This is GOLD!!! 🏆🥇✨ Thank you so much, Brady, for sharing this inspiring and informative BTS! Full of gems and good information about how to do a shoot! So glad it went well. One of those things that makes you glad you chose your profession and passion! Take care, brother!
Fantastic BTS and lighting breakdown video. It was great to hear how well the production went. When I shot my first feature, I was very fortunate to be surrounded by a cast and crew that was all in on the production. Like any production there are always moments of getting lighting and cameras set up in a timely manner. But, with a great crew these moments are softened by everyone's dedication to the process. Resulting in a drama-less production. Looking back to 2019 when I shot my first feature, I realize how lucky I was that everyone on the production were quite easy to work with and fun. Thanks again for sharing your process. There is so much information and inspiration to take away from your videos. Cheers.
Really appreciate your content, dude. I'm a small fry on a small budget, but I love how good stuff comes out amazing when I'm experimenting with what I have.
Fantastic BTS video, Brady! I love seeing a successful complicated and demanding project come together like that. The pre-planning was the key. One hour per scene seems incredibly quick, indicating how well the pre-planning worked. Plus you didn't have many old geezers like me hanging around "helping" between medicine breaks.
Love these BTS insights! What a great team that looks. Insane what you were able to do in one day. Keep them coming like this, Brady. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and team dynamics.
I’d love to see a breakdown of the classroom scene’s lighting and the gym scene’s lighting. Seemed pretty straightforward, but would still love to hear your commentary and thought process on it!
Great BTS material! Would lvoe to see more detailed breakdown of the lighting - especially the classroom shots. On the combo stand, what kind of crossbar do you use to hold the cloth across? Is it 6ft?
Great video! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You guys where using the hollyland intercom system. Would you recommend it? Is it loud enough to use at a festival?
Thanks Peter! I love it! However I used them at a concert once and did have some issues hearing. BUT the pro’s I heard have noise canceling feature, haven’t tried it but sounds helpful for that
Great video, Brady. When you say, "everybody came together to create something great," I assume money was still spent (lights and other equipment were rented, e.g., I assume). How much was spent, on what, and by whom?
Nice! Well, you guys assembled a pretty solid crew!

Hi Brady, I watch a lot of your videos and I was wondering, on an Alexa mini do you use a black pro mist filter? or do you only use it on lower-end cameras to remove the digital aspect? Thank’s
I love how for you in your country thats a "low budget music video" while here in Argentina if the video isnt for the, not even top 10 artists, lets say top 25/50, you'll be stuck filming by yourself, all 1 man crew 😥now thats low bugdet. Love your content though, i try and learn something from each one
props to that 1st ac for pulling focus on some of those crazy handheld / dolly push ins & pull outs.
Thanks again for a great video! I love how it was "low budget" but the A cam was Arri. Must be nice to live in the States haha.
That camera rickshaw rig is pretty clever!
That’s what I thought too!!

Thank you Karl! I’m not quite sure exactly who it came from or where exactly it went, but I know for the gist of it it was toward location and gear
Nice! How did you guys go about the logistics like booking the school and assembling a crew?
I wish I knew the location side, but the crew was a lot of asking Friends etc
Nice! Well, you guys assembled a pretty solid crew!

Are you shooting without audio? See you are doing the timecode thing with a smartphone. Do input the timecodes manually in post?
Hi.
What diffusion fabric are you using it on the shots?
I want some 1/4 but Westcott Scrim are a little bit expensive for me.
I think it was just poly silk or something similar
@@BradyBessette Well.. i'm going to look, thanks
Is nd filter used at night lights shooting..?
curious to know what he tricycle trolley carrying gimbal called?
Looks like a Proaim Magnus
damn can you do a video about lighting
What's the bike unit dolly thing?
Great BTS, keep them coming. I started to vlog BTS style on my channel too!
Thank you so much!!

Shooting an entire music video in just 8 hours is no small feat.

Song name 1:13-1:22 please?
Sick of being young!
@@BradyBessette I think this is the name of the music video you shot, but 1:13-1:22 is a totally different song I think
@@BradyBessette perhaps, it's musicbed's song or something?
Ah sorry! Yes, it is musicbed but I am in the airport at the moment so can’t look it up!
@@BradyBessette Whenever you can please and thank you
