@@Servellion exactly, Blizzard Entertainment would have more than enough resources to remake Warcraft III from ground up BUT the question is, would there have been any sense to do so? Lets be honest here Activision Blizzard would NEVER let Blizzard to spend that much money or resources to 18 year old RTS game when all their other new projects would be far more profitable.... I mean RTS genre (unfortunately) has very niche audience and thus WC3:REFORGED was never going to have the kind of budget or big enough team behind it that it would have required to be something like Resident Evil 2 remake was or what FF VII remake will be.
@@Balnazzardi Plus part of the reason stuff like redoing campaign to bring more lore heavy characters to the front was cut was partially because there was push back from fans. The team stuck with this project already had they're work cut off for them to give every single unit and building a new model on top of bringing the old cinematics to HD. In short we could have gotten the reforged everyone was dreaming of if execs hadn't stuck there dicks in it. So I'm just thankful we have WC3 brought up to speed.

But even here the orcs look better than in the new reforged intro or any new cinematic from WoD, BfA or the Warcraft movie. Old orcs had no lips basically or at least not that human like. They had that unique ape-like face/skull. They had just one pair of tusks. Even the eyes were different.
That's true. I also don't like how they are in some new Warcraft cinematics, just bulky and dumb-looking, even if it looks more similar to the originals from WC1 and WC2. Looking like buff humans with gorilla-like faces and (the most important) protuberant jaws with small tusks is the best orc visual to me. The Warcraft movie did make some justice to it, but I still think their appearance in the BfA cinematics is a solid successor to what we had in WC3.

At least they were not just enemies / minions like in most RPGs. But they still looked more alien and monster-like. That is the Warcraft-orc look for me, even though Metzen had some concept art where the orcs had a more human-like face/head.

I never noticed how Grom's eyes turned from red to his normal eye color at 3:06 and onward.

The never said they were going to remaster the cutscenes, they updated the in-game graphics, and raided the resolution of the cutscenes.

They remixed the sound.. now its worse :( the Thrall sounds especially sound like its a comedy. The final roar when Grom dies is also much weaker..
