For the price...this is a luxury bargain. Definitely punches above Lange, Patek, AP, etc.

If I ever decide to spend around six figures on a watch (I won’t), it would definitely be between a Gauthier, Credor or maybe stretch a bit more for a GF.
Really it’s just a thought exercise because I’ve never gone much over $30K and likely never will. Still a lovely piece and worthy of the price, which is increasingly rare these days.

Romain Gauthier are definetly a brand worth their price, great watches.

Those are all mass produced machine made watches that have barely ever seen (if at all) a living, breathing watchmaker during their production phase. The brands that you mentioned assemble watches from parts shipped by suppliers. Romain Gauthier is in a different league entirely.
R. Gauthier watches feature beautiful movements with limited complications, yet they are priced similarly to the A. Lange & Söhne Time Zone, which offers a significantly more intricate and complex movement.
