I’ve honestly had a hard time looking for recipes for legs of lamb, especially in a slow cooker. But I find this recipe actually really helpful, thank you so much for sharing this with everyone here on TH-cam. This really comes in handy when I don’t have parents that can hand recipes down to me, instead I can look on TH-cam and find others who are willing to share like your selves. Bless you guys, and your family.
Ihave just bought a Ninja foodi and have been looking on TH-cam to see how to use it but some I have watched don't explain it suitable for a novice and one just tries to be funny and make it about himself and not the cooker so thank you very much for making it easy and simple to use.
Looks absolutely delicious and tasty. I want to see more slow cooker recipes in the ninja foodi as I haven't seen a lot of videos using that function. Thanks for the recipe.
G'day Scott from Australia 🇦🇺. Nice of you to have a Aussie lamb leg for the ninja foodie demo. Mate.. your voice and accent is identical to the high jacked trooper in Clint Eastwood's "The Gauntlet". Can't think of the actors name but he's played parts in a few of the Eastwood movies. Thanks for the video. It's an easy one and no fuss. I have a 1/2 leg with shank due to be cooked at week's end. I like a bit of carve left in mine, so I'll nock back the cooking time an hour or so. A lot of pubs here serve a slow cooked lamb leg as a Sunday lunch and dinner special. Very popular and first in, best choice. It includes all the trimmings and a drowning of gravy. Mary had a little lamb, her father shot it dead. Now it goes to school with her between 2 slices of bread. Cheers Scott. Thanks.

Hi, Scott! ***** Five Stars! I followed this recipe for our Christmas dinner with an 8 lb boneless leg of lamb. It took 10.5 hours, and was tender and delicious when done! This was the first time for me to use the slow cook feature. The veggies I used were 2 parsnips, 2 carrots, 2 russets, onion, garlic and only thyme for the aromatics, I don't care for rosemary. Christmas Dinner was a huge hit! Thank you SO much! Five stars! *****
Hi Scott! Love the idea of adding peas at the end to make it a one pot dinner! Did you add dry peas or frozen peas? Love the video btw! I use this recipe for my family quite often and they love it!
Best lamb I've ever cooked, 15 minutes at 200c then drop to 130c roast using an internal probe set on rar, check temperature using wired digital probe until desired temperature buy using a non wired probe 65c medium rare 75c well done
great recipe & awesome demonstration .....have a shoulder in the fridge and will try your recipe tomorrow. Regards & best wishes & hows about some more recipes.
BTW. I subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to your future cooking adventures. What state are you in? I'm in NSW, New South Wales. Town, Richmond. See you soon.
Thanks Scott. As a lamb-eating NZer I appreciate the info. Just wondering if 4 hours on high for leg would do the job? Definitely 8 hours for shoulder. Cheers.
Thank you I think u have the same one as me, i only Got it yesterday I'm wanting to do a beef stew on Friday after a nightshift so ill do lo for 8 hours and hope for the best 🙈
Love leg of lamb. Thanks for showing this one.

A lamb bone is used in Passover Ceremonies. When I buy a legless roast, I get a bone from the butcher on the side.

Thanks for the sub! I live in Virginia. Near the Shenandoah Valley.
A mighty fine place the Shenandoah. Lots of history and magnificent scenery and of course the smell of cooking lamb.. A bucket list visit.
@@ScottCooks I live in Virginia too. Northern Neck
Thanks for this, great idea. Quick question, do you think using pressure cooker for a shorter time would achieve the same results?
I calculated time according to weight. So a leg of lamb weighing less could be done in less time. I haven't tried that but it should work fine.
@@ScottCooks cheers 🥂

What did you do with the juices?
It's soup to eat
Is there a cook high option?
On slow cook there is a high and low. No other temp setting for my model of Foodi.
Thank you I think u have the same one as me, i only Got it yesterday I'm wanting to do a beef stew on Friday after a nightshift so ill do lo for 8 hours and hope for the best 🙈
Perfect for my old Mum. At 97, she can't chew chops or even a normal roast, but this will be fine.
Mate u shoulda crisped it up with air fryer function
I do that to beef and pork roasts sometimes. Didn't really think about for lamb. next time....
I have a secret. Instead of sautéed meats onions whatever, try bake roasting or browning for any stew casserole soup whatever it’s superior to sautéed
Got given a whole carcass and am off to saw off a leg now🤤😋
This is a disaster, lamb wasn’t cooked and potatoes were hard.
I'm sorry yours didn't turn out ok. Mine was absolutely perfect and delicious. Kinda hard to screw up a slow cook!
You COULD have put a bit more effort into presentation 🙄
I am trying to do better in my newer videos. Thanks for watching
