I received my pressure washer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP over the weekend and decided to wait for the sun to come out before firing it up. Was needed to clean the deck. Our last pressure washer broke a couple of seasons ago, and I just hadn't replaced it yet. This one had great comments, so here we are. It was easy to assemble, and the trigger wand is comfortable and easy to hold for long periods of time. The pressure washer worked great and made quick work of the "TN North side algae" that inevitably grows every year. I also washed all of the deck furniture while I was at it... it all looks great! So far I am happy with this purchase. I plan to climb the ladder to wash siding over the next couple of days, will update if I have anything else to add after that!
From a pressure washer dealer and repair technician, if you are really going to use your machine, for more than 45min continuous, don't get any Karcher home line, even the k7 which has been downgraded on the new versions with a lot of plastic parts. Can't go wrong with a Karcher until the Karcher goes wrong after not very long. My K4 is not well built. A lot of the internals are made of plastic which crack. I'm sick of taking it apart to repair it. My advice is to think of them as 'use for a few years and then chuck in the bin'. So make sure you get them in the sale.

It’s only fair to compare the karcher professional range models to the kranzle. That’s the level range that’s comparable vs the Kranzle. Karcher makes great units.
Thank you for posting this, Matt. I’m looking at buying a Nilfisk and this video really helped make up my mind they are a good buy. Keep up the great work.
Hi Matt I’m running a Nilfisk C135i there is an issue with the higher powered machines I’ve found the machine will blow a fuse in the machine plug it’s down to the extension cable being too long the recommendation is NO longer then 10m I’ve since made mine just under this length and it seems to have fixed the problem also steer clear of cheap quick release nozzles the flow rate is not correct nice video mate 💪🏻🔥
Cheers for the info fella... The first time I used the kranzle it tripped, but other than that only trips if I quickly press the trigger release and press again. As though the pump going on off on off quickly causes a surge. But under normal use, absolutely fine
What do you think of the Landa series of pressure washers? I recently purchased a Kranzle 1122TST from Obsessed Garage, it is my first pressure washer, and I cannot do without one. Thank you for this video, great job.
Nice work Mat, good comparisons. Nilfisk 135.1i with the patio brush attachment for me, got it for £125 in the sale from Argos last November. Looking at the prices here it was a bargain and I'm very happy with it. I read lots of reviews and was put off by the amount of people who said their Karchers broke after a short period of time. Also people recommended the Nilfisk due to the metal internals as you mentioned. Edit: Just checked and the same as I have is £200 at the moment 😁
Just had my second Nilfrisk fail. Briefly went in the house to get some ear plugs. Came out and the hosepipe had come off the the pressure washer due to the hose nozzle getting really hot and the pump was making a high pitches wurring noise. Couldn't get it going again when I connected the hose back up. Seems like something is spinning in the motor but nothing is pumping any water. My other first pressure washer failure I think is an unloader problem. Briefly runs for about one second when you first switch it on. Then it cuts out. Considering the Kranzle as I've got no faith in Karcher or Nilfrisk. Seem to magically break outside of warranty and not really servicable for the home user.
Absolute crap warranty you need to send it off and you pay for postage it weighs a ton so bloody pointless lasted me 12 month Iv had enough of crap, karcher Bosch all throw away crap
Don't be. My brother is the exec. manager of Bosch Powertools aftersales service centres in all of Scandinavia. Bosch does a lot of things really well - high pressure washers ain't one of them.
I have a K2 and bought an extension pressure washer hose as the standard one wasn’t long enough and I was forever moving the unit around my car. The extension is a pain in the backside as it’s constantly coiling up.
Please, give electric another try - just try another brand. Petrol is not as efficient, and comes with other issues, like: more parts to maintain, the emissions that will stick to the paint, and the gases that go into your lungs.
Is 145 bar safe on car paint? Looking to upgrade my k2. I have quick release attachments and a high pressure gun so I wouldn't be able to control the pressure
I use a K4 full control and if I knew at the time of purchase I wouldn't have gone with it. It took 3 machines to find one wasn't faulty. In the end I got an e mail from Karcher with instructions for use which seems to say roll up a trouser leg, face North, kill a grandmother, kiss a goat (that might be the other way around) I find nice to stiff.
Been Kärcher all the way and currently have a k4 but the one MAJOR bug bare i have with them is the cheap plastic high pressure hose! If it doesn’t try and break ya ankle it gets caught under the wheels argh! Hate it! Other issue I find with the k4 is the retaining clip that connects the hose to the machine that files out a lot. Maybe I’m fussy because I play with a karcher hds 7/10 m at work 😂
I upgraded from an ancient Karcher K2.35 which failed after a pretty easy life to a Nilfisk C125 with metal pump. As opposed to a plastic one in the Karcher's at the same price point. It feels and acts like a quality piece of kit and I make sure I remove and empty the hoses and drain off any residual water after each use to help maintain it. Just upgraded to a PA foam lance too, cant wait to blast the car with some BH auto foam once the weather allows! Great content btw new sub 👍🏼
thanks for the summary! i actually have a nilfisk c110.3, ive had it a fair few yrs now, cant fault it! i have a question if you or others could answer? i bought a chemical guys foam bottle but im struggling to find the adapter to fit it to the lance, i got one off ebay but the foam just explodes from all angles between the adapter and the nozzle lol... Do you use a specific kind of foam bottle or adapter with yours? TIA!
Man there is a video this shows what he uses and where he got it I know you posted this a while back let me know if you have found one that works if not I’ll find the video and send it to you.
Used to have a Nilfisk, but when I got a Kränzle 1152 at a reasonable price.... Just love it! The accessories (at least around the house) is far superior as well! Feels like it would last my lifetime, which makes it cheap, to be honest....
Hi Matt, any thoughts on pressure washers in the £500 range? I was looking at the relatively new Nilfisk Premium 200 - had 610L/H & 200bar max (140bar operating I think?) I have 2 cars and a fair amount of paving and concrete in the garden and driveway, maybe weekly/biweekly car washes depending on car use and driving weather. It's their best non-commercial pressure washer and I just want the biggest bang for my 500 bucks. Any thoughts as compared to K7 or Ava P80 or entry level Kränzle at current pricing (K7 currently over 500 squid)?
It's funny hearing psi levels when I used 8k to 9k psi machines for my job. That can cut wood and certain types of metals, wouldn't rinse my hands with it though lol.
Hi I've just bought a nilfisk c125.7 but like yourself I previously owned a karcher k2 but as I already have some karcher accessories like 10 meter hose, short stubby gun just wondering what karcher/nilfisk adapter did you get to convert it ( the one on the back)...thanks
I detail cars at my garage in my home and i have appartement as well in my bulding so im looking for a good machine but that his very quiet one.Witch one would u recommend even if its not one of those 3. Thanks you
Got K2 and to be honest its perfect, done the whole patio with it and pressure is fine for car cleaning. However, like you mention, Kranzle is the dream machine including for me, I keep looking for them. On DW it seems the 1152TST is the most popular however what really makes me hesitant actually the weight. How does that translate into using any of those Kranzle's for the same jobs as I use the Karcher for? I can't get round how you'd be able to lug 30-40kg around a patio or around a car...? What would your advice be as it seems all Kranzles are heavy.
@@TheDetailingSpace I would still find moving a Kranzle a struggle as my street is narrow and my driveway is steep. My Nilfisk C130 is a great little tool for what I use it for, it's about 7 years old now, and I always look after it, I don't put it away wet, etc. The hoses are apparently too short and a bit flimsy on Karchers, or so I've heard.
@@owensteele1274 When it's on wheels, the 1152 will not be an issue unless you are trying to drag it through mud. They roll easy and if you buy a properly soft hose, you can get in anywhere.
hi i watched your video im intrested in a pressure washer for valeting ect but i cant one with hose reel build in could you point me in right direction?
I went to buy a Karcher from Halfrauds, and ended up only spending £60 on a Halfrauds own brand pressure washer. I have had it 8 months now, and used it 40+ times, and it's plenty good enough for washing the car. It probably wont last much longer than a year, but for £60 who cares !!
Hi ,I think the main question ,is the more expensive machine, going to do a better job ,I think probably not ,the cost is more to do with build quality, parts inside, and hoses connectors, etc ,and most of all how long the machine is going to last , saying that you could almost buy 10 karcher k2 for the price of the top range kranzle , and also ,most people want a cheap and cheerful machine, easy push together fittings ,and easy to adapt to your needs ,let’s face it , all they do is pressurise water .
Indeed. Nothing about the K series is pro grade. They don't even have ceramic coated pistons or a provision for an oil change, and all that tech fluff is just asking for problems.
great video with useful info. my k4 is beginning to fault so i am looking at an upgrade. i dont like (or use) the gimmicky pressure control lances offered by karcher. (i have stubby on my k4). kranzle is too expensive really and spec goes down dramatically at equal price points. so i am leaning towards a nilfisk premium180 or ava p80. these seem comparable with k7 with less gimmicks and, some say, better build though not seen any evidence of this.
Spec on paper might go down, but if yo compare a Kränzle 12/130 to a Kärcher K7 which are both 3kw machines, I promise you, what actually comes out of that hose, is far from equal. That Kränzle will absolutely wipe the floor with the K7. Those Kärcher specs are nothing but fluff. And a 10/122 will easily hang with the K7 as well.
The K2 has 3 pressure settings the last being for patio cleaning.. In your review you say it is OK for using on cars but does this mean you can use it on full power to clean cars ie the patio setting? I have one that I use for a spare but find that set to the middle setting which is dedicated for car use I find that the pressure isn't very good..
Buy an entry level kranzle, better than any other brand around, brass pump rather than aluminium, buy it once and you'll not be buying another a year or two later down the line. Kranzle k 1050 p £336 online 👍

@@TheDetailingSpace when I use my k2 with the lance on can adjust the power when I put on the foam cannon cant adjust power still foams but cant get adjust the power is there one out there you can adjust power when I swing foam cannon
What are your opinions on the cordless pressure washers, not professional but someone who wants to keep on top of their car through the winter months without the hassle of keep setting up a normal pressure washer. I was looking at the latest word 40 watt, maybe you know of something better. Thanks
Never tried them.... I've seen people use them at Waxstock getting ready, and they seem ok. Years ago I'd have laughed them off, but with better battery technology, I guess they can get "ok" pressure now. Maybe not enough for snow foam, but at least for a decent rinse.
great review Matt, of course real men use Karcher's 😁 my K4 FCH with upgraded 15m hose, quick connect gun & lance ext, running fine for 4+ years now. handy with the fence/paths/patio every year too. old K2 used for near 6 years and given away when i got the K4. The racer attachment for patios is a bit flimsy. I bought some different pressure nozzles from China costing £3 and they make the pressure so much better.
I think it's funny how every english speaking person who goes over the brand "Kärcher" pronounces it as if it was written in english xD There really is no "a" and "ch" as in "archer" sound in it, but rather "e" and "ch" as in "chemistry" without the "k" of "chemistry" sound. So ye, the pronounciation is rather different in German as it is supposed to be said. Lovely review tho!

We'll see if they'll manufacture an adapter that allows you to connect accessories directly to the gun.
Cheers !!!
👍
Banging out the content here lately Mat, good work fella!
Appreciate it! Thanks
Had 2 karcher k2 break on me in the last 4 years with very occasional use

U sure they never just had an air lock mate common problem they won't turn on if they have

It’s only fair to compare the karcher professional range models to the kranzle. That’s the level range that’s comparable vs the Kranzle. Karcher makes great units.
True. But I don't have one.... I have used one actually at KDS, and yes, the professional range is much better than the consumer range
I got a silverline 2100W from tesco. Hasnt quite got the refinement but definitely has the power. £140 well spent 🙂

Thank you for posting this, Matt. I’m looking at buying a Nilfisk and this video really helped make up my mind they are a good buy. Keep up the great work.
Glad it was helpful!
How is it working for you ?
Loving it 👍
Hi Matt I’m running a Nilfisk C135i there is an issue with the higher powered machines I’ve found the machine will blow a fuse in the machine plug it’s down to the extension cable being too long the recommendation is NO longer then 10m I’ve since made mine just under this length and it seems to have fixed the problem also steer clear of cheap quick release nozzles the flow rate is not correct nice video mate 💪🏻🔥
Cheers for the info fella... The first time I used the kranzle it tripped, but other than that only trips if I quickly press the trigger release and press again. As though the pump going on off on off quickly causes a surge. But under normal use, absolutely fine
Ya you have to get it wired for a heavier duty useage like your washer or dryer.
David C already got heavy duty site cable dude
Paul you did a video recommending quick release nozzle and gun?

Nice one. Much appreciated 👍
What do you think of the Landa series of pressure washers? I recently purchased a Kranzle 1122TST from Obsessed Garage, it is my first pressure washer, and I cannot do without one. Thank you for this video, great job.
Not tried the landa series.
Nice 👍
Am surprised people never mention the Bosch pressure washers considering their motors and build quality are superb.
It did cross my mind, but I've never used one or know anyone with one
They all do, some are worse than others. Even my 15m kranzle hose coils, but nowhere near as much as the one6for my karcher/nilfisk machines
Would you recommend a bigboi washr flo?
Never used one
Nito click fittings are a good upgrade if you want to get decent water hose fittings
Thanks for the info
Had 2 Karchers. Both didn't last too long. Went petrol after that.
Please, give electric another try - just try another brand.
Petrol is not as efficient, and comes with other issues, like: more parts to maintain, the emissions that will stick to the paint, and the gases that go into your lungs.
Is 145 bar safe on car paint? Looking to upgrade my k2. I have quick release attachments and a high pressure gun so I wouldn't be able to control
the pressure
I use a K4 full control and if I knew at the time of purchase I wouldn't have gone with it. It took 3 machines to find one wasn't faulty. In the end I got an e mail from Karcher with instructions for use which seems to say roll up a trouser leg, face North, kill a grandmother, kiss a goat (that might be the other way around) I find nice to stiff.
Ouch
Here in North America, SunJoe is a popular brand that makes some budget friendly products. Kranzle is on my list when I need to upgrade mine.
Yes, I've seen Sun Joe mentioned a lot on the American detailers channels
Been Kärcher all the way and currently have a k4 but the one MAJOR bug bare i have with them is the cheap plastic high pressure hose! If it doesn’t try and break ya ankle it gets caught under the wheels argh! Hate it! Other issue I find with the k4 is the retaining clip that connects the hose to the machine that files out a lot. Maybe I’m fussy because I play with a karcher hds 7/10 m at work 😂
🤣
I use a Nilfisk love it very happy with it. 😍
Nice 👍
Can it operate well from water container?
I upgraded from an ancient Karcher K2.35 which failed after a pretty easy life to a Nilfisk C125 with metal pump. As opposed to a plastic one in the Karcher's at the same price point. It feels and acts like a quality piece of kit and I make sure I remove and empty the hoses and drain off any residual water after each use to help maintain it. Just upgraded to a PA foam lance too, cant wait to blast the car with some BH auto foam once the weather allows!
Great content btw new sub 👍🏼
Nice one and thank you 👍
thanks for the summary! i actually have a nilfisk c110.3, ive had it a fair few yrs now, cant fault it! i have a question if you or others could answer? i bought a chemical guys foam bottle but im struggling to find the adapter to fit it to the lance, i got one off ebay but the foam just explodes from all angles between the adapter and the nozzle lol... Thanks, very helpful video. You don’t mention the Kärcher K5 Compact model, I guess that’s more recent - would it be basically the same performance?

Ive been using a k2 but was thinking about getting a AR Blue CLean 615 professional pressure washer Annovi Reverberi its about £500 what do you think?
Hi Matt,
any thoughts on pressure washers in the £500 range? I was looking at the relatively new Nilfisk Premium 200 - had 610L/H & 200bar max (140bar operating I think?) I have 2 cars and a fair amount of paving and concrete in the garden and driveway, maybe weekly/biweekly car washes depending on car use and driving weather.
It's their best non-commercial pressure washer and I just want the biggest bang for my 500 bucks.
Any thoughts as compared to K7 or Ava P80 or entry level Kränzle at current pricing (K7 currently over 500 squid)?
What did you go for in the end Pablo?
@@SenorRobinHood ended up going with the Nilfisk premium 200 - it's pretty damn good

Hi I've just bought a nilfisk c125.7 but like yourself I previously owned a karcher k2 but as I already have some karcher accessories like 10 meter hose, short stubby gun just wondering what karcher/nilfisk adapter did you get to convert it ( the one on the back)...thanks

The wheels are very sturdy and makes them easy to roll around. So providing you don't have to lift it over a wall or steps you'd be fine.
👍
@@owensteele1274 When it's on wheels, the 1152 will not be an issue unless you are trying to drag it through mud. They roll easy and if you buy a properly soft hose, you can get in anywhere.
hi i watched your video im intrested in a pressure washer for valeting ect but i cant one with hose reel build in could you point me in right direction?
I am looking at getting a petrol pressure washer for mobile detailing would you have any recommendations ? Thanks
The Karcher K5 is second from the top of the domestic series. The Pro range is different entirely.
Thank you
Spec on paper might go down, but if yo compare a Kränzle 12/130 to a Kärcher K7 which are both 3kw machines, I promise you, what actually comes out of that hose, is far from equal. That Kränzle will absolutely wipe the floor with the K7. Those Kärcher specs are nothing but fluff. And a 10/122 will easily hang with the K7 as well.
I use an Italian made LAVOR it's wonderful!
Greets from Switzerland
Mine lasted 14 years, only died yesterday, hence why I'm here
Very good review thanks for posting
Hi mat what nozzles do you use or recommend
The K2 has 3 pressure settings the last being for patio cleaning.. In your review you say it is OK for using on cars but does this mean you can use it on full power to clean cars ie the patio setting? I have one that I use for a spare but find that set to the middle setting which is dedicated for car use I find that the pressure isn't very good..
Buy an entry level kranzle, better than any other brand around, brass pump rather than aluminium, buy it once and you'll not be buying another a year or two later down the line. Kranzle k 1050 p £336 online 👍
Hi the Nilfisk Pressure Washer is that the one you use with this make can you put on a foam cannon an then adjust the pressure on the handlebars found out with kartcher when useing cannon you have no power is there a power washer out there that when you fit foam cannon you can still a just the power for the foam to get better foam
Yes, even on my C110 I was able to use a snow foam lance without any issues.

What are your opinions on the cordless pressure washers, not professional but someone who wants to keep on top of their car through the winter months without the hassle of keep setting up a normal pressure washer.
I was looking at the latest word 40 watt, maybe you know of something better.

Never tried them.... I've seen people use them at Waxstock getting ready, and they seem ok. Years ago I'd have laughed them off, but with better battery technology, I guess they can get "ok" pressure now. Maybe not enough for snow foam, but at least for a decent rinse.
Hi Matt. where did you get the adapter for the nilfisk to accept karcher hoses etc. Thanks Mike
great review Matt, of course real men use Karcher's 😁 my K4 FCH with upgraded 15m hose, quick connect gun & lance ext, running fine for 4+ years now. handy with the fence/paths/patio every year too. old K2 used for near 6 years and given away when i got the K4. I'm sure Alan @ AMDetails also uses a K4 and I think Pan the Organiser has a K1152TST. Karcher now have compact models which are much smaller (same spec) than the older full size units.

I think it's funny how every english speaking person who goes over the brand "Kärcher" pronounces it as if it was written in english xD
There really is no "a" and "ch" as in "archer" sound in it, but rather "e" and "ch" as in "chemistry" without the "k" of "chemistry" sound.
So ye, the pronounciation is rather different in German as it is supposed to be said.
Lovely review tho!
