How the fk have you not married this girl mate. Lock her in. No pressure from youtube audience though. 😂😂.
You two have a great dynamic in the videos, bianca has been a good edition to your channel, now that she has a more consistant time of it obviously her schedule has allowed it, its obvious you guys are becoming more screen time comfortable. Great videos you guys pump out.

Just a tip for next time if you just remove the bottom caliper bolt and swivel the caliper up out of the way on the top bolt. Saves having to balance the it on the lower control arm and it won't fall. Very well put together video nicely done.

Forgot to add you can also use an old brake pad to push both pistons back at the same time as well

My mechanic was going to charge me$500 to change mine on my 2008 BT50 but after watching this I did it myself, cost me $150 for the pads and half an hour of my time, thanks guys you saved me $350👍

Well done. An easy way to depress the two cylinders is to straddle both pistons with a piece of flat steel or aluminium bar and clamp the bar between the two pistons to depress them uniformly. As someone else suggested is to put some silicone grease on the two bolts that fix the calipers to the body. This helps to make calipers clamp more smoothly and help prevent seizing up.

Well done guy's, just a 2 bobs input, when pushing back the cylinders I usually put an old pad over both and then use the clamp in 1 movement. Keep up the fun and informative vuds guy's.

One other thing you could have added while changing the pads was to lubricate the slide bolts and pad slides with heatproof copper based grease.
Something to keep in mind for the next service.

hi 1/ silicon lube caliper slides always ...
2/ push pistinsback with a LARGE g clamp pushing on old pad
3/ option ... clamp flexi brake line then open caliper bleeder and push pistons back ,much much easier
4/ ALWAYS FLUSH AND BLEED all 4 wheels after brake job

@@explorebound keep up the great videos they have really given me the confidence to tackle these on my own vehicle, did the service one just yesterday and followed your video to the exact, only slight issue I had was removing my fuel filter it looks like it's been on there for ages has the original mazda part numbers all over it. Might have to visit super cheap for a fuel filter wrench as the one I was using didn't help

I never push the brake pedal to the floor as it can damage the master cylinder cups just push it slightly down a few times
