    Ryan Cinecio, from Fort Worth, TX, enrolled at Tulsa Welding School straight out of high school. He graduated in February 2013. Immediately after graduation, Ryan applied for a job at a gas plant in Colorado.
    He drove out there, passed a welding test and got the job.
    Ryan said that any test the job was going to throw at him, he already passed at Tulsa Welding School. The staff at Tulsa Welding School provided hands on experiences with tests that come directly from the field.
    During his free time he enjoys going back to his ranch to see family and ride on his ATV. He enjoys to ride fast and can live fast with financial freedom thanks to the quality education and support by Tulsa Welding School.
    Tulsa Welding School was founded in 1949 by two welders who recognized a strong demand for skilled tradesman in their industry. Over 60 years later, Tulsa Welding School (TWS) has evolved into an educational institution that prepares students for various skilled trade careers with a multitude of specialties and applications. Graduates from Tulsa Welding School are trained to have the knowledge, skills and essential attitude to immediately enter their chosen profession.
    Professional welders are found everywhere. Welders work on automotive, aerospace, aviation, bridges, bikes, shipyard, shops, and skyscrapers. Wherever you want to be, a career at Tulsa Welding School can help take you there.
    Three professional welding campuses are located in Tulsa, OK, Jacksonville, FL, and Houston, Texas. The Associate of Occupational Studies in Welding Technology training is only available at the Tulsa campus.

      Iroden Sharnn same with the lincoln school... the biggest company in welding has schools that dont even certify you.. you get a “certificate of completion” or what is also known as an apprentice ticket. Why tf would anyone go to a school just to come out as an apprentice? Over $20k for it too!!!

    • @HaidaWay
      @HaidaWay 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Iroden just finishing up at AVTEC in Seward Alaska. Really good unknown program. Certify on 1” plate in 3g and 4G. Also certify on 6” schedule 80 pipe in 6G position you learn the welding here for sure but obviously different in the field. Oh yea and you’re a 3 hour drive from any big city an you’re in Alaska lol.

I still work for them today and the highest paid guy, is a Spanish dude that didn't even graduate high school lol. I'm sure there are alot of places that won't hire u unless u have certs and weld schooling, but there are also a tone of places that don't care and will hire u as long as u can weld.

    Do y'all know what's a good trade school that teaches TRUE welding skills that are required in the field? Or would it be better to jump in and try to get an apprenticeship to become a welders helper even if I have absolutely no first hand experience whatso ever? I would love to learn this skill and know I could make something out if it. Any type of advice from you already in the trade would be much appreciated. Thank you

      Apprenticeship would be better..once you got enough experience..you can go to school and get certified within shorter time than welder that came in fresh..i'm not sure how the system works in your country..but in mine the system works that way since back then until now,old timer got certified based on their work experiences..but if you ask me,better secure the job/apprenticeship first

    Everyone already rents out their welding rigs but don't be fooled ppl this Is possible but rare and your working 16 hours a week 7 days a week for 6 months plus straight no days off to enjoy your toys. I'm 29 been doing it like him since I was 18 with rig and all and my body amd back is so wore out it hurts and takes me 30 minutes to get out of bed cuse my body and joints are wore out from all the small tight places I have been in for 14 hours straight welding amd fitting limiting all your welding lines and pulling them up the side of ships which is a good 50 feet up and then pull then a other 60 foot down into the inner bottoms and having to carry 60 to 90 lb cummalongs carry your heavy 100 lb tool bag up flights of hundreds of stairs or down into tiny holes in a ship or oil platform or under pipes in knee deep mud on your back trying to keep your head above the mud so you cN see tonweld bottom of the pipe it's not pretty fun and easy like this looks for the average welder fabbercator or ship fitter pipeline welder or fitter it sucks my hands hurt constant from the constant heat they felt for 12 hours straight every day off the heat of the welder or sticks or torches while cutting. There is no glove to keep extreme 500 plus degree heat from getting your hand hot to about 140 degrees for hours it does permanent nerv damage my knees hurt so bad to walk anymore and I got arthritis in both hands and ankles and knees. I have 3 slipped disks and spinal stenosis from being a welder and ship fitter and fabbercator and pipe line welder and fitter at 29 it hurts that bad guys and know I'm on string pain pills and meds just so I I have a better quality of life and all I do for money is rent my 3 welding rigs out and sit back and collect money
