  • Fiido M1 Pro Review - Foldable Fat Tire e Bike
    e Bikes are fun. The Fiido M1 Pro is no exception. I took this baby out for extensive testing, and here are my thoughts.
    Unlock the speed from 25 kmh~40 kmh (15.5mph~25mph)

    Hi Jerry, Thanks for another excellent product review. I value your opinion and trust your judgement. But to describe the sound of the horn as “absolutely adorable” gave me a chuckle! That description is something I would expect from Tina. This bike seems to be a good value.
    P.S. I hiked to the top of Camelback this morning in 34:36, a personal best.

      Nice! I used to run up and down it back in the day. That's pretty fast going up.

    Thanks for the review. I've ridden an e bike recently and was really surprised at how much I liked the pedal assist. I never touched the throttle. I have ridden road bikes and mountain bikes for many years as well as dirt bikes. Those electric dirt bikes are a mind blower. When I moved to AZ I took up hiking and have stayed with that. I feel like your assessment of this bike being good for pavement and easier off road as accurate. I think to get a bike to be used for more hardcore off road situations one would have to go with one of the well known MTB makers with top notch suspension. But for 95% it's all a person will need. An Ebike for sure is a great way for people out experiencing the outdoors and possible more into the MTB activity. I've heard more and more bikes showing up at MTB group rides. I tried my ebike with a group of about 10-12 people testing two bikes and not a single one came back without an ear to ear smile. Like you said " It's just fun ". To heck with the purist.Thanks again for this video and all the others.

      They are a ton of fun. I always just thought of those bikes and scooters in Tempe that people abandon everywhere and hated them, but I've enjoyed this and another one I have a lot.

    Why am I watching an E-Bike video when I'm not interested.... Cause Jerry posted it. No better reason.

    To be honest I've never really been interested in the e-bikes but believe I have to agree with you. Looks like a good toy & a lot of fun for forest roads!

    Loved the review. Great job! I purchased a really cheap E-bike and was amazed at how fun it is. My suggestion to anyone who wants an E=bike is to buy one that is between $1000-$2000. I went cheap (Walmart) and regretted it. Your review seemed spot-on to me.

    • @JerryArizona
      @JerryArizona  ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed. Seems to be the sweet spot for an entry/intermediate level that's also reliable.

    The rear as suspension with adjustment the travel’s about 11/4 on the rear 21/4 on the front the battery rattles. I put thin strips of draft excluder on the bottom and sides. The derailleur is tourney and cheap it bends under the slightest pressure.

    @Jerry Arizona The price seems to be in line with Lectric XP models. Lectric have their offices and support centre in Phoenix. The angled part of the grip needs to be pointed back and flipped horizontal since it is a palm rest. A cushier seat will do wonders for comfort. Buy a good pair of gloves to absorb the vibrations. I'd consider this an "entry" ebike for new riders. If you lower the air too much, you will get pinch flats (rock against tube). Make sure you always have a spare tube and a repair kit with you unless you like pushing a heavy ebike back to base.
    I have the original Lectric XP and bring it from Canada down to Arizona/California inside my RV. Riding and exploring the areas I camp in are great in an ebike like this. Well done video.

      I feel like this is definitely an entry bike. Still a lot of fun, but there are more serious models out there.

    Cool bike, but there is no way I would take that bike on anything other then something like Usery or McDowell. Smooth flat green trails.

    6 to 10 psi for the tires for a lot smoother ride.

    My 21 has 3 pedal assist modes but how to drive on full electric? There doesn't seem to be option

    • @JerryArizona
      @JerryArizona  ปีที่แล้ว

      There should be a throttle on the right handlebar. You just hold that down and don't pedal and it will power on full electric. If you have it on pedal assist, it only kicks on when you're pedaling.

    • @saidul02
      @saidul02 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JerryArizonaactually, it is locked due to legal requirements, you need to unlock the motor's full potential or else the button only gives a gentle push much like the car's first gear.

    • @JerryArizona
      @JerryArizona  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@saidul02 interesting. Might be a new rule or something regional. Mine came with the full electric assist via the throttle as well as pedal assist. (It was not unlocked for the higher speed though.) I have another e bike that is the same as well. Maybe it's due to your local laws?

    Fiido's M1 Fat Tire Electric Bike: A Legal Nightmare and a Waste of Money
    I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my experience with your company and the M1 Fat Tire Electric Bike that I purchased from your website approximately one year ago for a price of $1,079.00.
    Two weeks ago, while riding this bike on the road in the UK, I was stopped by police who informed me that it is illegal to use this e-bike in the UK on the road without a license, insurance, and registration, just like all other motorbikes. As a result, they took my bike and fined me £150.
    When I went to pick up my e-bike, I was told by the police that it was impossible to return it to me because it cannot be registered and the registration office therefore cannot give it back. This is a shocking and unacceptable outcome, especially since I was not warned by your company or anyone else at the time of purchase that this bike was illegal to ride in the UK on the road.
    I am extremely disappointed with your lack of transparency and responsibility in this situation. I have now lost both my bike and my money, and I feel that it is important to warn others to be careful when considering purchasing an e-bike from your company. I strongly recommend that potential customers do their research properly and be prepared for the possibility of losing both their money and their e-bike, just as I did.
    Sincerely,
    [Ata]

      I’m assuming it has throttle control which isn’t allowed in the UK and some other EU countries.
