800 PSI with 2.0 GPM. The only quirk is that it uses the 15mm M22 outlet, so you need to order an adapter from Amazon if you want quick disconnects. It's regularly on sale for -30% and very decent specs!
    One of these days I would love to own the Kranzle 1122TST, but for now I'll make do with a budget friendly pressure washer. Great vid and thanks for posting Pan!

    WOW, that’s soooo nice. All the electrical pressure washers I’ve seen look like they might last a year if I was lucky. I’m a self employed carpenter, I do the car care in my house. I generally wash our vehicles once a week. So that’s washing, drying and vacuuming a black 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 dually quad cab w/ 8ft bed, a black 20ft by 8.5 ft wide enclosed tool trailer and a Honda Element SC. I didn’t realize how much time I was saving with my pressure washer till it died a Nobel death of old age( 18year old Honda pressure washer) and I just jumped into good old hose washing. Between the three, I gained an hour’s time in the exterior task alone. I like quality tools, that might just be the ticket this spring, I’m fine with the price that is as long as lasts. If they make a foam cannon that would work as a undercarriage cleaner, I’d get one. Since I’m in New England. It would be great if it rotated and it would roll so you just focus on getting to every corner of the vehicle that would be awesome.

  • @pulledofftheroad
    @pulledofftheroad 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Very nice. I’m about to pull the trigger on this same setup. People don’t understand that products like this will likely last a lifetime, that’s where the price for high quality comes in. Personally I’ve been through 4-5 electric pressure washers over the past decade. That money, as well as frustration with low quality tools, adds up

    Thank you Pan for this great video! I upgraded to a Kranzle 1122tst as well but I would like to add that Kranzle USA. Recommended using a spray nozzle orifice of 4.5 or larger so you don’t overload the pump and motor. You are one detail person who mentioned the size spray nozzle in your video. But you are using a 4.0 spray nozzle, do you adjust the pressure with the unloader valve?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I followed my friend Matt's advice (Obsessed Garage) as he kind of put that pressure washer on the map, and sells it on his store, and has done thorough testing with all types of pressure washers, nozzles, tips, etc.
      The 4.0 orifice has always worked awesome for me. Pushes 1000-1100 psi which is more than enough to wash cars. I don't touch the unloader valve.
      I have also upgraded to the new OG spec Mosmatic gun and wand.

      1000 to 2000 psi is perfect for washing cars. I wouldn’t go above 2100 psi.

      Yes there are many low cost pressure washer that do a very good job for the average consumer or weekend warrior. I had a Karcher K5 before this Kranzle, a fourth of the price, that did a great job for over 10 years and was still running like new.

  • @videomaniac108

    That's a really nice pressure washer and I'm seriously considering getting one like it, now that my car has been ceramic coated. The model I'm looking at is the K2020T that runs about 1.9 GPM @ about 2,000 psi. I have a dedicated 20A line where it will be used, so there should be no problem with running it. The main feature that I was impressed with is the ability to suck the input water from a pool or other container, in addition to the standard pressurized water main. This appeals to me in that I would be able to change the water input to a 2 1/2 gal container of distilled water for about 1 1/4 min of final rinse time, thus eliminating the need to physically dry the car and not having to use an air blower. The main drawback is the slightly higher cost than the K1122 but I think it's worth it, in terms of making the wash process simpler, faster and less likely to induce swirls in the clearcoat. If I can make the wash process totally touchless, except for cases where it's extremely dirty, and get it done quickly and easily then I could probably do two washes a week with no problem and keep my black Z looking great all the time.

    I just bought this in Australia. It's 1152 TST. It's rated at 135 bar or 1958 psi. I am using Mosmatic pressure gun like yourself with 40° nozzle. So the question is, should I reduce the pressure using the red knob to wash my car?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought the 1152 is the same as my 1122 just with an EU type power cord. Mine is rated at 1400 psi max, and I set it to 1000 psi by using a 4.0 orifice tip on my Mosmatic wand.

    These Kranzle machines exist because the Karcher, Gerni and all those other consumer level machines are garbage and they fail prematurely. Those companies who sell these garbage machines don't want to know you in the event of a failure and like to blame the operator rather than their own poor quality control.
    I bought a brand new K5.8 and it lasted around 4hrs before the pump failed.
    I'm a fussy guy and use all my equipment properly and this has now tipped me over the edge with Karcher and the like.
    I will buy a Kranzle machine now and I'll bet it will be the last machine I'll ever buy.
    Thanks Pan for this video.

Only reason I changed was to get the newer model K5 and that too served me well until I got my Kranzle. So I personally had a super good experience with both my Karcher K5.

    Pan, I must say, never heard of a Kränzle before, always been a Kärcher guy myself. But then I looked up more about it and it seems like most good things aren't known to the majority of people.
    I bought a Kärcher K7 Premium Full Control in may and it's starting to fall apart now. The plastic bits are falling out of the lance, the pressure control lance stays in mix mode. It's driving me crazy...
    On the other hand this Kränzle has metal threaded fittings, a stepless pressure regulator. Seems like the next level.
    Tomorrow going to pick up this same pressure washer, unused and new for 500 euros. Only thing is it's bought in 2018 March by a deceased family member who hasn't used it, so probably the warranty has ended.
    I hope this will indeed be the last pressure washer I'll need and will buy. It sure looks like it!
    P.s. will return the K7 on warranty and ask my money back. If not, then I'll just sell it.

      @@PanTheOrganizer I haven't yet washed my car with it, however I did try it on some other stuff, and I must say the trigger is so effortless (it is party helped by water pressure) and is very ergonomic in the hand, those solid M22 screw fittings are nice and will probably last a lifetime (except for a few occasional o-ring replacement).
      It has a nice heavy weight to it when moving it around.
      However I am already wanting to customize it. Going to buy the M2000 short gun, because I like the OE ergonomics, going to get some quick connectors and also some of those switchable tips and modify my current foam cannon so it would fit. Also those swivels seem nice between the trigger and pressure hose.
      All in all, seems rock solid and a quality product. Hope it will never break down on me!

    Silly question but I can't seem to find an answer. Do electric Power Washer need to be in the upright orientation? I understand why Gas ones need to be.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends which pressure washer you get. Follow the instructions of the one you're buying. In the case of my German built high end Kranzle unit, it needs to be laid flat on the ground for the pump to function (horizontal). And it's an electric pressure washer.
      My previous Karcher K5 pressure washer, also electric) was vertical.

Only issue is with the foam cannon it's not so good this time around doesn't foam well just comes out sloppy fan style. But you know you have a good unit when it was stolen twice. I modified the unit with a cable hole with steel grommet and a cut proof cable attached to my storage unit. Hope to keep this one longer. Hey Pam, love the channel. I totally get what your saying about the latest and greatest. For the majority dropping $1500 on a pressure washer isn't feasible. • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! First just so we're on the same page, my name is Pan, not Pam. ;)
      Of course the end result with my previous Karcher K5 is the same. There is not the point with a more expensive pressure washer. I compare it to cars. A Ferrari brings you from point A to point B just like a Corolla can. But we can agree that the experience getting there is completely different in both cars. Same with the pressure washers. Both my Kranzle and K5 are super competent, but the overall experience with the Kranzle is just that much better. Again, this is not a tool for everyone, it's for professionals or the enthusiast that needs to have the best.

  • @aceplaybill
    @aceplaybill 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    very valuable information. How do you compare this with Bosch AQT 37-13 Plus? You have mentioned that this Kranzle unit works at a pressure of 1400PSI. Bosch AQT 37-13 works at 130bar which I believe is close to 1880PSI. If that is correct (plz correct me if I am wrong) then what really matters is quality and convenience. Is that the area where Kranzle scores the most? especially the length of hose and power chord? Or is there a better model from Karcher you can refer me.?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've never used a Bosch pressure washer, so it's impossible for me to compare. Although the Kranzle can generate 1400 psi, I only output 1100 psi thanks to the MTM 4.0 orifice. More than what you need to wash a car.
      Before this expensive unit, I used to have a Karcher K5 for over 10 years that was great and was still running like new. Super value for the money, my favorite in their lineup. Here's my review on it: th-cam.com/video/v_vbuUogjd4/w-d-xo.html

      Hi Donald! Thanks for your positive comments!
      The Kranzle comes with everything you need. The lances are fully stainless steel and high quality. The kit works great as is, you don't need the extra Mosmatic gear I got. That just brings it over the top, but you can get that later down the line one day.
      What country are you from and what's your favorite video on my channel so far?

      88 dB . The good thing is the auto start stop. The pump stops when you release the trigger.

    Make it the best washing machine in the world maybe ... that this is the top of the 1k is to think it but ... as it says it is not for everyone, it depends on the use that one of commercial or residential, personally I prefer my simson gas ... because I have no problem with my neighbors in terms of noise, another thing that must be taken into account to choose a gas or an electric ... anyway good video always very good ... a huge hug

    Hey Pan -- I love your vids. I am about to buy the 1122TST and have noticed that everyone uses it only for washing cars, which is part of the reason I'm looking to buy it. The other is for general pressure washing such as cleaning brick/concrete/fences etc. Would the 1122TST also work for other general pressure washing applications? Nothing extreme, just around-the-house type of stuff. Thank you for your great videos!

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it would work great. Unless you need more than 1400 psi for the type of work you're looking into. If you need more than 2000 psi, look elsewhere.

      If you’re mobile and doing this as a job, yes gas powered is great, but you have to fill it with gas which can be an issue for some. If you want a great electric pressure washer, the Kranzle is hard to beat. That being said, I know many pro mobile detailers who use a simple 150$ pressure washer and they have no issues. You don’t need to start up with a 1000$+ unit.

    Hey Pan, living in Canada, what do you do with your Kranzle in the winter? I live in North Dakota USA, so a near neighbor to the south of Canada. It gets really, really cold here, so much so that even my insulated garage can stay below freezing (32F or 0C) for long periods of time. Would you recommend moving my Kranzle indoors to store in winter months?

    • @PanTheOrganizer

      That's pretty much the upper limit of what I would recommend for washing cars. 1000 to 2000 psi.

    Hi Pan, used my Sunjoe 3001 for the first time today and it blew up! Unfortunately most people aren’t able to spend $1,100 on a power washer. What would you recommend in the $3-400 range? Saw somewhere that Karcher doesn’t use universal quick connects so my foam cannon won’t work with them? Is there anything decent out there that isn’t made entirely of plastic?!

      In the garage of this video (which was my previous home), I was running a 15A circuit and never had any issues. ZERO. It was a brand new home in 2012 so electrical was new. In my brand new home I just moved into, I have dedicated 20A circuits to give me headroom. Here's my latest garage tour: th-cam.com/video/gyehNOd44SY/w-d-xo.html

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The unit has a MAXIMUM rating of 1400 psi, but you can modify the pressure with the orifice size of the tip. For this unit, when you use a 4.0 orifice (like on my Mosmatic gun, with 40 degree tip) it produces right around 1050 psi. Perfect for washing cars, as you also get 2.1 gpm of water output.
