Where can i see the final result ?
This made me feel like it's possible
Anything is possible! I hope these videos will give you the information you need to help that process of making it possible
Its possible, exhausting but possible
Chris, congratulations, man! After almost 2 years of searching on TH-cam, I finally found what I wanted, and I loved it! Please create many more videos like this. Because it could help many videographers and people who are interested in cinematography. It gave me a vision of how exactly things work, and it is delightful, man. Please do it more! A great thanks and greeting from Berlin :)
Thank you! I’m glad this is what you were looking for. Going to bring lots of behind the scenes for y’all!
This is awesome, happy to hear that!@@chrisajtony
Yo Chris, what a great breakdown man! Sometimes these raw looks at how a production went are the most valuable and insightful. Your cinematography is beautiful and it's great to see not only how well you work with your crew, but how you all seem to really enjoy what you're doing and are having fun while doing it. Awesome stuff, can't wait to see more from you!
Thank you Alex, appreciate the kind words.
really educational stuff. the love of your craft and enthusiasm definitely comes across in how you explained the details of the project even though it was a long video.
Good job, looking forward to learning more from you!
Much appreciated! I’ll work on trying to make these shorter over time, it’s just hard because there is so much content!
Had a such blast filming this behind the scene video! Chris, this is very informative and entertaining to watch all the way through! I love how raw this is to learn by watching them. So much golden nuggets you shared. Excited for more!
Youre a legend Phillip
What did you shoot with? love the grade/look
This is so awesome. I love how passionate you are doing it. Your team management too is on another level.❤
I can't wait to see the final work bro.
Thank you my man!
Holy cow, love the composition of the shots. And the grade on this BTS video was good too!
Thank you so much!
This is great, definitely looking forward to more of these!
lots of good ones coming!
This is amazing content. Keep up the more indepth lighting setups and tips and I'll be watching. Awesome stuff man
I definitely will! You guys will have all my secrets very soon.
Enjoyed every bit of this video. Thank you.
One of the best film behind the scenes videos that I've ever watched. Ive been wanting to make my own videos as i am an up and coming, student filmmaker in NYC! thank you for this wonderful watch! its almost like watching a mini doc.
Can’t wait to watch your videos when you make them! Is there any videos that would help you on your filmmaking journey?
this is awesome! watched this over and over and just been inspired! keep up the good work!😎🎥💡
Thank you!
After 7 years of doing amateurish work and not progressing in my filmmaking I finally decided to just try thinking like a pro for once instead of being afraid. I realized shooting like this but in a smaller band is possible. I got my tripod, steady cam and a fully kitted out rig. Now I'm just waiting on my lights and trying to learn as much as possible about how.to use them creatively. This video really helped out and I can't believe this is free
Nice man! Glad to hear youre killing it. Here to give back to you guys
Always solid information. Awesome Chris! Hunter!!!!!!!
Appreciate it!
Watched the entire thing man, full of gems. 2024 I am going to make my leap into sharing some of my journey as a filmmaker and stuff like this inspires me. Thanks for being extremely thorough and providing dope value you!
Can’t wait! I will be watching
I'm a production designer/art director and very happy I saw this video on my homepage. Congratulations and thank you for sharing your work process and ethics.
I really want to start designing and compositing scenes, style, mood and shots with video directors and cinematographers and have them rendered for pre-production and production itself. I believe that can help every department to physically see what the end goal is at the beginning of the entire production. Will also make communications, plans, suggestions etc blend in smoothly and encourage speed.
I see the difference that can make. I see it. I promise I'm not hallucinating 😅.
Currently, I see that there is no to little collab between our professions. I hope that changes soon in our industry 🙏🏾.
More Love to you and the team.
Youre totally right, the production designer and the cinematographer work really closely together to design the visual style of a project. Looking forward to collaborating one day!

Thank you my man, really appreciate the kind words. Just here to show that it can be fun and not stressful but also giving some valuable info my 18 year old self wish he had back then.
Wow wouldn't have thought that bedroom interior was shot at night, great work!
Those sheers really helped sell the ray factor! I always bring sheers with me just for that purpose! Also helps soften the light naturally
This is crazy valuable material for people who are just learning how to get in the camera/light dept. Hugs from Spain!!
Im glad it was valuable!!

that room setting was beautiful brother. World-class shot.
It was almost impossible to make that location look bad. Texture is so key to making the image look good.
Great detail and great vlog! Packed full of practical information! Great seeing more vloggers in our industry. I started vlogging on my channel this summer.

Thank you my man!
cool id - im setting off on my first music fideo in 12 hours and 22mins time, its super minimal and I wanted to see somethings I should look out for - vid made me relax about the shooting!
Love this type of content. It's just that every time I see videos like this, there's always like $50,000 + equipment being used 😭😭😭
I can’t disclose how much we rented all the equipment for. But it was for a fraction of the cost and that is because as a DP you must make good relationships with all the rental equipment houses in your town so that down the line, they will help you out with discounts and supporting your career as a DP.
Hi Chris amazing video. What’s the name of the app use to take the pictures using the different framing angles.
Hey, you are an inspiration bro. I enjoyed watching the whole video, keep up the good work. Hoping to see more bts videos
I appreciate that!
Amazing, I've been on 2 music sets before here in the UK.
Everything was so fast-paced, due to lack of time.. but I just liked how everything is so easily explained in this BTS- video.
Could you maybe do a part 2 on what happened after this ?
Like color grading, closing down the set, and maybe, all the way to publishing it on youtube?
Thanks, I'm subscribing now! 😂😅
I will try to make some content about that! Thank you for the feedback. Can’t wait to have you in the community!
YES!!!! Please.. please.. please 🙏🏾 Do more bts videos like this 💪🏾🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

Hey Chris, I loved this BTS! There's so much valuable information here and it's amazing to see how other people approach their work! Would be nice to see more from the pre-production, when it comes to building the treatment/deck for the music video (since you co-directed this), but overall is one of the best BTS videos on YT I've seen. Your lighting work is amazing, great job on it!
Is there a link to the final music video? I tried looking on your Instagram or website, but you've only added stills from the clip.
Thank you! Ill work on making sure that I show the prep!

The scene looks so crisp bro. I enjoy watching every bit of it; I may wish to know which camera did you use for the shoot. Thanks !
Thank you! We filmed with the Arri mini LF and the bts was shot with the Lumix s5ii
bro measuring height was never something i considered. Nice!
glad it helped!
good stuff!
Thank you! What videos would you like to see?
I like your contents. Thank you.
thank you!!
Great video, just wish the music video was linked so we could see
Thank you music video is dropping soon!
Great content, just a minor correction at 18:33 you said moonlight is not hard. That's a common misconception. Many people think that the moon is a soft source because it is dim. However, the moon (factoring in that it's a small light source) actually is a hard light and casts a hard shadow.
You can see this illustrated in experimental night photos by David Mullen, ASC. He took photos at night at a high ISO to demonstrate the light quality of moonlight. You can look up his work on the matter.
Very interesting thank you!
hi where can I find the music video?
no cuz you ate
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great video Chris. But dude, you gotta tag the artist and the song in the description
I will when the video releases haha
Where can I see that video ?
